Enticing scents of tea wafted around the room where Susu was making treats for the visitors that were coming over. The visitors were the emperor, her father and another mysterious guest, but she didn't know who it was. Kuan-Yin's door opened to find her three guests, the Emperor, her father and a mysterious woman walked into the room. "Kuan-Yin greets Emperor, " Kuan-Yin bowed to the emperor in respects.

"Kuan-Yin greets Father, " Kuan-Yin bowed towards her father in respects for raising her.

"Yin'er meet the master of the Ghost Sect, she wanted to invite you to her sect where you can become a disciple and cultivate." the Emperor introduced the woman.

"Kuan-Yin, my name is Zhi Rou, I want to formally invite you to become my disciple." Zhi Rou enchanting voice was pleasing to the ear but Kuan-Yin knew her intentions were.

"I am sorry to inform you but I have already joined a sect around and I'm already a disciple to my master,"   Kuan-Yin bowed in apology to the woman, "I will have to refuse your offer but I am willing to make an alliance between our two sects and we can exchange materials and information with each other."

"What sect did you join?" She felt offended but she didn't show it on her face, her sect was one of the top 100 sects.

"Jingwei Sect," Kuan-Yin replied to the woman's questions. The other woman was shocked and nearly fell backwards, "Why is your reaction so strong for?"

Zhi Rou straightened herself up and composed herself to not embarrass herself any further, "I am willing to make an alliance but we will need to look over some condition so it will benefit the both of us," She was rushing to agree to the deal which was strange, to say the least. But, at least we have another ally on our side to help with the plan.

"I, Tang Kuan-Yin are willing to make an alliance with you but we will arrange a meeting to oversee the conditions for both sects, "  Kuan-Yin bowed to the woman.

"How have you been Yin'er?" Kuan-Yin's father asked worried about her wellbeing since she had not been in the household.

"Father, I am well, " she patted her father's hand as a means to relieve his stress, "Master Zhong is treating me well and my sect is very welcoming. Your majesty her are some of my servant's sweets. Try some, " Kuan-Yin beckoned her guest to try Susu's sweet that she had made.

The three guest enjoyed the complimentary sweets with the tea that accompanied them, "What tea is it? It has such a flowery fragrance but it had a slightly sour taste that I don't recognise." Zhu was amazed at the delicious tea that complimented the sweets.

"Hibiscus tea, it's not native here but I grow some in my garden, very beautiful and makes a great tea for hotter seasons, " Kuan-Yin was delighted with her choice of hibiscus tea, "Hibiscus tea is known for many health benefits such as managing blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, protecting the liver, anti-cancer properties, Anti-inflammatory and Antibacterial agents, relieving menstrual pain, improves digestion, Satiates thirst and weight loss." Kuan-Yin listed the many health benefits of the tea.

"Emperor, Father what is the reason  you have come to visit me," Kuan-Yin turned to face the two men, "You can't just be introducing Zhi Rou unless you are here for another reason."

"Yes i'm here for another reason, I want you decide whether you will have a title of princess, " the Emperor sipped the tea in delight, "You are a like a niece to me since your mother and I are sworn siblings, you will be able to receive permission to enter the palace, you will have VIP access to events and many other benefits from being a titled princess." He smiled at Kuan-Yin.

The other two were shocked, being a titled princess was a privilege and being a titled princess was of higher status than an actual princess of the royal family. "Kuan-Yin accepts your majesty gift, " Kuan-Yin bowed in acceptance for the grand gift from the Emperor, "Can my title be secret because it will be troublesome when known to the public, but instead can I had a use the same black jade pendant to identify myself as a titled princess?" Kuan-Yin thought thoroughly of this offer.

The Emperor chuckled at the intelligence of the young 15 year old girl which stood in front of him, "Why did you think I gave you that black jade pendant?" he was content with Kuan-Yin behaviour which was familiar to his sworn sister, "That black jade is one of a kind and I will notify my people."

"Thank you, your majesty, " Kuan-Yin bowed again. Susu came in with a container with sweets in them and some tea bags of hibiscus, "Take these as gifts, " her three guests all received the beautifully wrapped gifts from Susu, each design of the wrap had beautifully intricate designs which decorated the wrapper, each of them was unique to the receiver.

The emperor and Kuan-Yin's father both left the alchemist institution and Zhi Rou was left with Kuan-Yin. "When would you like to make an appointment to discuss our conditions?"

"Will tomorrow be okay?" Zhi Rou was fiddling with her fingers, "Is Jiangsu doing okay?"

"Why are you mentioning Jiangsu now? Do you have an interest with him?" Kuan-Yin was curious now, but Zhi Rou was blushing but Kuan-Yin could relate with her. Zhi Rou was only a few years older than her and Jiangsu wasn't that much older than her either, so it should work out unless there was a situation.

"Well Jiangsu and I were lovers but my father had made an arranged marriage and the person I'm marrying is stronger in both power and money and Jiangsu had to give up, but I don't want to give up just yet, " Zhi Rou was passionately in love in Jiangsu

"So who is the person marrying you?" Kuan-Yin was curious about this love situation between her sworn brother and Zhi Rou.

"The crown prince of North Fa Continent, Hu Nian, " Zhi Rou sighed, "he is merciless and cruel, apparently he kills his new brides and decorated his room with them."

"North Fa Continent? Is there anything special there?" Kuan-Yin's search for the spider lily was slow but Zhi Rou could be able to help her.

"There is a beautiful Red Spider Lily apparently no one has succeed in harvesting it because of the danger it posed to any cultivator which lacks knowledge of harvesting the mysterious plant, " Zhi Rou sipped on the tea again, "Apparently, the spider lily grows from the blood of strongest female cultivator named Lian Diayu." Zhi Rou sighed again and drank the drank only to find that it was empty, so she poured another cup for herself.

This was it, Zhi Rou had helped her find the location of the Spider Lily, her powers. "I will be able to help you, in return you take me to the North Fa Continent," Kuan-Yin was determined to help Zhi Rou and get her powers back. Zhi Rou discusses about tomorrow's meeting at Jingwei sect. Kuan-Yin had to make preparations for her journey and think of a plan to help Zhi Rou get out of the marriage.

Kuan-Yin blew a silent instrument into the air. A shadow dashed into the room and knelt I front of his master, "The Red Spider Lily is located in the Ah Ling province," Fan stood up and report the North Fa Prince was interested in the flower because he wanted to give it to his new bride.

"Good job, Fan I want you to keep an eye on the North Fa Royal family and report the members to me," Kuan-Yin turned her back, "Dismissed,"

Fan dashed away in a shadow to the North Fa Continent. Kuan-Yin went to cultivate for the few of the day, so she drank the cultivation pill formulation. She continued to cultivate herself until her reach Bronze Dou King and she didn't want to continue anymore. She decided to go to the crystal lake to swim because swimming was a way to relieve stress and take things out of her mind.

She had design robes for swimming so that she would freely swim in water. She had already trained herself to breathe for long periods of time underwater, she thought that not that many people knew how to swim. She was able to see under water where the crystals grew underwater, the crystals encrusted themselves on the rocky shelves that people would have never seen before. The crystals had a beautiful sheen that was reflected by the moonlight that penetrated through the crystal clear water, which manage to reach deep waters. She was starting to lose breath but it wasn't urgent but she swam up to the surface to breathe, she dried herself with a cloth she had placed near the lake. She squeezed the water out of her hair, "I nearly thought you would drown after being there so long," a familiar voice echoed, Chen revealed himself from the shadows of the forest.

"Chen!" Kuan-Yin was shocked, and fell down back into the water. She had gotten her cloth wet and she  had nothing to dry herself with. Chen chuckled, he walked over to her and picked her up despite getting his clothes wet from Kuan-Yin being drenched, "Chen let me go! You are going to catch a cold!"

"And you're not going to catch a cold?" He smirked, but he carried the other items to the alchemist institute. He had dropped her off to her room and leave but Kuan-Yin stopped him, "You miss me already?" He teased her

"No, come inside your clothes are wet," Kuan-Yin removed her hair tie, "There is a pile of clothes in that cupboard you can change into." Kuan-Yin went into the bathroom to have bath. She had added a liquid which changed the bath water to milky colour and helps with dry skin. She soaked in the water for a while and changed into a new set of sleeping robes. Chen was laying in her bed with a matching set of sleeping robes, probably sleeping.

Kuan-Yin went to put the blanket over his body but he pull her in the bed with him. His broad frame was like perfect size for her to fit in, the muscles under the clothing were solid and firm, "Chen! let me go! We can't be sleeping together!," Kuan-Yin whispering to him, careful not to make too much noise.

"Why can't we sleep together? We are going to be husband and wife soon," he snuggled into her hair feeling the silky touch on his face. Kuan-Yin continued to try to pry his grip around her away.
"I am yet to marry you meaning I'm still unmarried, " Kuan-Yin continued to struggle, "Chen! Let me go!" after so many futile attempts to escape Kuan-Yin just stopped bothering to try. She just laid in his embrace, his resonating heart was like sleeping lullaby to her and she soon fell asleep. She felt a soft touch on her forehead but she knew it was Chen but she didn't care at this point she was tired.

The beautiful girl that slept beside him was like a goddess, each time he saw her, his heart would race and his limbs would move by themselves to wrap then around her. She had been able to move this heart despite her subtle beauty that was hidden among many who were like dull gems. She was a black jade among the green and white jades, one that was different but beautiful. She was his black jade and no one else's.
