Nancy

I was talking to Robin in the front of the group... Max and Lucas were behind us, then Eddie and Erica, and straggling behind all of us were Steve and Dustin.. "So." Robin stated. "Yeah?" I asked shifting my gaze from Steve back to Robin. "You like Steve?" She asked. "What! no... I'm.. in... I like Jonathan..." I replied. "Would you say... you're in love him?" Robin asked me. I sighed... I couldn't lie to her.. "I... i don't know..." I said. 

"What about Steve? Are you in love with him??" Robin asked. I thought about it for a few minutes. I should have immedietly said 'no' because i'm with jonathan... but the truth is, "I think... I think I might be... in love with Steve. I- I guess the feelings I had for him a few years ago, never really.. left..." I said....  "Nancy, Theres a difference between 'like'  and 'love'. Lets compare... Is Jonathan more important than steve? Like.. If someone.. gave you a gun.. and said 'Shoot the one you care about less' who would you chose? Steve.. or jonathan?" Robin asked. 

Steve.... or Jonathan?? What am i thinking, Jonathan's my boyfriend... of course i would chose him.... but Steve.. He saved me from Vecna, when... Jonathan wasn't even there to see if i was okay... "Jon..." I started... But then... It was like the words just.. slipped out of my mouth without permision.. "Steve..." I finished.  "So he's more important?" Robin asked. I sighed and slightly nodded my head...

"Let me ask you this... What do you feel around Jonathan?" She questioned. I thought about it, "When i'm with jonathan i feel... Safe, cared for.... but... also like... i can't .. tell him certain things..." I said reluctantly. "Okay... What do you feel when your with steve..?" She asked. I thought again... "Also, Safe... Like i can tell him anything... like... wherever he is, is home... Loved.." I said, the last part barely audible, But Robin heard it Clear as day. "Then, Nancy Wheeler... You are deeply in love with Steve Harrington.. 

Steve

"Dustin, it doesn't matter okay? Nancy's in love with Jonathan.." I said. "Not by the way she keeps glancing at you.." Dustin started, "And. Don't forget that she leaned in too.." He added. "It was in the heat of the moment!" I replied.. "Oh come on Steve!! You are completely head over heals for her, and she is Totally in love with you!"He yelled, loud enough for max and lucas to hear, but not loud enough to reach Nancy, Robin glanced back at me though.

"Henderson! Yell that to the whole world why don't you!!" I whisper yelled. "Okay ." dustin replied getting ready to yell. I quickly covered his mouth so that no sound would come out.

We are about five minutes from the wheeler house when robin says, "Nancy can't be left alone... She could get Vecna'd again.." Glancing at Dustin. He raised my hand and yelled "STEVE VOLENTEERS" I smacked his hand and he stepped back in mock pain. "Perfect." Robin Said, "Steve, Climb through her window once you know that she's in her room." she added. "uh- Okay." I said glancing at Nancy. She smiled at me, that sweet smile that i used to know so well.. We continued walking to Nancy's house and when we got there she went inside, and i climbed onto the roof to wait for her.

Nancy

Steve was going to be staying with me tonight... I feel like Dustin and Robin made some sort of plan to get us together... I walked into my house and spotted my mother across the living room. There were Cops in the room too... "Nancy! Oh my god, I thought you had ended up like those other kids!" Her mom said engulfing her into a hug.

"I'm fine, mom." I said. "What happened? Where were you?" She asked. I sighed and said, "I was at the arcade with Steve, Mom, We were watching Dustin, Lucas, and Max.." I said. She nodded, Believing me. "Have you had any contact with Eddie Munson lately?" One of the cops suddenly asked. "No, I didn't even know the guy. Now, If you will excuse me, I'm really tired." i stated. My mother nodded once again and said, "Of course, Go and get some rest. " 

I smiled slightly at the police officers and my father, as I walked upsairs towards my room. Once I got inside I locked the door and rushed to the window, Opening it for Steve. He climbed through and I got Deja'Vu, remembering that time years ago when everything was ok, No Demogorgans, Mind Flayers, and People dying from Vecna...

Flashback.

Steve crawls through the window, proceding to knock some stuff over and make noise. 

Steve- See? Like a Ninja. 

Nancy laughs and puts the stuff he knocked down back were it belongs, proceding to grab her flashcards. 

"Nance. Nancy? Hey, Earth to nancy?" Steves voice startled her out of her deja'vu. "Sorry, Did you say something?" She asked. Steve looked worried thinking it might have been vecna. "no... Was that Vecna?" He asked. "No, Just... Deja'vu.. From... years ago." I said.

Steve

 I nodded, I was getting deja'vu as well.. Me crawling through her window, like the worst Ninja ever. Then I realized how close we were. I inched forward, and so did she, I glanced at her lips, and then back at her eyes. She, then glanced at my lips, and then back to my eyes. I slowly inched forward more, and she closed the gap. The kiss lasted a few seconds, and then we stared into each others eyes for a minute before Nancy wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me again, I was shocked, Did she maybe still have feelings for me? I kissed back, and my hands went to her waist, We continued kissing and after a few minutes Nancy said, "Steve?" "Yeah Nance?" I asked still breathless. "I want you.." she said, I smiled Before pushing her onto the bed and kissing her again.

Hello to anyone reading this book, I hope Your enjoying it, i will  try to update every day or other day.. I love Steve and Nancy together, but was upset to find only 3 or 4 on Wattpad... You should read "The way it was" by Pwamps5, I absolutely loved this book and it deserves a lot more reads then it has!
