Shower Thoughts

This time it only took her a split second to know she had wet in her sleep. However, the more pressing and annoying feeling was the pounding headache, spinning room, queasy stomach, and insane thirst in her throat.

Steph looked around her room for a glass or bottle of water, but was disappointed when all she found saw an empty glass. She got out of bed and stood up, but had to pause for a moment to let the room stop spinning.

She was halfway down the stairs when she heard the voices of her parents in a heated exchange. Steph ignored the conversation as she was more focused on the pain in her head.

Candace and Randall stopped their conversation when they head Steph walk towards the kitchen. Both were a little uncomfortable when they saw their adult daughter standing in the kitchen with nothing more than her black camisole and an obviously soaked diaper.

As she entered the kitchen Steph made brief eye contact with both parents before averting their gaze. The room remained silent as Steph took two Advils and drank a full glass of water. She filled her refilled her glass and left the kitchen.

Her parents resumed their conversation, but in a much quieter tone as she made her way up the stairs. Steph closed the door behind her and slumped into bed. She was trying to find a comfortable position before she heard a knock on the door.

Still feeling ashamed she chose to ignore it and turned away from the door, but unfortunately for her, Candace walked in anyway.

"Hey sweetie." Her mother greeted. "How're you feeling?"

Steph, unsure of what to say let out a small groan.

"That bad, huh?" Candace said as she sat down on the bed. Steph curled up.

"We're not mad at you Steph." Candace said putting her hand on the girl. "Or disappointed. We're just worried."

Steph remained still as her mother's words fell of deaf ears.

"Look, I'm going to work from home today okay? Your dad is gonna be at the church, but I'll be here if you need anything." Candace said patting the girl. "Speaking of which, did you want me to change you again before going back to sleep? We noticed that you were... in need of one."

"I can do it." Steph said feeling embarrassed. "I can do it myself mom."

Relieved that she got some kind of response from the girl Candace stood up. "Get some rest and sleep your hangover away okay? I'll make some soup and breakfast foods for you."

"Thanks mom." Stephanie said as Candace walked out the door.

Once the door was closed Steph tossed off her blanket so she could change herself and looked down just to realize why her parents could tell she was wet. She wasn't wearing any thing to cover her obviously swollen and stained diaper.

Not having the capacity to care, she went to her closet and grabbed the first diaper she could find and took off her current one. As she unfolded her new one, she realized that she had nothing to wipe or clean herself with. She cracked her door open and peeked out. With the coast was clear, she stealthily shuffled to her washroom.

She stepped into the tub, grabbed  the shower head and turned on the shower. In her haste she forgot how cold the water was and blasted her waist and legs with freezing water.

The sudden drop in temperature shocked her, she shuddered in response and dropped the shower head, causing the showerhead to douse her body and face with freezing water. She used her hand to block the stream and grabbed the showerhead.

Once she had it under control she stood there drenched and shivering until the water reached an acceptable level. Steph looked at herself and realized something. She was still wearing yesterday's camisole which meant that she had not showered since before yesterday's party. Seeing as how she was already soaked and in need of warmth, Steph decided she might as well shower.

Placing the showerhead back on its mount, Stephanie let the warm waters wash over her body and she recalled last night's events...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Steph realized she was sitting in a puddle of urine. The temperature of it told her that it was fresh. Looking at the floor she could see that the legs of her mom's pajama bottom were soaking up the mess she made.

Steph was sniffling. "Mom?"

"Yes baby?"

"I'm not a baby." She continued sniffling. "But I'm sorry..."

"What for sweetie?" Candace said coddling the girl. "What are you sorry for?"

"Being fucked up..." She mumbled.

"Hey... Why would you say that?"

"I... got drunk."

"So? We've all been there Steph... We're not mad. It's not illegal. You're of age."

"I... wet myself"

"So? It's not your fault sweetie. Is bedwetting embarrassing? Sure. And I can't pretend I fully understand, but it doesn't change who you are."

"Not just at night..."

"Honey you're drunk. I've had a few mishaps of my own when I was partied at your age. Maybe you just need to be a little more careful when you drink?"

Candace kissed Stephanie on her head.

"What if they're not all accidents?" She muttered.

"What was that?" Candace asked thinking she misheard.

"What if I had other accidents?" Steph changed her words.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"I'm scared to."

"Well, it's up to you if you want to tell me about it, but for now let's get you cleaned up okay?"

Candace stood up and pulled her daughter up to stand. "Let's step into the tub okay?"

Steph stood half naked in the tub while Candace removed her pajama pants to soak up the puddle the two were previously sitting in. Realizing it wasn't enough she grabbed the floor mat to soak up the rest. She threw the went fabrics down near Steph's feet.

"Can you rinse those for me sweetie?" Candace turned around and left the washroom.

Steph nodded and grabbed the shower head. She ran the tap for a while to rinse the soiled garments. Over time she could see the water run off change from a dark yellow to clear.

Candace returned with a box of wet wipes and started cleaning the floor. Steph about to apologize but knew that her mother wouldn't take it.

Candace disposed of the wet wipes and grabbed the laundry hamper.

"Can you wring the water out of those and put them in the basket?"

Steph turned off the tap and followed her mother's instruction. Steph put the clothes in the hamper and Candace instructed her to go back into the tub.

"Undies off." She commanded.

Steph complied without question. She slid her panties down past her hips and let them drop on the floor.

Candace heard the sound of something thumping and saw small nugget of poo in her panties. She was about to say something, but decided to spare the embarrassment now knowing if Steph was aware what was there.

Candace grabbed the shower head and turned on the water, checking the temperature before rinsing her daughter's lower half. Once she was done she wrapped a towel around her waist and walked her back to her room.

Steph sat on her bed in her towel and Candace pushed her shoulder to lay her down.

"Mom what are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm making sure you'll be okay for the night."

"I can do it myself. I'm not a baby." Steph protested.

"You're not a baby but you're drunk. And I don't want to wash your bedsheets tomorrow."

"Mmk..." Steph complied.

Candace finished taping up the diaper and turned her daughter to her side. "Now you just go sleep okay? And make sure you sleep on your side. I'll be checking on you every once in a while." She put the covers on Steph and patted her shoulder.

"I'm sorry for making you do this." Steph said as tears welled up in her eyes.

"You're not making me do anything." Candance reassured her. "I am your mother, and I choose to love you, even when you have accidents."

Steph continued crying in her bed as her mother left, and over time the crying slowed down to sobs, then sniffles, and then finally quietness as she drifted off to sleep.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Steph dried her body off in her room and tossed the towel on her bed. Once she diapered herself, she grabbed some loose sweats, t-shirts, and a hoodie. She heard the sound of the kitchen vent being turned off. Steph was no longer sleepy having been woken up by the cold shock and shower, and while she felt her stomach was grumbly and queasy, she knew it would have been wiser to eat her breakfast while it was fresh and hot.

She walked down the stairs to the surprise of her mother who expected her to have gone back to sleep.

"Hey sweetie. I thought you were gonna go back to sleep."

"I tried, but I needed a shower." Steph said hunched over of the kitchen island.

"Okay, well eat some breakfast and do what you need to okay?" Candace said consolidating two plates of eggs, bacon, and sausage into one. Candace then grabbed a slice of French toast and placed in on that same plate. She slid the plate across the counter until it stopped in front of Steph with precision.  Soon after she set down a bowl of broth down next to her plate.

Noticing that there is no food on her mother's plate, Steph spoke up. "What about you mom?"

"I'll make some more. You look like you should have a lot to help you. Coffee?"

Steph nodded as she longed for the comfort of a hot cup of coffee.

Candace handed her a fresh mug of coffee and turned around and to light the stove. As she cracked two eggs into the pan the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Candace said to her Steph.

Steph nodded and began to look at the plate of food. Whilst she knew heavy and greasy food was good for a hangover, she found it hard to will herself to eat. Instead, she cupped the hot mug between her hands and took a deep sniff of the aroma. She cautiously took her first sip as to not burn her mouth.

She put her mug down before hearing her mom open the door and say in surprise.

"Jason? What are you doing here?"
