I get out of my bed and walk to my closet for some clothes. I grab my black pencil skirt, white collared shirt, black tuxedo jacket, and black pointed heels. I quickly take a shower and change then walk down to the kitchen.

Sofia is cooking and everyone is watching her. "You have work today?" Dakota asks. "Ya I have one meeting so it will be quick, if you guys want to come you can." I say.

"I really want to see if your office is anything like Christian's." Eloise says. I laugh and Sofia hands me a cup of coffee. "So I'm guessing we have to go get clothes for everyone first." I say. "Well actually my manager dropped off our luggage today." Rita says. "Okay well the meeting starts at 12." I say. Everyone nods and walks to their room.

I wait on the couch and Jamie is the first one done. He's dressed sorta like Christian Grey. He's wearing a navy blue tuxedo jacket, blue collared shirt, grey jacket, jeans, and black shoes. I smile at him kindly and Jake appears in the door.

"You have a visitor." Jake says. "Show them in." I say. Jake nods and moves out the doorway and there stands my best friend from college. "Samantha Sanchez." I say and smile at her. "Oh damn." She says and she meets eyes with Jamie. I roll my eyes and she walks towards us. "How did you find a good looking man and I can't even get a man to stand two feet away from me." She asks and hugs me.

"Calm down, Jamie isn't my man." I say laughing. Samantha rolls her eyes and laughs. "Your kidding." She says. I shake my head and stare at her. "Well if you don't make a move soon I will." She says. I smile and turn to face Jamie.

"So Samantha why the sudden visit?" I ask. "I'm getting married and wanted you to be my bridesmate!" She says smiling bright. "You just said you can't even get a man to stand two feet away from you." I say laughing. "Ya because they're always on me." she says. I laugh again and nod. "Ya sure I'll do it." I say. "Okay good, I'll call you." She says. I nod and hug her once more before she leaves.

We get to my office, and everyone stares in amazed. "Carmen's Publishing Inc. Of Los Angeles, California. Has a good ring to it." Dakota says. "I guess." I say laughing.

We all walk in and my assistant greets us. "Miss. Carmen, Mr. Ortega is already here, and you have a visitor after." Amanda says. I nod and she hands me files about the meeting I have. "Amanda lead everyone to my office, the meeting with Mr. Ortega will be in the meeting room." I say and point to everyone. I hand her my office key and Amanda nods.

I walk out the meeting room and roll my eyes. Never in the world will I work with that annoying person, his work isn't even that great. Plus he's rude, and tried to get me to move the meeting to yesterday when I was at the premiere.

I walk into my office and everyone is on the couch talking. I smile at them and take off my jacket and hang it on the jacket rack.

"You have a nice view of Los Angeles." Dakota says. "Thank you." I say. "So how was the meeting?" Luke asks. "Boring." I say and sit in my desk chair. I grab my laptop and turn it on.

"What was it about?" Dakota asks. "Some guy wanting me to publish his book." I say and open one of my desk drawers taking out a pen. "And I'm guessing your going to get one of those big red stamps that read decline and your gonna stamp it on the paper with his writing." Rita says.

"Yes." I say and take out the stamp. Rita laughs and I finish up. "Okay I have a visitor but you guys can stay in here." I say. Everyone nods and begins to talk quietly.

"Amanda bring in my visitors." I say. Amanda nods and walks out my office. She then comes back with a guy and girl. They look like their in their 50's or 60's. I smile at them and stand up. "Hello I'm Eleanor Carmen." I say and shake their hands.

"She changed her last name." The girl whispers to the boy. I tilt my head, but don't ask questions. "So what can I do for you?" I ask, and point to the two chairs in front of my desk.

"I'm Mr. Calder and this is Mrs. Calder." The man speaks. I widen my eyes. Calder. "Amanda please get Jake." I say. "Now! Amanda!" I yell.

"Who's Jake?" My dad says, well not my dad anymore. I open my desk drawer and grab my gun I keep. "Why did you two come here?" I ask and stand up. "We just wanted to see our daughter." My mom says. "I'm not your daughter." I say serious.

Everyone stands up and Jake runs into my office. "What's wrong Miss. Carmen?" Jake asks running towards me. "I want them out of here." I say quickly. "Wait!" My dad yells. "We came to say we're sorry, and that we really loved you. We were just too young to take care of a child." My mom says.

"You guys left me for another daughter. It's clear. You didn't love a child like me. You lost a child like me." I say. "But we love you!" My dad yells. "But you want to use me. For what? I think we all know. The money." I say. "Don't you dare go there!" My mom yells. "I was 5 when I got my first 10 dollar bill. You took it away from me to buy something for yourself. You took it right out of my hand." I said. "When I was 8 I started working because you guys made me lie about my age for this dumb babysitting job. Just so you guys can use the money. Then I started keeping money. When I was 10 the day before you left me, you found all of it. It was about 500 dollars and you guys took all of it. Next day I woke up, you guys weren't there so yes, you tell me if that's love." I say. "Go ahead Jake take them." I say and turn to face my window and the view.

I start to cry as I get lost in the view. No one has ever lied to my face. "Honey, let's get you home." Dakota says and places her hand on my shoulder. A million goosebumps go down my body. "Your cold, here." Eloise says and hands me my jacket. I slip it on and close all my desk drawers. I push my chair in then lock my office door.

We get back to my house and everything feels different to me. Jake walks in and frowns. "Miss.Carmen, we found a gun in Mr.Calder's back pocket. I'm glad you called me." Jake says. I nod and sit down on my couch. Jamie sits down next to me and Rita on the other side of me. Dakota hands Jamie a blanket and Jamie wrap it around my shoulder, letting it fall around my whole body. "You don't eat don't you?" Jamie asks. "She only drinks coffee and sometimes she eats an apple." Dakota whispers to Jamie. "Your skinny, El you have to eat more." Rita says and touches my arm. I freeze and she removes her hand. "I need to change." I say and stand up.

I walk back downstairs changed into black skinny jeans and a white v-neck. "Simple but effective." Luke says. A small smile appears on my face and I sit back down where I was before. Jamie wraps the blanket around me again and Rita hands me a bowl of soup. I smile calmly before taking the spoon from Dakota and taking a bite.

I finish all the soup and Sofia takes the bowl to the kitchen. "I need to take a nap." I say. "You never take naps." Dakota says surprised. "Well I'll take one now." I say, shutting my eyes but open them back up. I realized I need to walk to my room. Jamie frowns when he sees me and looks at Dakota. She nods her head and Jamie carefully picks me with my blanket and walks me upstairs to my room.

He gently lays me on my bed and puts the blankets over me. He lays besides me and takes me surprised. "I'll just go." he says and stands back up. "No it's okay." I say. He smiles, and lays back down moving closer to me this time and wrapping his arm around me.

I wake up in Jamie's arms and everyone surrounding me but they're all sleeping. Dakota is sleeping in a chair, Rita is sleeping on a air mattress next to Luke, and Eloise is at the end of my bed. I frown that they all slept in here. I check the time and it's three in the afternoon. I stand up and walk out of the room. I enter the living room and stare at my guitar. I don't want to wake up anyone, so I don't pick it up. Instead I walk into my study and grab one of my favorite books. Looking For Alaska By John Green. I back out and enter my bedroom and lay back down on my bed and start to read the book.

An hour passes by and Jamie finally wakes up. He smiles and I stand up from the bed. He follows and I walk into the living room with him right by my side.

"Your very strong, Eleanor. You have that, and not so many people do. You look at everything and if it's broken you try to fix it. You can have a laugh, when things are bad but you can also be serious and times when you have to be. I like that about you." Jamie says looking down at me and even though I know he is I don't budge to look at him because if I do I might fall for those eyes or that shy smile he does. So I don't I just nod slowly and keep my smile small. "I get that a lot but I never heard the whole I like that about you." I say. "Well people should be telling you more. Like your eyes, I can stare at them all day. Your smile, is out of this world, and your laugh, it can make anyone's day. The way you talk smart to people, and use the word Mr, Mrs, or Miss, can turn someone on. The way you look serious when your doing business, or the face you do when you read or sleep. It's the little things that made me fall with you in the amount of time I've knew you." He says and lifts my chin up to look at him, and there I do it finally. I look in his eyes and I freeze for that moment. "And now I admit it. I love all of you, and I will make you mine." He says and leans down to kiss my lips. He kissed me, and I admit it too. I love everything about him. The way his eyes shine, the way his shy smile can get anyone turned on, or the way he stares at me when I talk. The way he speaks and the way he laughs at some jokes I don't even get myself. The way he smiles when I smile, or laugh when I laugh, and for a second when I was crying today I felt him frown.

We pull out from the kiss and his shy smile isn't shy anymore. It's bright and he's smiling crazy. I smile big finally and I didn't notice Dakota or Eloise standing looking at us. I look down and blush into deep shade of red. "Looks like Jamie and Eleanor have something." Dakota says nudging Eloise. "Shut up Dakota." I whine. "Aww, I better be invited to the wedding!" Eloise says, smirking. I cover my face but Jamie takes my hands and holds them in his. "I wouldn't hide my face if I were you." Jamie whispers to me, then kisses the top of both of my hands. I smile kindly as he let's go of them making my hands fall to my side.

We all sit around the dinning table and eat the food Sofia made. "Miss.Carmen, Mr.Levine is on the phone." Shawn says entering the room. "Um I'll be right there." I say. He nods and walks away. I place my napkin on the table and Dakota laughs. "Ohh go get her other boy." Rita says. "He's not my boy!" I whine and walk into my study. I pick up the phone, and Adam begins to speak.

"Ah hi El." Adam says. "Hi Adam." I say and sit in my office chair. "You think you can help me with something?" He asks. "Um depends. What is it?" I ask. "Writing a song." He says. "Adam our business doesn't write songs." I say. "No, you help me." He says. "I'll see what I can do, I guess you can come over." I say. He agrees and hangs up.

I walk back out to the room and sit down. "What's wrong honey?" Dakota asks. "Um Adam needs help writing his dumb songs." I say. "You used to write songs?" Jamie asks. "Ya I worked for Beyoncé once." I say smiling. "This girl does everything I swear." Luke says and stares at me. "Well I'm going to change." I say.

I walk back to the living room and I am now changed in a black skater dress and black heels. "Why so fancy?" Rita asks turning to me. "Eleanor doesn't dress casual Rita. The girl is rich for gods sake." Dakota says. "How much do you make an hour?" Rita asks. "Well to tell you the truth between 900 and 800." I say. "What the hell!" Eloise says as her eyes widen. I smile and hear footsteps. Adam enters the living room and smiles. "Hi." I say and hug him. "Hello." He says and shakes everyone else's hands. "So about your song, there's already one on my desk in my study, if you don't like it, I have more." I say, and give him the key. He nods and leaves the room. "You have a study? Like Christian?" Eloise asks. "Ya, except it didn't come with the house, I made someone build it." I say. "Did you want to see it?" I ask. Everyone nods quickly and I lead the way.

We walk in and Adam is sitting in my desk chair reading the song. "Thanks Eleanor, I like it." He says. I nod and he stands up to say goodbye. He hands me my key and leaves. "You have so many books." Dakota says running her hands across the wooden book case that takes up the whole wall. "It's crazy." Eloise says. "Well I'm going to go get a cup of coffee, lock it up when your done." I say and hand Eloise the key. She nods and I walk to the kitchen.

Sofia hands me a cup and I walk over to the couch and sit down. It's kinda crazy how I'm falling for Jamie already. He's perfection and he's the only boy who actually treats me non business and I need that in my life sometimes. But will I have time for him? With my running schedule early in the morning, then as soon as I come home take a shower, change and go to work. Then as soon as I get home eat, take a shower, and go to sleep. Only time will tell. But I want him mine also, and will do anything.

I hear footsteps and think it's Dakota. But it's not. I meet eyes with Jamie and smile. He goes down on his knees and places his hands on my knees. I place my hand on top of his hair and play with it. "I've been thinking." Jamie begins. "You've been thinking." I say and smile. "That I should take you on a date." Jamie says. I widen my eyes and smile and it felt like everything inside me lit up. "And I've been thinking that's a wonderful idea." I say. Jamie smiles and leans up to kiss me. There goes those feelings I get when he touches me.
