🌠 Chapter 9: First time detention 🌠

I woke up the next morning with a gigantic smile on my face, why was I happy? Well blame it on Matthew

Yes the one and only Matthew knight, the thoughts of yesterday came flooding back, the time where I was literally dying of laughter

After getting out of bed I proceeded to get changed, I picked out some jeans a loose white blouse and a baggy green cardigan which fitted perfectly together

Seeing as I was going for the whole lazy-but-still-wanna-look-good-look, no this isn't picked by me actually, a few weeks back during summer break

Ven came over and sorted half my clothing problems!, thank you to her

After putting my outfit on I fixed my hair letting my waves reveal at the bottom, I didn't bother to put make up on,

I mean who am I gonna impress?

I headed downstairs to be greeted by mom who looked like she was about to leave

"Hey honey, I made breakfast, I'll be back late tonight, big case" she said as she put her shoes on

"k mom I'll see you then" I said with a flying kiss, she gave one back before heading out the door

Great I'm all alone and I'm 20min early for school, I walked over to the countertop and saw some waffles out fresh

Awww my mother was so nice!, I quickly gobbled up the waffles before checking my phone

'Hmm strange ven should have called by now' I thought while I put my plate on the sink and washed it,

After a while I realized I had 5min to go till school started, so I just quickly put on some sneakers, before bringing my bag out to my jeep

Yay! Beloved jeep i am here now! I said as I plopped myself on the leather seat, ahh I missed my car so much, I quickly put on my seatbelt and turned on the engine,

Before heading into school, I was still disappointed that ven hadn't called or texted me, which she would have normally done,

I walked over to my locker with my glum face,
I did have to say it is an ugly face,

quickly stuffing my books into my locker, I shut it in anger I was getting hot headed,

"Getting hot in there?" A familiar voice said, I looked to see who it was, Matthew casually strolling along with his minions,

I could hear some gasps and whispers going around, 'arghhh!'

I just wanted to stick my fist down his throat!

Suddenly felt really weird and I felt the heat rapidly appear on my cheeks, sh*t I was blushing, crap crap crap

A small smirk creeped on his lips

I smiled weakly at him before snapping myself out of this state, I pathetically rolled my eyes and he continued to walk down

The whispers and gasps soon faded and all that was left were evil glares from most of the girls who had witnessed the scene,

Arghh, had I fell for his charm? I thought I was immune to this boy virus, I guess not, might need to go to the doctors again,

I turned back to my locker mentally face palming myself, but I jumped back in surprise,

It was Juliana, A small smiled tugged on my lips I mean it's good to see a friend after my best friend didn't call me or text

"So what brings you here?" I ask nicely

She wiggled her eyebrows at me and smirked evilly, I am yet more confused then ever

Obviously she realized I didn't get her message, she started looking behind me and then to me and she repeated that twice

I looked behind me, in a far corner I could see Matthew talking to a guy, I whipped my head back around, my eyes widened

She was wiggling her eyebrows again, "oh my goodness!, Stop doing that!" I said after I realized what she meant

I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the nearest empty classroom, where I started lecturing her

Her curious mood suddenly changed into a grumpy one, "arghh come on, I came to talk to you, not get lectured" she said in annoyance

I looked over at her
Did she really say those 12 words? OMG Juliana finally talked!
My eyes widened

She looked at me as if I grew 2 heads, "don't be surprised, I'm just intrigued" she said as she sat on a desk

I put a serious face on, "I don't like charades you know" I said ignoring the silence "pfff" she mumbled

"Now tell me, what did you see?" I asked in a detective tone taking a step closer

"Hmmm, you and Matthew at the park yesterday" she said looking at her nails, "and?" I asked, "everything until you left" she said with a soft sigh

"Wait were you stalking me?" My voice echoed through the empty room, "me? Puh-lease" she said snorting at the comment

"Then why were you there?" I asked even more perplexed, "well hmmm wait for every answer I give you you give me something about you and Matthew" she said not looking at me

"Pfff, what?" I asked, "come on the way you looked at him yesterday, looked like you knew him years ago" she said without stopping

Oh crap she was looking into this even more, no one knew about my past, they just thought that I lived a happy life the end, not even my best friend knew

It happened before we met, we as in me and Matthew, before Venxia came along, only 2 people knew about what happened, why should I trust Juliana?

"Hello? Earth to dani" Juliana said snapping me out of my thoughts, "oh sorry" I mumbled

"So what? What's between you and Matthew?" She asked once again, I was about to answer until I got cut off by the bell

Thank goodness the bell saved me from having to tell this dreadful news to Juliana, "sorry go to go" I said as I zoomed out of the class

"Wait Dani!" I heard her shout

Hmmm should I wait for her or nahh

Am I gonna risk being late for class for her?

I gave it a long thought, before realizing someone was tapping my shoulder, "dani?" I looked at the girl in front of me

And I causally said hi,

Stupid dani, it's freakin Juliana again, say something else freak!

But unfortunately I didn't listen to my subconscious and smiled at her

"Are you okay Dani?" She asked in concern, "no why wouldn't I be?" I said it came out more like a question then a statement

What is wrong with you dani?

"Meet me at the same park as me and you know who later after school" I said ignoring my stupidity before rushing to class,

I did my routine which consisted of lazily putting my butt on the chair and taking my pencil case and maths book out

"nice to see you again Cortez". I turned my head around to face this stupid egotistic boy

A small smirk creeped on his lips "what do you want?" I asked coldly, he put his hand under his chin and pretended to think

Thanks to Matthew I'm having a freakin fight with my subconscious

"Dani? Dani?" I snapped back as soon as I heard my name "what's with you and zoning out?" He asked in a curious tone

I mean yeah of course he had the right to be curious being the person I am, I overthink

"umm...n-othing" I said turning my attention back to the front, "hey who sits next to you?" He asked again

I rolled my eyes, no one ever sat next to me in maths, they found me creepy,
"Sooo?" He asked, his Voice was annoying the crap out of me,

"No one" I said shooting him a million daggers

"Well then I'm gonna sit next to you" he said without permission

'Nooooo' the world gonna end!

as you know I'd rather sit next to anyone in the school even trinity

Wait no I take that back, maybe I'd rather sit next to Matthew then trinity that be-yotch shall never talk to me

Before I realised Matthew had plonked himself next to me, and turned his head to me

He then shuffled his chair closer to mine so our arms were touching,

'Im gonna die! I just want to say I love everyone in the world except Matthew and trinity and Stephanie!"

I shut my eyes hoping that Matthew wouldn't do anything else, then mr conroy came in "good morning class!"

"Sup mr conroy!" "Yo teacher" a whole bunch of incoherent greetings were passed to mr conroy, he gave the class a glare before continuing

"Pss, psss" Matthew was whispering I ignored him, "dani hello?" He continued to piss me off

I clenched my jaw and my hands turned into fists, "dani?" He said obviously trying to get my damn attention,

"WHAT?" I shouted loud enough for the classroom 2 blocks down to hear, everyone's eyes shot to me

I felt the heat radiate in my cheeks, but the anger was boiling inside, "Miss Cortez detention now" mr conroy said sternly

I stood up from my desk and gathered my items, I could hear evil chuckles from beside me, I turned to Matthew and glared at him

He smirked back not offended by my action, I slinged my bag on my back and turned my heel towards the door,

Was he gonna save me?, was he going to be nice for once?

But no Matthew didn't, I just went straight out the door, arghhhh I just hate this!

I walked towards the detention room, like seriously detention on my first week back, like I just hate hate this!
