SOOBIN POV

I walked with my father. His warm smile put my nerves at ease. His father was well respected & knew the institute well. "내가 당신을 자랑스러워 하지 않는다고 생각하나요, 수비나? 나는 당신이 매우 자랑스러워요." (Do you think I am not proud of you, Soobin ah ? I am very proud of you.) My father said as I let out a awkward sigh. I have heard about & seen the institute all these years from afar. Entering the institute now was highly nerve wracking. My mind was racing, "I know that, Dad. I am grateful for your guidance, but I am nervous." 

My father & I were close. Very close. He chuckled as we walked. "You have nothing to worry about. Besides you won't be alone anyway." I knew I was going to meet up with friends, but this would be our first time at the institute.  I sighed once more, "왜 제가 그 학원에 만족해야 하나요? 가셨으면서도 대부분 싫어하셨잖아요, 아빠." (Why should I settle for the institute ? You went and you hated it for the most part, Dad.)

My father nodded as we slowly neared the front gates of the Monzara institute. "I did hate it for the most part, Soobin ah. I have always been truthful about this..." My father said as he recalled some memories of his time at the institute. "I met my best friends here. It wasn't all a waste." I was a mess, not going to lie. I had friends though, but we all were in the same boat. I nodded, "True. Very true..."

Soon enough we had crossed the threshold of the front gates. We continued to walk & make conversation. We barely made it to the courtyard when we heard someone yell, "SOOBIN !" I grinned as I recognized my friends. I said goodbye to my father before running to catch up with them. 

Almost immediately I was tackled into a hug. I chuckled ruffling the hair of my friend who tackled me to the ground in a fit of laughter. My friends & I had a pact. The pact was simple. We officially enter the Monzara Institute together. Solidarity, am I right ?

"수빈아, 내 아들아. 안색이 좋아 보여요. 준비됐나요?" (Soobin, my boy. You look well. Are you ready ?) The person greeted as I was brought into a familiar hug. "We are ready, grandfather. Lead the way."

We then made our way inside...
