Chapter 20

Violet's POV

I woke up with a massive headache and a crick in my neck. I scanned the room and took a deep breath when I saw the walls. They were covered in pictures. All the pictures were of me. I was everywhere. If there was anybody else in the pictures, their faces were scratched off. There was even some of me from the day I got kidnapped. I was smiling, crying, frowning, or laughing in all of these pictures. Whoever took these never missed a moment of my day; they must have been constantly following me. They even have pictures of Jaiden and me in our own room, pictures of things that nobody should have of my mate and me.

I was too caught up in the pictures, but I should have paid more attention to my surroundings; the next thing I realize is someone violently wrapping their arms around my waist. I jump 10 feet in the air before whipping around.

"Hey princess, no need to act so surprised," David smirked before leaning in for a kiss. I quickly turn my head so that his lips meet my cheek instead. This causes a loud growl to echo from his chest, he grabs my face in his hands and forces me to look at him. "You will not turn away from me. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" he growled loudly and shook me slightly. I didn't say anything; I just looked into his eyes and spit directly at his face.

"Why don't you keep your voice down?" I whisper menacingly. He slapped me hard across the face and pushed me to the floor.

"You little skank. You don't tell me what to do! I am an Alpha, and you are only a human! You will respect me!" he growled angrily and narrowed his eyes at my laughing.

"Oh my bad, I must have forgotten to mention that I left my last fuck to give at home," I teased, and laughed more as his eyes narrowed. I just needed to buy time until somebody rescues me, or I escape. I also decided that telling him that I was a werewolf would not be the best decision. If he doesn't know, then he won't take proper precautions and I may have a fighting chance.

"I don't know what has gotten into you, but you need to fix it before I have to do it myself." He gripped me by the throat when my only reply was rolling my eyes, "Are you purposefully trying to get yourself killed? Why are you provoking me?" he questions and lovingly strokes my face. I try to turn my face away but his grip is too tight.

"Jaiden, please hurry baby, I'm scared." I mind-linked Jaiden, praying that he could hear me.

"Now that your stupid sister is too involved with her mate, I won't have to worry about her anymore" David smirked. Daemon! I can mind-link him!

I try pushing my words into Daemons head, but it was a little more difficult than I originally thought. I had never mind-linked any one else but Jaiden. I remember him telling me that mid-linking a mate was a little bit different then mind-linking a pack member.

I try to shove past the barrier that I kept meeting, but it wasn't working. It was giving me an awful headache. It shouldn't be this hard should it? Surely Jai would've mentioned it if it was.

"I hope you like you room, I got my personal designers to create it just for you." David gestured around the room and smirked. He knew how much this freaked me out, the fact that nothing was really private like I thought it was. He knew everything that I had done, everybody that I had seen. He knew everything, except that I was a werewolf. I was saving that information for the right time. That is the only defense I had against him and I was going to need all that I could get.

Daemon's POV

"Alpha? Luna? Where are you?" I called out, looking around their abandoned house. "Is this a joke Jaiden? You know you have that big meeting with the other alphas today!" I said exasperated and made my way into their kitchen. I paused a couple steps in and noticed the wreckage. There was broken glass on the floor and cabinets open; I looked like a tornado hit it. I noticed something on the ground and bent down to retrieve it. "What is this?" I mutter to myself as I study it. As soon as I register that it was a tulip I know exactly who has them.

"THE ALPHA AND LUNA HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE ON HIGH ALERT. GUARDS, COME TO THEIR HOUSE IMMEDIATELY." I broadcast through the pack link frantically. Where were the guards that watched over them, and made sure the house was secure? I ran to the back bedroom and threw open their door. The three guards were lying on the ground in a pool of their own blood. Why would David do this?

I threw my walls up in my mind, I needed to focus on the task at hand. I didn't need anyone trying to mind link me and distracting me. Not only was Nicole going to be devastated that her sister was gone, but the entire pack was going to be in shambles. We had to come up a plan and quickly.

I quickly get Cole over to the house and we hatch a plan. We would make David think he won, make him think that he had killed everyone, and when he let his guard down? That's when we would attack.
