Chapter 40

RomanReigns: It's not often that I share never before seen moments from my job but this is a moment that I will forever treasure. Being able to work alongside the legend himself @Undertaker is always a privilege and I'm grateful for him coming out to show support.

Today is my first official day back at The Dreams and I had plans to wear a suit for my little comeback moment but pregnancy is starting to kick my butt. My body felt like it was on fire when I was getting dressed and all I wanted to do was have an ice bath.

I was alone with the twins so I had to get them ready and Joseph being a piece of shit peed on my face while I was changing his diapers so I had to shower again. Obviously that meant that we were running late so I threw on a bodysuit and decided to ditch the makeup.

Now that I am at work, I am feeling a range of emotions because I have a lot to catch up on and I'm not really feeling up for it.

"Everything you need to know about their routine is written on this piece of paper." I tell the woman that I have hired to watch the twins while I work. "If they stray off schedule, I have written down things that you can do. You have my number so feel free to text me but if something serious happens then you come straight to my office."

"Ok." Marie smiles while nodding her head.

"You may be watching the twins for five hours but I promise you that it will not be an easy five hours. Their father is a wrestler and they have seen a few shows so don't let them attempt any moves on eachother." Her eyes widen slightly. "If they start fighting then let me know and I'll sort it out."

After giving Joseph and Thomas a stern talking to that they both ignore, I walk across the hall to my office. Sofia and Jordana are nowhere to be seen so I grab my laptop and start going through my emails which I'm behind on.

"I need a personal assistant." I tell myself as I look at the pile of documents that need my approval. Jordana and Sofia may be co-owners to The Dreams but everything still needs to be approved by me as my signature is the one that finalises everything.

I get through exactly seventeen minutes of working before a loud scream followed by a cry has me bolting out of my seat. I run past my working staff members before bursting into the room that I set up for the boys.

"What happened?" I frantically ask Marie as I drop down to my knees infront of Thomas who is crying his eyes out. I quickly enter momma bear mode as I begin to comfort my child while looking over his body to see where he's hurting.

"Joe did it." Thomas tells me while placing his hands on his back. I can faintly hear Marie talking in the background as I turn Thomas around to see the back of his shirt is ruffled so I quickly lift it up and my eyes widen in horror. My son's back is red and I need to know what the fuck happened to him.

"MARIE!" My eyes snap to the woman who I hired to watch my kids. "What the hell happened in here?"

"Joseph hit Thomas on the back with the cha-"

"GET OUT!" I yell at her and she quickly runs out of the room as I furiously make my way over to Joseph who is looking at me with panic in his eyes. "I have had enough of you."

Before Joseph can even open his mouth, I grab his shoulder with my left hand before slapping his backside with my right hand. I have never put my hands on my children but the way Joseph keeps attacking Thomas is not ok and obviously whatever Joe is say isn't working.

"MOMMY NO!" Joseph screams as I hit him once more and the tears fall from his eyes as I drag him over to his crying brother. "NO!"

"You are going to apologise to your brother now." I hiss in his ears. "If you don't know how to play nicely with Thomas then you're going to be in big trouble."

"NO MOMMY!" Joseph screams as he tries to attack me and it takes a lot to restrain him in my current state.

"MOMMY!" Thomas gasps as I fall on my bum. "JOE STOP!"

Joseph scratches my neck pretty good before grabbing a hold of my hair and I am in shock at how my first born is behaving. Never did I believe that I would become one of those moms who have problematic children yet here I am.

"STOP IT!" Thomas hits Joseph over the face before pushing him to the ground and that's when all hell breaks loose.

My mom is literally my lifesaver.

I had no idea that she was planning to visit us today but I'm so glad that she did as she was the only person to come in and help me. She told me that everybody could hear what was going on but were afraid to come in which makes me feel a bit pissed because I needed help.

My kids may be one years old but they are pretty strong and big for their age.

"We need to take Joseph to the hospital or the freakin' counsellor to figure out what the hell is wrong with him." I tell my husband as I cuddle Thomas to my chest while he sleeps. "He is far too aggressive for his age and I don't like him attacking Thomas."

"They're just being kids." Joe tries to justify Joseph's actions as he brushes through his damp hair. "And don't forget they're twin boys."

I purse my lips at him, "These twin boys will not be attending anymore WWE shows until they change."

"Why?" He gives me a look and I look at him as if he is crazy.

"Joseph hit his brother over the back with a chair." I snap at him and Thomas buries his face deeper in my chest. "If you think I will be bringing the twins to your shows anytime soon then you're sadly mistaken. There is something wrong with Joseph, I can feel it deep inside."

Joe sighs, "Amerie."

"He could be a sociopath for all we know or maybe he has ADHD." I tell him as he sets the hair brush down on the dresser. "All I'm saying is that there must be an explanation for why he is acting out and we need to know so we can deal with it accordingly."

"Whatever."

I gently move Thomas over to the middle of the bed as I go to follow my husband out of the room and I'm surprised at how he is reacting to everything. The way our first born behaves is unlike anything that I have seen in a one year old, I assumed that it was because of Joe's job but this is much more than that.

"He attacked me." Joe stops in his tracks at the sound of my broken voice. "He scratched my neck, pushed me down and pulled on my hair. If it wasn't for Thomas pushing him, who knows what he would have done next. I shouldn't have to fear my own child but I do, Joseph is one years old but his actions are... they're not normal for his age and I can't put him in daycare knowing that he could attack somebody else."

"You're right." He looks downcast as he takes a look at my neck which has three scratches on it. "I'll book an appointment in the morning and we will figure this out."

"Ok." I sigh deeply. "I'll see you in the morning."

Joe is planning to stay in the guest bedroom with Joseph tonight while I keep Thomas with me in our room. I don't want to risk anything taking place during the night hence why we're keeping them apart.
