it's hard to fight when the fight ain't fair
letharia vulpina

━━━━༺❀༻━━━━

Kennedy ducks down, almost getting hit by the wire herself. Scott and Derek run for the stairs, but Kennedy looks around. She rushes to the edge of the building, watching the cord almost hit Kira. She closed her eyes, letting out a shaky breath before jumping.

Kira turned her head, watching Kennedy jump into the grass. The Alpha looked up, her eyes red.  Kira begins to shout as a man climbs out of his ambulance. "Get back! Everyone, get back!" Kennedy watched the man fall to the ground. Allison and Isaac climb out of their car.

The Argent goes to run forwards, "Allison!" Isaac shouts, shoving the girl into the grass before she reaches the water.

Allison grunts, looking up to see the boy walking through the water, electrocuting himself in the process. "Isaac!" She shouts.

"Isaac!" Kennedy screams. She watches as the water reaches to another civilian. Kira looks at her in horror. A silver car comes speeding through the parking lot, not seeing the two girls. "Kira, jump."

"What?" Before Kira can react, Kennedy steps in front of the car. The man pulls to an abrupt stop, allowing Kira the time to jump on the hood. Kennedy climbed on, watching the asian girl jump over, landing  in the water. Scott and Derek run to the scene, stopping abruptly at the water line. Kira watched the cord in front of her, inhaling deeply before grabbing hold of it. Kennedy smiled in disbelieve as Kira clasps her hand over the cord, closing her eyes. The entire hospitals lights flash on and off as Kira absorbs everything that the cord held. It was unlike anything Kennedy had ever defend. What Kennedy couldn't see, was Kira's orange eyes as she absorbed the electricity.

People began running out of the hospital, the power finally out completely. Kennedy jumped off the car, running to Isaac. "Isaac!" She yelled out, kneeling down to to the boy. She put her hand to his neck, observing his breath "Oh my god, he's not breathing." Kennedy looked up frantically. "Scott! He's not breathing!"

Peter looked at Kennedy, watching her eat her breakfast. "They haven't heard anything," Kennedy said. Stiles was missing. He had been for two days by now. Kennedy didn't know what to think. Isaac was in the hospital, Stiles was gone, and possessed by a evil kitsune, and now she was supposed to go to school like none of this even happened.

The eldest Hale sighed as he sat at the table. "Bunny, as much as I despise your ugly little human boyfriend," Kennedy slowly looked up at her dad, who held up a finger, "I'm sure he will be fine. He always is, isn't he?"

Kennedy nods, looking down at her food. "Yeah, he usually is." She mumbled. Peter looked down, tapping his finger on the table.

"There's this program I'm looking into, for the both of us," Peter began. Kennedy looks up suspiciously. "It's like a long term Christmas vacation. We get to travel to places like France, London, Mexico,"

"Wait, what?" Kennedy shakes her head, confused. "What about school?" She asked.

Peter shrugs, "I'm actually going to go to your school and ask if you can get any of it done online while we're gone." He explained. Kennedy rolled her eyes. "It's just for a month, you'd be back in time for the next semester."

Kennedy leans on the table. "I don't know, Dad. A month away from Beacon Hills sounds like six years." She explained.

"Exactly," Peter hummed. "You'd get out of here away from all the death and destruction for a while! And imagine the croissants," He playfully winked, causing Kennedy to laugh. "Just think about it, okay?"

Kennedy smiles, nodding. She places down her fork, sliding the plate to her dad. "I'm gonna go see Isaac before school. I'll see you later, okay?" She said with a gentle smile. She grabbed her keys and her bag, walking out the door.

Allison sat in the hospital, sleeping in a chair when the elevator door opened. Kennedy walked through. "Alli?"

The Argent looked up, "Kenny, hey," She grumbled, running her eyes. "What time is it?"

Kennedy smiled, "Almost time for school," She joked, sitting next to the human. "Have you been here all night?"

"Yeah," Allison said slowly. The elevator door opened, Scott and Melissa McCall walking into the hall as well. "Yeah, they won't let me see him because I'm not family. I told them he doesn't have any."

"He's got us." Melissa stated. "And I've got a key card." Allison and Kennedy shared a look, following the McCalls to the room Isaac was in.

Isaac was on the bed, burnt up and injured. He was still unconscious. Kennedy walked ahead of the former couple, looking down at Isaac. He looked in pain, and Kennedy felt her heart ache for him. If only she had been able to warn him sooner.

"I thought he'd be healing by now." Allison whispered, standing on the other side of the bed
with Scott.

"So did I." Scott said.

Kennedy purses her lips together, reaching for Isaac's hand. She linked her fingers with his, and like the tome at the rave, black veins slowly went up his arms, connecting with her hand. Allison and Scott watched.

"Is he in pain?" Allison asked.

Isaac moved as Kennedy took his pain. Scott reached over, doing the same on the other side. Scott inhaled sharply, pulling away. Allison looks at Kennedy, seeing a single tear roll down the Hales cheek. They were having two different reactions. Scott was in pain, it hurt, almost unbearably so, but Kennedy seemed numb. The thought dawned on Allison as to why. Scott was doing it because he wanted Isaac to feel better, and he was his friend. Kennedy was doing it because she blamed herself, and thought she deserved the pain more than Isaac did.

The Lahey's hand tightened with Kennedy's, but she suddenly stopped trying to take his pain. She smiled softly, running her thumb along his knuckles.

"It won't heal him, but it helps with the pain." Scott explained, rubbing his hand.

Allison cheered on her nail. "Did Stiles really do this?"

Kennedy shook her head. "It wasn't Stiles." She whispered. "Whatever's controlling him did this."

"Whatever's inside him." Scott finished.

Allison exhaled sharply. "Well, then how do we get whatever's inside of him the hell out of him?"

"I'm working on it." Scott told the Argent. He looked at Kennedy. "I'm gonna go talk to Kira,"

"I'll go talk to my dad," Allison followed.

Kennedy nods, "I'll be at school soon," She whispered. The former couple share looks, slowly heading towards the door.

Just as Allison reaches for the exit, she turns back towards Kennedy. "He cares about you, you know," Both Scott and Kennedy look over at the Argent in confusion. "Isaac. He really cares about you." Scott furrowed a brow, the possibility of Isaac's crush not being over with crossing his mind.

"And I care about him." Kennedy whispered, looking back at Isaac.

Lydia stood at her locker with Kennedy. "How are you even able to be at school right now?" Lydia asked, looking at the Hale.

"Well, I'm incredibly good at pretending I'm okay when I'm not, that's the entire point of being popular, isn't it?" Kennedy turned to look at her best friend. Lydia purses her lips, shutting her locker door. "Plus, I'm possibly going to be visiting Jackson in December."

The Martin rose a brow, "I'm sorry, come again?"

Kennedy and Lydia walk down the hall. "My dad said he's looking into this cruise thing, one of the stops is in London, so I'm hoping that means I could see our favorite kanima werewolf hybrid." She explained cheerily. She came to a stop, hearing a loud sound in her ears.

"What?" Lydia asks. Kennedy remembers back when her and the others were trying to find Cora and Boyd, and Chris used an emitter to attract them. That's exactly what this sound was.

Kennedy held up a finger, "I'll see you later, okay?" She said to Lydia. The Martin frowned, watching Kennedy back up down the halls. "I'll see you!"

She ran down the hall, towards the basement where she and Scott once locked Derek inside. She stumbles when she sees Aiden, Ethan, and Scott. "You hear it too?" Aiden asked her.

"Of course I do, dumbass." She hissed. Aiden glares, but the four teens rush down the stairs. Kennedy turns to the right, pausing. The others stared too, seeing a figure. He slowly turned around.

It was Stiles.

He held up his hands, "Okay, I know what you guys are thinking, but it's me. I swear to God, it's me."

Ethan and Aiden growled from behind the alphas, running at the Stilinski. One of them grabs Stiles,
lifting him in the air. Kennedy's eyes turned red as she lunges for the twins.

"Wait, stop!" Scott yelled, running over. Kennedy grabs onto Ethan, throwing him at Scott as she pulled on Aiden.

The blue eyes werewolf turned, roaring at her. Kennedy bared her fangs and red eyes, roaring right back. Scott looked up in surprise, not expecting such volume. It was louder than most roars he had heard. Aiden shrunk back, his eyes turning to their normal color again. Kennedy's eyes turned brown, and she slowly looked back at Stiles.

"Ken, it's me. I swear it's me." He began, "I don't know where I've been the last two days or what I've been doing, but this is me. I promise."

Ethan breathes heavily as he looks up, "You know what happened at the hospital?"

Stiles nods, "I know more than that." He said finally. He walked past them all, picking up a blue paper from the duffle bag on the door. "You see this? It's a blueprint of the hospital's electrical wiring." He unfolded it, letting them all see it. "You see all these markings in red? That's my handwriting." Kennedy walked towards Stiles, crouching down. "I know I did this. I caused the accident." Kennedy side eyed Scott, both of them unsure what to do "And everything in this bag, it's all stuff that could be part of something bigger."

"What the hell have you been up to?" Ethan asked.

Stiles slouched, "I think something worse." He confessed. He looked at Kennedy, "A lot worse."

Kennedy sighed, pulling Stiles into a hug. He tensed up for a moment, before his arms wrapped around her. She sighed, inhaling his scent that she had missed in the days he had been gone. "God, I was so worried." She whispered in his shoulder.

The Stilinski rubbed her back, "I'm sorry," He whispered back, closing his eyes.

The five teenagers began to unpack everything Stiles gathered. He circled the table nervously. Kennedy turned to him, giving him a soft comforting smile. She had him again, and she wanted to make sure he was safe.

"What the hell were you doing? Building a Terminator?" Aiden asked sarcastically.

Stiles rolled his eyes. "Thank you for that." He mumbled.

"Guys, this is a map." Scott said. Kennedy looked up, glancing at the map.

"Isn't that the cross country trail?" Ethan asked, pointing to the red line.

"That's the Tate car." Scott said.

Kennedy looks up "Yeah, there Malia's family died." She purses her lips together. She hadn't been able to see Malia. She called Mr. Tate, but he said they were going to be going on a father daughter trip, which Kennedy understood.

"You mean that's where her father put the steel-jawed traps." Stiles mumbled. Kennedy looked up in thought.

"Stiles, you don't think-"

"Do we really wanna wait and find out?" He asked, making eye contact with her. Kennedy bit the inside of her cheek, watching Stiles stare at her. A shiver went down her spine, but she didn't want to think about it.

Kennedy sat in the passenger of the Jeep. "What if someone's hurt?" She asked. "Oh my god, what are we going to do?"

"Kennedy, kindly, shut up," Stiles said with a smile. Aiden frowned for a second, never thinking he'd see the day Stiles would say that. Kennedy pouted, watching them pull up to Coach.

The blue Jeep came to a screeching halt. "Coach!" Stiles shouted as he, Aiden, and Kennedy leaped out.

"Stilinski," Coach Finstock uttered out as the missing boy and the other two came over

"Coach, listen close." He blurts. "There are best traps all over these woods." Stiles explained.

Kennedy looked at Finstock. "How soon until everyone gets here?"

Coach shrugs, "Uh, I don't know. Not long, I'm sure." He says.

Aiden shook his head, "You need to stop them from going any further." He retorted.

"Then let's go!" Kennedy yelled, pulling them along. She ran through the woods, her boots hitting the ground. Most normal people, like Coach, would be confused on how fast the Hale girl could run with boots and a dress. People who knew, like Stiles and Aiden, didn't have a second thought.

"Scott!" Stiles halts, throwing his hands in the air as he shouts at the group of students coming running towards the teens. Scott and Kira stand there. Kira
must have been ahead of the group, and Scott found her first. "Stop, stop, stop! Everyone, stop!"

Stiles what looks like a chain. Kennedy stands next to coach as the human boy pulls it along. However, to both his relief and horror, its connected to nothing.

Coach Finstock claps slowly, "Congratulations, Stilinski. You found a length of chain." He mutters, stepping forwards. "Can somebody now please tell me what the hell's going on?" He takes another step forwards towards Scott, his foot catching onto the wire.

"Hey, Coach!" Scott shouts. Before anyone can do anything, an arrow flies through the air, piercing Coach Bobby Finstock's stomach. Kira gasps, covering her mouth. Kennedy freezes up, looking at the wound.

Coach looked down, "Oh, crap." He mutters before falling to the ground. Kennedy kneels down, looking at the wound in concern.

Scott and Stiles rush over, horrified. Scott tried to think clearly, attempting to figure out what to do. Blood pooled around the wound, and Stiles tried to put pressure on it as he tried to find out how to save their coach.

Blood began to pool around quickly, Stiles trying to keep pressure on the wound. Coach begins to scream uncontrollably. "Get it out of me! Get it out of me. Get it out of me." He yells, "Oh, my God, I'm gonna die." He grabs Kennedy's wrist. "Get it out of me! I'm gonna die!"

Stiles looks up, "Coach, you're not gonna die." He stated.

"I'm gonna die!"

"It will hurt less if you stop moving, Coach." Aiden explained. Coach only continue to writher around. "Stay still, an ambulance is coming!"

Coach flailed and screamed. "Get it out! I'm gonna die!"

"Get back! Get back! Give him some room! Get back!" Aiden shouted at the class. Scott closed his eyes as he clutched Coach's hand. Kennedy grabbed the other, knowing what he was doing. The other two watched as black veins filled the Alpha's hands, and Finstock visibly relaxed.

Coach groaned in pain, his head falling to the side. "I think he just passed out." Aiden whispers.

Stiles rips his hands way, looking at the black blood on his hands. "I could have killed him . I could have killed him, right?" He stutters out. Kennedy looks up at him. "What if it was his head or his throat?"

"But it wasn't." Scott consoled his best friend. "And he's going to be all right."

"I think I just heard an ambulance coming." Aiden says to the group. Sirens wail, and Kennedy sighs in relief.

The human boy sighs, "And my dad." He says, looking past the group. Kennedy looked at Stiles, unsure what to say.

Kennedy stood next to Stiles as he hugged his dad. She smiled softly, watching them talk. Sheriff excused himself, going to talk to the EMT's. "That could've been really bad." Stiles mumbled, looking at his girlfriend.

"But it wasn't." Kennedy says, grabbing his hand. "Coach will be okay." She informed him, giving a smile. Stiles gave a closed mouth smile in return. The Hale girl sighed, pulling her boyfriend in for a hug. Stiles wrapped his arms around her torso, resting his head on her shoulder. If she could see his demeanor change for even a moment, she would have realized that something was off about the boy she held in her arms. Maybe she would've realized before it was too late.

But a trickster spirit is a great actor.

Scott and Ethan came running over. "The school! We gotta get to the school!"

Kennedy looks over, "Why?" She asked.

"William Barrow set off a bomb inside a bus, right?" Ethan asked, Kennedy nods, looking at Stiles. "We found the wrapping paper you guys used for Coach, and we think,"

"Oh my god," Stiles mumbled in realization. "We have to tell my dad,"

"I'll go get the Jeep." Kennedy said, running the other way. Kennedy ran to the car, her phone beginning to ring. "Hello?"

"Kennedy," Derek's voice filled her ears. "You need to get to the police station, now."

Kennedy scoffs, "I'm currently trying to stop a bomb." She said, "And why are you in the police station?"

Derek leaned onto the phone booth. "Chris and i are getting framed for murder. We think it's got something to do with Stiles." He explains. "Somethings not adding up, and we need you to come here."

Kennedy sighed, looking back at her boyfriend and friends. They could handle the school, but if Derek was right, there was a bigger picture they weren't seeing. "Okay, I'll be there soon."

༺❀༻

"Tell me what she knew!" Peter demanded, looking at Lydia. Allison stares at her friend, seeing the redhead listen closely to the sound coming from the wall. Lydia looked at Peter slowly, her face filled with shock.

She purses her lips into a thin line, trying to process what she just discovered. "Kennedy's not an only child." She whispered. Peters eyes widened, surprised

At the Sheriffs Station, it was awfully quiet as Chris Argent and Derek Hale sat next to one another. "I could easily get out of these, you know." Derek mutters.

"So could I." Chris snaps, looking at the passing police officer. "But I'm not interested in being a fugitive from the law." He informed.

"Well, I'm not interested in being a victim to a 17-year-old possessed by a psychotic fox." Derek mutters.

Chris sighs. "Just give me a few more minutes."

The Hale glances at his handcuffs, tugging on them. "Okay, fine. If something happens, don't expect me to risk my life trying to save yours." He said to Chris.

The doors to the station opened, Kennedy walking in. She stifled a laugh, seeing the two sitting there. "Okay, you look ridiculous." She said, "I never thought I'd see the day you two were arrested together."

At the school, Deputy Parrish held up a name plaque to the window. SHERIFF STILINSKI. Scott looked at Stiles, who seemed just as confused. Noah thought back to the packages he got this morning.

"Oh, God. There is a bomb, but not here." He whispered, turning around. "Somebody, call the station!"

Stiles looked over at Scott. "Kennedy's at the station with Derek." He said in realization. "Oh my god, she's-" Tears welled up in Stiles's eyes, Scott grabbing the boy by the shoulders.

"Everything's going to be alright," Scott said. "We just have to get there, and fast."

Suddenly, phones begun ringing, cops begin to scramble. Kennedy turns around, "Um, what's going on?" She asked out loud.

A police officer scrambled over, undoing the Argent and Hale's cuffs. "What's happening?" Chris asked the police as they scrambled by.

Derek focused his hearing, listening to the ticking sound. Kennedy did the same, and Chris looked between the two werewolves. Kennedy looked in the window to Noah's office, seeing the packaged box on the Sheriffs desk. Kennedy's eyes widened in realization.  Derek ripped off his cuff, grabbing Chris Argent.

"Get down!"

Derek puts himself over Chris, and Kennedy screams as the glass comes flying at her. She fell to the ground,  glass shattering around her and other police officers. Her ears violently rang from the loud boom. She groaned, realizing she hit her head on the ground really hard. She dazedly looked at Derek, who was in a similar condition as her. Kennedy tried to push her self off the ground, but it was no use.

The girl passed out.

༺❀༻

"Get me an ambulance here, at the sheriff's station. We've got an explosion."

Scott McCall looked around the Sheriffs Station. "We got multiple officers down. Multiple officers down. We need an ambulance A.S.A.P. On the double." Says Sheriff Stilinski. Bodies laid along the floors, and it was hard to tell who was okay and who wasn't.

"Scott?" The boy looked at Stiles, standing over a police officer.

Meanwhile, Chris Argent stood up, holding a stumbling Derek Hale. "Derek. Derek."

The werewolf breathed heavily, shards of glass sticking out of his back. "I'm okay." He says calmly.

"You saved my life." Chris said to him. Derek drowsily looked around. Derek saw Kennedy, unconscious and on the tiled floor. She must have practically flown across the room from the blast.

"Kennedy!" Derek yelled.

Scott and Stiles looked up at the sound of the girls name. Scott and Stiles rushed over, horrified to see the state she was in. Her nose was bleeding, she had cuts and glass all over her, and she was unconscious on the ground. "Oh my god, oh my god." Stiles rambled, kneeling down to his girlfriend. Scott looked her over. She had so many injuries, he didn't know if the usual healing tactic would even work. "Is she dead?"

Scott listened closely, hearing the slow heartbeat from Kennedy's chest. He sighed in relief. "She's okay." He stated. Kennedy let out a small groan, causing the boys to look back at her. Noah Stilinski looked ar the boys, telling them to go.

"Go! Go! Get Kennedy and get out!" Noah told them.

Scott grabbed Kennedy, lifting her up in his arms. The boys start running for the exit. Kira comes running over, looking at Scott and her friends. "The oni. They're coming." She blurts out.

Scott grabs onto Stiles. "Stiles, we gotta get you out of here." The Alpha says. The human boy stares at the scene around him, unsure what to do. The group head to Stiles's Jeep, climbing in.

Kennedy was put in the back seat with Kira. "Is she gonna be okay?" Kira asked.

"Yeah, she's already starting to heal," Scott said. Kennedy groaned, lifting her head for just a moment before leaning back onto the window.

"Where are we going?" Kira asked.

"My work." Scott replied.

Kira frowns, "The animal clinic?" She looked at Kennedy, who's scratches were definitely starting to heal up.

Scott looks back, "Yeah, the place is lined with mountain ash. Just like my house. It will buy us some time."

"But they can get through it?" Stiles asks, looking over.

"Eventually."

Stiles shrugs, not liking this. "Nobody's got any better ideas?" Everyone is silent. "Okay, sure. Animal clinic." He says shortly.

The Jeep came to a screeching halt, and Stiles lifted Kennedy into his arms. They run to the door, when Scott spins around.  The snarling Oni begin to appear in the darkness

"Stiles, get inside!" Scott shouts, throwing the keys at his friend. Stiles looked at Kennedy, awkwardly placing her on the pavement so he can use the keys. Scott lets out a piercing roar, trying to fight them all by himself.

Stiles, who stands just in the door, finally unlocks it. He lifts his girlfriend up, looking over at the Yukimura. "Kira, get inside!" He yells. Kira didn't seem to listen, throwing crates and animal cages at the Oni.

Kennedy groaned from next to Stiles, her eyes slowly opening. She frowns as she sees Kira and Scott fighting off the Oni. She looks up, seeing Stiles. Scott roars, and suddenly Kennedy's eyes turn red.

Stiles doesn't have time to react before Kennedy is suddenly running into the fight. "Kennedy, no!"

Kennedy jumps over Kira, slashing her claws through an Oni in front of Scott. The McCall looks up, seeing her face changed like his. She snarls lowly, spinning around and kicking one in the air.

Kira grabs a pipe on the ground, running up to Kennedy and whacking the Oni with it. Kennedy hums at the convenience, watching the Oni fall back. The two girls high-five, looking up to see an Oni approaching them. Kennedy roared, running at the demon first. Stiles watched the Hale tackle the Oni to the ground. It's sword falls to the ground, and Kennedy tossed the monster to the side.

The two girls pant as they turn to look at Scott. Kira screams in horror as the last Oni stabs Scott in the abdomen. Kennedy yells his name, her eyes changing for just a moment. Scott's red eyes flash back to brown, the pain filling his body. Kira runs over, swiftly kicking the Oni to the ground. Kennedy runs over, grabbing Scott. Stiles, who had apparently just been watching, ran over quickly.

"Alright, get him inside!" Stiles shouted, grabbing his best friend. Kennedy weakly followed them, her body still in lots of pain from the bomb, but decided Scott was way more important.

Inside, Scott leans onto the table as Kennedy kneels onto the ground, groaning in pain. Kira looks at Scott with worry, grabbing the bottom of the sword. She prepares to pull, when someone grabs her arms. Kennedy weakly looks up, seeing Stiles grab the girl by the arm. Kira groaned in pain, before Stiles slams her head into the table. Kira falls to the ground, unconscious.

Stiles looked at Scott, who stepped towards. Stiles tilted his head, grabbing the handle of the sword that was still penetrating Scott, and began to twist. Scott screamed in pain, and Stiles swiftly hit the McCall on the table. Scott fell next to Kira, now also unconscious. Kennedy looked up at Stiles in disbelief. She slowly pulled herself up, trying to stumble away. Stiles tilted his head, watching her try to run past him. Suddenly, he grabs her by the throat, lifting her in the air. Kennedy grunted in pain, her hands reaching for his.

"Stiles,"

He threw her backwards, her back hitting the brick walls. She yelled out in pain, trying to push herself up. Stiles grabs her, lifting her again. "You should have done your reading, Kennedy." The Hale girl struggled for air, pulling at his hand. "See, a nogitsune feeds off chaos, strife and pain. This morning, you took it from Isaac, then you took it from Coach. Not to mention your own." Kennedy struggled for air, "All that pain. You took it all. Now, give it to me."

Kennedy groaned in as she felt a wave through her body, Black veins covering Stiles's arm as he took the pain from the girl. She choked out as he rolled his eyes back at the pleasure. "You really have to learn, Babe. You really have to learn not to trust a fox." Kennedy shook her head, realizing all day, that this was never Stiles. "Know why? 'Cause they're tricksters. They'll fool you. They'll fool everyone." Kennedy groaned in pain, feeling her head slam against what the wall behind her. She reached her hand up to the one around her throat, struggling for air. "Who's the weak one now, Kennedy?" Kennedy shook her head, not sure what that meant. She never found Stiles weak. Stiles was the strongest person she knew. Unless Stiles thought of himself as weak, she realized as she looked at the possessed boy in front of her.

"Please don't do this." She croaked, her eyes landing on the face in front of her.

Stiles.

She remembered the repetitive dream. It was of this moment. Stiles smirked wickedly at her, "You're just so pathetic." He crooned, nearing his face towards hers. He inhaled deeply, causing Kennedy to turn her head away. "Your boyfriend gave up on you, Kennedy, just like you should've given up on him months ago."

It couldn't be true. Stiles wouldn't have let this happen. Kennedy felt tears rolling down her face as she shook her head. "Stiles, please," She whispered, begging for this to stop. "I dont want to hurt you." Her eyes turned red, but she fought back as much as she could. She didn't want to hurt him. She couldn't. She pulled at his hands, but he was far too strong, even for her.

Stiles laughed in her face, causing her to close her eyes in fear. "Hurt me? You think, you can hurt me?" Kennedy stayed silent. He snarled, grabbing her face and forcing her to look into his eyes. "YOU. ARE. NOTHING." He shouted. Kennedy screamed as he slammed her body into the wall, the drywall cracking around her as she struggled for air. "You. Are. Weak."

Someone appeared behind Stiles. "What about now?" Deaton places a needle in Stiles's neck, causing the boy to grunt in surprise. He let out a gasp, slowly letting go of Kennedy. He stumbled backwards, feeling himself go numb. Kennedy watched as Stiles slowly fell to the ground, passing out.

Kennedy felt the air back in her lungs, reaching up to her definitely bruised neck. Scott suddenly woke up, looking over at the knocked out Stiles. Scott watched Deaton grab hold of the sword, ripping it out of Scott's stomach.

Scott let out a loud groan in pain, breathing heavily as he looked at Kennedy. She walked over, eyeballing the passed out Stiles on the floor. "What was that? Was that a cure? Is he okay?" Scott asked Deaton.

"The fox is poisoned. But it's not dead." Deaton replied. Kennedy looked down at Stiles again. "Not yet."

i love seeing your guys's theories & ideas in the comments, it's really fun even when y'all are screaming worried about what i'm going to do about certain plot points. or i do something y'all didn't think i'd do, or im ruining kennedy's life! though, all i do is ruin kennedy's life. the rest of this season is evidence of that.

anyways, so, this chapter was fun! the next two are echo house (i split it up because i can), & that will also be fun. not really. thank you for the love, as always. i'll see you probably tomorrow because i need to stop writing this story so fast-
