Chapter 11:

"YOU DON'T NEED TO COME" I screamed

"YES I DO! DAVID COULD BE WAITING FOR YOU!" Jai screamed back

We were currently screaming about him demanding that he come with me to go to the local pharmacy. He apparently does not trust my strength enough and apparently expects me not to fight back against my attackers. I may not be a furry creature like him, but that does not mean that I can't protect myself against perverts.

"ARE YOU FORGETTING THAT HE'S AFTER YOU TO!" I scream back

"I COMMAND YOU NOT TO GO ALONE." He yelled using his Alpha tone, pissing me off more.

"I'm human, your 'alpha voice' doesn't work on me." I said calmly, which he should take as a warning that I'm seriously pissed now

"I just don't want you to get hurt," He sighed and ran his fingers through his dark chestnut hair before pulling me into a hug.

"I don't care about you coming with me, I just want you to trust me." I mumble exhausted, and bury my face into his chest. I don't know if it's the mating bond, but whenever I fight with him I feel guilty, like I shouldn't argue with him and I can see that he feels the same.

"I do trust you, I just want you to be safe and the only way that I can guarantee that is if I go with you," He murmured and kissed the top of my head, making me smile into his chest, "So can we agree to disagree?" He asked.

"I guess I can manage that" I said teasingly

"Umm Hmm" He murmured against my hair, "We need to talk about something." He says quietly

"If it's gonna start another argument then save it for later" I groaned when I saw him grimce.

"You know when I marked you?" I nodded in reply, how could I forget? "Well since I've now marked you, you're going to be going into heat in a day or two..."

"What exactly is heat?" I ask dangerously, daring him to tell me what I think he is about to.

"Basically you'll be craving me in more ways than one..." He mumbled under his breath.

"And let me guess, it will also come with uncontrollable lust?" I take one look at his face and know that I hit the nail. "I guess I will be taking a lot of cold showers, but you are not getting laid."

"You can't be serious?" He said, starting to laugh but quickly covered it up with a cough after seeing my glare. I raise my eyebrow at him, making him pale slightly.

"I'm sorry, does it look like I'm joking?" I can fell the deadly glare on my face.

"No of course not, I am sorry that I laughed at you." He quickly scrambles for my forgiveness, knowing that I am not afraid to make him sleep on the couch.

"Surely there are other ways of battling the heat," I question, and for the first time I am slightly afraid of what he is about to say.

"There are, nothing like the actual deed, but they can help." Jaiden looks me mischievously for a second before continuing, "Lets make a deal, if you can make it through this heat without having sex with me, I'll be your slave for a week. But if you give in, you have to be my slave for a week." He smirked at me.

"Deal" I said smirking right back at him and held out my hand for him to shake.

"Oh no butter cup, we seal the deal with a kiss" He teased before pulling me into a heart melting kiss that left me wanting more.

"Will you give me a tour of the house?" I change the subject, still feeling slightly breathless. Jaiden gives me a smirk, noticing my lack of breath.

"Anything for you," He doesn't even wait till the blush has completely left my cheeks before he starts trying to seduce me. This is going to be a long heat.
