Chen woke up before the damnable snake and Kuan-Yin to only find out that another pest had appeared because of Kuan-Yin's kindness. The damn foreign beast that nearly killed his lover was resting close by where Kuan-Yim was sleeping peacefully. His was jealous of the damn beast surrounding her because he was being pampered by Kuan-Yin. If he could he would keep every little thing away from her and keep her by his side for the rest of their lives but he didn't want to restrict her freedom because of his selfishness.

Kuan-Yi was still recovering on the soft moss bed so Chen lifted her up as gently as possible and placing her body on top of his body. He was in true bliss once he was close to her, hugging her close to his body, however, taking caution not to do any damage to her already fragile body. Facing his back towards the two beasts shielding his lover from their view, he knew about his childish antics however never thought about changing them.

Kuan-Yin's butterfly eyelashes fluttered open to shows their greyish hue that seem to be uncommon within society. The vast majority of the population had the typical black eyes. Many much have avoided her due to her eye colour. "Wifey you awake now?" He smirked at his cute wife.

"Chen I'm not your wife yet," Kuan-Yin stretched her limbs, yawning.

"I'm your hubby so I can call you wifey," Chen hugged her close inhaling her scent, "You better call me hubby from now on,"

"Chen I am not going to call you hubby," Kuan-Yin kissed Chen on the cheek, "Let's get something to eat." She reached down to the ground below the soft moss bed.

Chen chuckled full heartedly that he was holding his belly, "You say you were not going to call me hubby, " he laughed again, "But you call me hubby, wifey do you love me so much that you instinctively called me hubby?" he then wriggled his eyebrows.

"Chen Long Wei You Bastard I Can't Believe I Fell For You, " Kuan-Yin started to chase Chen around the forest trying to catch him. He would always disappear away before Kuan-Yin's fingertips could touch him, "Ugh! You annoying bastard how do I tolerate you this time?"

Chen came from behind hugging her, "Because you love me so much," He snuggles her close to him so he could savour her scent and presence.

Kuan-Yin and Chen travelled to the North Fa Continent where Kuan-Yin died before to meet with her brother's family. Kuan-Yin rushes to the doors of the residence of her brother's family came bursting in, "Brother! Sister in law! Hong-Li! I'm here!" She came into without notice and surprised the entire family.

"Yin'er!" Both Kuan-Bai and his wife simultaneously went to greet her. They squished her into a bear hug obviously Chu Hua couldn't because she was carrying a bigger Hong-Li. "Why are you here?" Kuan-Bai was obviously showing his displeasure at his future brother in law. Kuan-Bai was glaring at him while Chen has a closed eye smile and between the two was a suffocating atmosphere. The two men who were concentrated on staring each other down has been left behind by their lovers.

"Yin'er how has Chen been treating you lately?" Child Hua was speaking in concern as she treated Kuan-Yin as a dear sister, "Is her hurting you in any way?"

"Chen is annoying like a pest! He keeps trying to keep all living male creatures away from whether human or not," Kuan-Yin dipped on the tea that filled her mouth with deliciousness, "But, he cares for me when I'm injured or in a mental breakdown." She smiled gently.

Chu Hua seeing her sister happily with the man that she chose to live for the rest of her life gave her relief beyond compare. Hong-Li became fussy as he was hungry, he was old enough that he could eat mushy food. "How old is Hong Li? He has gotten so much bigger from when I last saw him." Kuan-Yin gently took Hong-li from Chu Hua's arm.

"During the period when you left your brother in charge of the province is and you travelling has been about 6 months now," Chu Hua concentrated in thinking about roughly in months as she wasn't the type to know specific dates. Chu Hua suddenly when running off somewhere holding her mouth. Kuan-Yin doctor intuition decided to follow her with Hong-Li in her arms. Once, Kuan-Yun reached her destination to where Chu Hua stopped. Chu Hua was above the toilet emptying out the contents of her stomach. "I'm so sorry that you had to see that." Chu Hua sat on the floor her skin pale from emptying the food she consumed earlier.

Kuan-Yin examined her stomach looking for the cause for the vomiting then she smiled. "Have you been vomiting in the mornings lately? Are you moody swing worse? Are you always craving food?"

Chu Hua nodded to confirm Kuan-Yin's suspicions. "Is there something wrong with me? Oh please don't tell me I have an incurable disease!"

Kuan-Yin laughed at Chu Hua's last statement, "No No No you don't have an incurable disease," Kuan-Yin wiped away the tears and both men who were fighting against each other came in.

"Wife are you alright? The servants told me you vomited again," Kuan-Bai held Chu Hua's hand affectionately. "Yin'er were you able to find why she is so sick?"

Yin'er smiled at the couple, "I am to be an Auntie for another two more children!" The trio didn't understand her words until Chu Hua finally realised what Yin'er meant by her words.

"I'm pregnant with twins?" Chu Hua asked and Kuan-Yin nodded her head excitedly. Kuan-Bai hugged his wife as gentle as possible so that he wouldn't harm the child his wife was carrying.

"Wow, I can't believe how fast you are having children already. You are Hong-Li who is basically a toddler now and you already having more." Kuan-Yin shook her head in defeat obviously impressed with the speed of reproduction was for the two of them.

"Wifey you shouldn't be so concerned with other when we have kids soon," Chen grinned cheekily

Kuan-Yin blushes instantly, "The only kids you will have are the one that eats grass and say baaa," she stormed out of the room to get away from the infuriating man. She walked around the house to inspect any sort of problems to could occur in the future however she hadn't found any problems.

As the day darkens signifying the ending of the day the people in the estate began decorating and preparing of the feast in celebration of the children Chu Hua was carrying. Kuan-Yin was inspecting the foods that were been presented in the feast whether Chu Hua can consume them since she was in a delicate time period of being pregnant. "No she can't have raw seafood, the meat has to be fully cooked and replace the fatty soup with this herbal soup." She was cooking up lost of the dishes as she was considering Chu Hua but also referred for the rest of the guest that were invited the villager in the province. She had finished cooking a lot of food most people couldn't be able to make in one day. The feast had an array of dishes; plump juicy dumpling with numerous fillings, sticky rice with mixed fillings, succulent jiggly meat dishes, fresh and crispy vegetables, delicious and hearty soups, sweet but delicate desserts and many other foods that were foreign.

Many people were happily eating the delicious foods that were cooked. Chu Hua was eating the delicious food that was presented in the feast, "Yin'er you are the best cook, " Chu Hua bought another dumpling into her mouth once she bit into the tender skin of the dumpling the hot broth inside busted out washing her mouth with hearty feeling and the meat inside was juicy and meaty, "I wish I could eat thisevery day, "

Kuan-Yin stared at the happy expression of everyone eating the food she had cooked for them, "If you eat this every day you will gain weight," her heart lit up at the happy expression of everyone around her.

"Oh I don't care if I get fat," Chu Hua happily continued to eat the foods, "What this strange food?"

Kuan-Yin smiled saying nothing of the food. It was a dish she learnt in the foreign lands, it was a rice dish that is wrapped in pastry that was invented by the Northern Foreigner.

The Four Mainlands

Northern Foreign Lands

Eastern Foreign Lands

Southern Foreign Lands

Western Foreign Lands

The reason why they are called Foreign Lands is that they are separated by large seas. The Northern Foreign lands had people who were had tanned skin, strongest built out of all the Foreign Lands and are well known for their exotic entertainment. The eastern people are fairer skin with much leaner built and are well known for their long history of knowledge and elegance. The Western Foreign Land has people with light skin tone with a medium built between a Northerner and an Easterner and their well known for their magic and naturally colourful hair. The Southern Lands are more mysterious however a couple of people have discovered that mostly humanoid demonic beast lived there in harmony and there are well known for their superior abilities and otherworldly beauty.

Everyone was curious about this dish and watched Chu Hua eat the dish. "Sister use your hands that's the best way to eat it!" Kuan-Yin picked one up and ripping it in half exposing the fragrant cooked rice with an unfamiliar aroma that seems to quench their appetite. Chu Hua followed Kuan-Yin's example and ripped the strange food in half. Steam and aroma burst open like a package increasing her hunger to eat the wrapped rice. The exterior was crunchy and flaky like a biscuit but it wasn't sweet like a traditional sweet. The rice was soft and mushy making it easier to eat and the flavour of this dish was incredible nothing like she had eaten before. The mushy rice hadn't made the crunchy exterior soggy which was incredible until she realised the crunch from the exterior was in fact cabbage.

After seeing Chu Hua happily eating her portion everyone else started to eat the dish without hesitation. Soon, all the food in the feast was demolished it was as if a typhoon has swept past.

Chu Hua was thoroughly satisfied with the feast as she was eating another of the same dish she ate earlier. "Yin'er this has got to be the best one I have eaten so far," Chu finished the dish, "What's it called?" Chu Hua was very curious about the origin of this food.

Kuan-Yin finished eating her portion, "It's curry bread," Kuan-Yin, however, was disappoint with the dish, "I wish I could have the spice from the Northern Lands to make this properly. This was disappointing the ingredients I wished I could have aren't available in the Southern Lands and I had to substitute them with other ingredients." She sulked unhappily at her food predicament.

Everyone who unfortunately heard this was shocked, to say the least,        because the 'curry bread' they had eaten was incredibly delicious however because the ingredients she was able to get was substituted with local ingredients. They wanted to spit blood for her comment on the delicious dish however they thought if she had the right ingredients how would the dish taste? There could only imagine the taste as they drooled.

"Yin'er I need to talk to you privately," Kuan-Bai took his sister away to a more private room so they could talk.

"What is it Da ge? Is Chen causing you trouble?" Kuan-Yin was slightly worried if her brother wanted to talk to her in private.

"Have you seen any patients with scales?" Kuan-Bai asked sternly.

Kuan-Yin however never seen a patient with scales so she could only shake her head. Kuan-Yin took his clothes off until his waist showing her patchy dark navy scales were growing on Kuan-Bai's skin. They were growing in clusters randomly in different areas of his skin. Kuan-Yin probed at the scales examining them closely, the scales effortlessly such to attach on his skin as if he were growing them.

"Could you find anything about this weird condition?" Kuan-Bai was frustrated with the added problem on his list.

Kuan-Yin stood up straight from her previous examination position, "There are only three possible reasons why you are having this weird condition. The first reason you have been afflicted by a disease that makes you grow these scales. The second reason you have offended a divine deity by accident and they have cursed you. Finally, my third reason though I highly doubt it is that we have inherited this trait from mother because father is definitely a hundred per cent human leaving out mother for speculation." Kuan-Yin finished her theories that she could think of.

Kuan-Bai concentrated in his past to see whether he had done any of the above. "The second reason we can eliminate because I have never been in contact with a divine deity. The disease wouldn't wouldn't be a reason because they had been no history on this type of disease in the North Fa Continent." Kuan-Bai sternly thought about the last theory that could be reasonable especially because of the disappearance of their mother.

"I think the final reason is the only explanation of this condition." Kuan-Bai put his clothes back on.

"When did you realise you got this condition?" Kuan-Yin wasn't quite sure when he got their skin condition.

Kuan-Yin focused hard to remember the date, "About 3 weeks being in the North Fa Continent. The weather was extremely hot and dry my skin started to grow scales." He explained the beginning of the growth of his scales, "At first they were soft and then they started to harden."

Kuan-Yin was worried for her brother could this mean something? Was there a family secret Kuan-Bai and herself never knew about? "Da ge how about you and I visit father?"

They both agreed to visit their father back in the South Ming Continent. Kuan-Yin planned to return back to travelling once she found the truth out.
