This is my first story on here, so lots of feedback would be great! ^_^

༡Chapter One༡

"So, do you have any experiance in this type of work, Mr..?"

"Silver. Jason Silver. And yes, my family has worked in the technology field for generations. My great-great-grandfather was one of the founders of the University for the Betterment of Humanity. He is also my namesake."

"I see. We will get back to you in a few days with our desicion. Until then, please feel free to stay in the hotel across the street." the directer said, making it clear with the tone of his voice that he didn't care ether way.

"I think I will. Thank you." replied Jason. He then got up and walked out to the street. As he walked, no one paid him any attention. He was five foot 11' with brown hair, blue eyes, and looked to be about twenty, so he didn't stand out much. The only thing about him that did stand out was the streak of silver over his left ear.

After he checked into the hotel, he got out a small camera and looked at the last picture he had taken.

"So, this is what you look like, Optolt. It seems you've your fathers looks." he said to himself, looking at a picture of a short man, about four foot ten. The man had light blond hair, a white suit, and dark brown eyes. The man looked to be in his 40's, but Jason knew that he was much, much older. The man had been 15 when his father died, after all, and that was over 100 years ago.

'Optolt...why did you stray so far from the path your father took? Why did you fuel the L.I.F.E. with human life, instead of pure energy like your father intended? And why did you compleat the L.I.F.E. in the first place?' thought Jason. 'But most of all, why did you destroy nature? Why did you destroy the beautiful, and

replace it with concrete?'
