Chapter 2

My eyes widened in shock as I gazed at the large wolf before me. It was evident that he was an Alpha due to the signature black fur and large size that all alphas had. He was snarling ferociously at me, splashes of drool hitting my face.

"Ugh you got drool all over me!" I shrieked as I arose from the floor and glared at the alpha.

He definitely didn't like how I was speaking to him and growled at me once again, causing me to smirk. "What? You expect me to cower away in fear just because you're an alpha? I don't think so."

That seemed to piss him off even more and before I could blink, he charged after me, but before he could law a paw on me, another black wolf emerged from the trees and I instantly knew that it was my mate coming to my rescue.

He growled at the other alpha ferociously while I just stood there watching the altercation go down. The other alpha growled back and the two just stood there staring each other down for quite a while. They seemed to be talking to each other through their minds, which left me confused and eager to know what they were discussing.

The two backed away from each other and next thing I knew they were both back in their human forms, standing naked before me. I felt my cheeks heat up as I shrieked and turned away from them.

"Some clothes would be nice!" I grumbled, hearing my mate laughing behind me.

"Like what you see?" he chuckled.

"I didn't see anything," I semi-lied. I only caught a glimpse of his muscular ass before I turned away. He had a pretty good ass.

"You can turn back around now," my mate said and I obliged, immediately observing him and the other alpha, who were now wearing a pair of basketball shorts.

His facial features were very rugged and sharp, almost similar to my mate. I looked between the two and realized the slight resemblance between them.

"Niall, what were you doing? Are you trying to scare off my mate," my mate yelled at him.

"Scared? She was far from scared. You should've seen how she was mouthing me off. That's one hell of a mate you got there," Niall said as he eyed me up and down.

"Got that right," I grumbled, returning the same look he was giving me.

"And this is not a proper way to greet your brother now, is it?" Niall said, tilting his head as he stared at my mate whose name I had yet to find out.

My mouth hung open slightly. They're brothers? What the hell? No wonder they resembled each other.

Niall picked up on my confused expression and laughed. "You should tell her what's really going on. It's not good to keep secrets away from your mate."

"Niall, now is not the time," my mate warned his brother.

"No, I think it's the perfect time, Nathan," Niall replied with a smile on his face, finally revealing my mate's name.

"Perfect time for what?" I snapped, my voice filled with confusion as I tried to comprehend what was going on between the two brothers. What secrets was Nathan withholding from me?

Niall snapped his gaze towards mine and smiled. "You got yourself a feisty one there, Nathan."

"Can you stop with the constant smiling? It's fuçking-" I began but Nathan covered my mouth before I could utter another word.

"Language," Nathan growled lowly in my ear, causing me to shiver.

"If you don't mind, we'll be leaving now," Nathan glared at his brother before grabbing my hand and leading me out of the forest.

"I can't even get to know her name?! Niall shouted after us.

"Oh shut up! You sound like a love struck boy shouting after his ex girlfriend for her to take him back," I shouted back after him.

"Delilah, do you like pissing off alphas?" Nathan growled at me.

"Maybe I do," I smirked mischievously.

"What am I going to to with you?" Nathan sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"You can let me leave so I can go back home," I suggested, even though I already knew what his answer was going to be.

"No. You're mine and I'm not letting you go," Nathan growled as he pulled me into his chest.

"What was that back there?" I asked curiously as I stared up at him.

"It was nothing. Don't listen to my brother," Nathan dismisses the question.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "It didn't seem like nothing. What secrets were he talking about?"

"Nothing you need to worry about," he suddenly snapped. Not liking the tone in his voice, I pulled away from him.

"Douche," I mumbled.

"I'm not a douche, apple bottom," Nathan chuckled at me.

"What kind of nickname is that? If you call me that again I'm going to—" I began but was interrupted by the sounds of child like laughter and talking coming from outside of Nathan's estate.

"Who's that?" My curiosity got the best of me as Nathan grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the estate. Once we arrived, I saw numerous people and children in the driveway and their heads immediately snapped towards me.

I began to grow nervous under their hard gazes. There were lots of whispers and gasps as they gazed at me as if I were the world's most prized possession.

"Luna!" One of the pack members suddenly screamed out loud, causing me to scream in shock also.

Before I could even move, a bunch of cute little kids cake running towards me and began hugging me and cheering. They are so adorable.

"That's enough kids. Get off the Luna before you hurt her." A woman randomly shouted, causing the children to whine and pout.

"But we want to play with the Luna." One of them pouted.

"I know. You will all get to play with her after you take your shower and eat. Okay?" the woman said and they all nodded their heads in unison. They all let go of me and ran into the house quickly. My eyes turned to the woman who was speaking to them as she approached me.

"Hi there, Delilah. I'm Nathan's mother. It's a pleasure to meet you," she said as she embraced me in a bone-crushing hug. My eyes slightly widened as I hugged her back. I wasn't expecting to meet Nathan's parents so soon.

"It's nice to meet you too," I laughed as she pulled away from the hug and smiled at me.

"Goodness, you're so beautiful. My son is very lucky to have you as his mate," his mother beamed with so much adoration, I couldn't help but smile back.

"Yes, he is." My voice was soft as my eyes flickered over to Nathan.

"I'm sure you want to meet the rest of the pack members. Come on inside and I'll introduce you to everyone," Nathan's mother said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the pack house. I sighed internally and prepared myself for the worst. Or it could be for the best. I didn't know what was going to happen. Would the other pack members like me? I was starting to get nervous, and it was a first because I never get nervous.

I watched silently as the rest of the pack members came inside the house, all of them sending me a warm smile as I waited in the side for Nathan to come in. After a while, he finally came inside and closed the door behind him.

"I don't think I ever got the chance to tell you how beautiful you are," Nathan suddenly said as he walked towards me, causing my cheeks to warm up as I blushed.

"No, you haven't, but thank you," I smiled at him.

"Let's go in the kitchen," Nathan grabbed my hand and gently led me towards a huge kitchen, where some of the pack members were already drinking and eating. I saw Nathan's mom alongside them and she gestured for me to sit down next to her on the island that was in the middle of the kitchen.

"I can't believe you finally found your mate, Nathan. I'm so happy for you! How exactly did you two meet?" Nathan's mom asked excitedly as Nathan sat down with us.

Nathan gave me a warning look and opened his mouth to speak, but I beat him to it, shooting him a mischievous smirk as I did so.

"He kidnapped me," I said casually which made Nathan's mother gasp in shock.

"He what?!" she yelled in shock, causing Nathan to shoot a murderous glare at me to which I ignored. He'll get over it.

I turned to his mother and explained the entire story to her. By the time I was finished, Nathan was shooting daggers at me and his mother's mouth was hung open in shock.

"Nathan, how dare you kidnap her? I raised you to better than that. You treat women with respect, not take them against their own will," his mom lectured him, earning a lot of agreements from some of the pack members that were listening in on the drama.

"She is so right," I nodded as I stood up and turned to Nathan, putting my hands on my hip as I pursed my lips at him.

"Nathan Alexander Daniels! What on earth has gotten into you? Since when do alphas kidnap their mates?" Nathan's mother yelled at him, lightly smacking him in the back of his head.

"Since today," he grumbled, earning a laugh from me.

"Why are you laughing? It's not funny," he glared at me.

"Because I can," I raised my eyebrows as I returned the glare.

"Nathan, we'll discuss this later. Now, let's party," his mother cheered, earning more cheers from the rest of the pack members. Once she left to go get a drink, Nathan came behind me and trailed his hands down my waist, making me involuntarily shiver at his scorching touch.

"You're going to pay for that," he whispered in my ear, his deep voice making goosebumps appear on my arms.

I tried not to show how he was really affecting me. "I'm not doing anything. You brought this upon yourself."

"As did you."

I inhaled sharply when I felt his hand trailing a little too close to my ass. "Nathan, there are people around!" I gasped as I turned around to glare at him.

"So what? You're mine," he growled as he pulled me closer to him.

Great. Now, he's going all possessive on me.

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes as I pulled away from him and walked over to the counter to pour myself a drink. As I'm taking a sip of fruit punch, a tall girl with blonde hair came up to me.

"Hi! I'm Avery," she greeted me with a smile.

"I'm Delilah," I returned the gesture.

She opened her mouth to say something else but stopped when something behind me caught her attention.

"What is it?" I questioned, confusion on my face.

She pointed behind me and I turned around to see a redhead gripping onto Nathan's arm a little too intimately for my liking. It didn't sit well with me and I found myself fuming.

"Hold this," I suddenly said to Avery as I practically slammed the cup into her hands, walking over to the redhead and glaring at her. Acknowledging my presence, she removed her hand from Nathan and stared at me with an arched eyebrow.

"Excuse me?" Her voice was filled with attitude as she spoke to me.

"You're excused."

"Babe, why is she staring at me like that? Who is she?" the redhead turned to Nathan who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here at the moment.

My eyes widened at her choice of words directed at my mate. "Babe?!"
