━━━━༺❀༻━━━━

Dear Diary,

Remind me to never go to France again. Because spending a week and a half with Isaac and Ethan was literal chaos because neither of those two know a thing about the French language, culture, or even food. Thankfully Chris taught me some, and he and I spent some free time training. Oh, and then there's also the part where when Ethan and I were in London we saw Jackson. That was great, amazing, even, except when Ethan got so drunk he ripped off his shirt in the middle of the bar.

Embarrassing. I know.

But now I'm spending my last week and a half of vacation in Mexico, and for the first night I'm going clubbing. Dads off doing who knows what, leaving amazing little ole me to live the party life.

"No, Jackson. I already told you! Wear the red shirt." Kennedy hissed into the phone, standing at the bar of a small club. She downed a shot, putting down a 100 dollar bill. The tender waves her off, giving her thumbs up as he takes the money.

"But what if he hates it?"

Kennedy scoffed. "Ethans a man! He's not going to care even with the basic intelligence his mind can muster. But, red usually correlates to sexy, which you, Jackson Whittemore, are very much that." She explained. Kennedy looked around the dancing bodies of the club, trying to decide what group she'd best fit in with.

"You know what? You're right. I'll wear the red." Jackson said finally. "Thanks, Kenny. Youve always been the better one at picking first date outfits."

"What can I say? I'm a matchmaker!" Kennedy gushed, "Alright, adios, it's time for me to party," The two did a virtual platonic kiss (which would've been a kiss on the cheek in person), ending their conversation. Kennedy sighed, putting her phone away. She peers around the crowd, jumping in with a random group of girls and starting to dance.

It was refreshing, the last month of Kennedy's life. Filled with little to know drama relating to the supernatural. Lately, she's just been going to different places and partying all night and drinking coffee all day. Kennedy moves her body to the beat, throwing her hands in the air. She takes shot after shot, knowing she won't feel anything from it. She bumped into someone behind her, causing her to turn around. Kennedy opens her mouth to apologize, but stops when she sees who it is.

Malia Tate, her dear friend, is dancing in the middle of a club in Mexico. The werecoyote comes to a stop. "Kennedy!" The girl shouts in excitement. The pair hug each other tightly.

"Malia! What are you doing here?" Kennedy asks, the two of them slightly moving to the beat.

"I'm dancing!" Malia pauses, "Your hair! It's different!"

Kennedy rolls her eyes, "Yeah I got it dyed." She explained. She shook her head. "Why are you dancing in Mexico?"

Malia shrugged, "I guess this Derek guy is missing, and we think the people who run this place have him." She explained.

"Wait, Derek's missing?" Kennedy asked in disbelief. "What the hell? And nobody told me?"

Kira rushes over, "Somethings happening." Her eyes shift to the Hale. "Kennedy! What are you doing here?"

Kennedy looks between the two girls. "Well, I was clubbing, but I just heard Derek is missing?" Kennedy looked at Kira in confusion. "Who else is here?" The two girls share a look.

"Everyone." Kira answers. The Hale's eyes soften, wondering if- "Including Stiles."

Stiles.

It had been a little over a month since the two last spoke. Kennedy had missed him every day. However, Isaac, Ethan, and Jackson made sure she never called. Instead, they made sure her trip was not about boys, and they spent it trying gross expensive foods. But now, he was here. Somewhere in this building.

"So what's going on?" Kennedy asks, trying to stay on subject.

Kira shrugs, "I don't know." She said, looking around. Kennedy did the same, noticing workers were acting tense, eyeballing the crowd. "What do we do?"

Kennedy looks over, "Dance," She grabbed Kira by the hips, pulling her close. Kira squeaked as the two girls began to dance to the music. Malia laughed, joining in. The three girls danced, moving their bodies with the crowd. Malia looked over to watch a man speak in Spanish to a walkie-talkie. People began to huddle around them, and it felt almost freeing for Kira to be able to do this.

"How did you even get in?" Kira asked the Hale girl. Kennedy eyeballed the other staff in the place, moving herself to the music.

"A girl and her boyfriend thought I was cute," Kennedy answered honestly. Malia and Kira shrugged, as if saying fair enough.

Kira looked over her shoulder. Kira looks over Hazel's shoulder, her eyes widening when she sees a man with a gun. She gestures to him, causing Kennedy and Malia to look over. Kennedy looks around, seeing another person coming towards them. "Ready?" Malia asks the two. Kira nods, preparing her glowing nunchucks.

"Oh, you got nunchucks now?" Kennedy asks in surprise. All three girls turned to different directions. A male guard approaches Kennedy, holding out his gun. Kennedy smirks as she grabs his arm, twisting it backwards. He groans as he drops the gun. Kennedy lifts up her knee, hitting him in the groin, before kicking him to the ground and slamming his head in. Kennedy stands up straight just as Kira and Malia do. Kennedy looks over to see another man approaching. She stops when she sees none other than Scott McCall, quickly shoving the guy into a pilar. Scott lifts up the guard by the throat, before throwing him into the wall.

Scott turned around, looking at Malia and Kira. What he didn't expect to see, was his girl best friend. "Kenny?" He was shocked to say the least. Kennedy had cut off most ties with everyone over her vacation, and seeing her now was both worrying and a blessing.

"Hey! Funny seeing you here!" Kennedy said awkwardly, waving at the werewolf. The teens all join in the middle, and Scott gives the girl a hug. Kennedy closed her eyes for a moment, just enjoying the embrace of not only her best friend, but her partner in crime (metaphorically, for the most part). "Okay, so where are we going now?"

Scott gestures his head to a hallway. "Come on," He says. The three girls quickly follow him. The hallway was all red, and you could still see the pipes for the building. Kennedy looked around as she followed her friends. Kennedy didn't expect to come to Mexico to find her friends, but this was far more entertaining.

The four teens come down another hallways. They hadn't seen a single other person. Suddenly, steam begins to fill the space. Scott looks around, when suddenly the smoke comes from up above as well. It smacks them all in the face. Kennedy begins to cough wildly, realizing exactly what it was. "Wolfsbane. It's Wolfsbane!" Scott shouts. "Kira! Get out of here!"

Kira looks around confused when they see a man with a gun walk over. Having a hard tome to see, Kira tries to fight him, but is quickly knocked to the ground. Kennedy struggled for air as she looked up, seeing a figure approach them.

"Someone who has been an Alpha only a few months should be more careful when facing a hunter of 40 years."

It was a woman's voice. And whoever this woman was, clearly didn't know Kennedy was theres Scott pants as he looks up. "All we want is Derek."

"My lobito, you're a long way from home."

Kennedy coughs as she looks up. Her vision is blurt as she looks over at Scott. "You don't know where he is either." He said in realization. Kennedy watched the woman's smirk fall. Scott looks up at the lady, who begins to electrocute him quickly. Kennedy looks at the woman, growling.

The hunter looks down. "Your friends did not mention a beta." She said slowly. Kennedy snarls, her eyes turning red.

"Try an Alpha, Grandma."

With one last push, Kennedy stood up, roaring loudly as she kicks the electrocution device out of the woman's hands. Guards begin to shoot bullets at Kennedy, but she misses most as she charges at the elderly woman. A bullet fires into her shoulder, causing her to stumble. Kennedy roars as she looks up, still charging at the woman. With Kennedy's bad luck, however, the stumble had given the hunter enough time to grab the electrocution device, sending it straight through the Hale's chest.

Stiles watched as everyone was dragged into the room. Kira, Malia, Scott. He was confused when he saw fourth guard walk in, carrying a body. He frowned, not recognizing the outfit. The guard carelessly tosses the person to the ground, and Stiles almost couldn't believe so it was.

Kennedy Dawn Hale.

Her hair was lighter. Before, it was a dark brown. It would get lighter in the summers usually, but she always preferred it darker. Now, it was a light auburn. Why the hell was she here? He knew her last stop was Mexico, but he thought she'd choose somewhere more luxurious. Stiles rushed to her aid, putting her head in his lap. She looked just as beautiful as he remembered, perhaps even more beautiful, if that was possible. A month without her felt like decades, as dramatic as that sounds.

Kira groaned, sitting up. She looked over. "What the-" She looks at the room they're in, standing up. "What is this place?"

Stiles looks over. "I don't know." He said honestly. He looked down at Kennedy again, seeing her leather jacket. It had a hole in it. Stiles frowned as he investigated further. "Oh my god."

Malia sat up, rubbing her head. "Ow." She mumbled. She looked over, her and Kira seeing a panicking Stiles. "What is it?" She asked the boy.

"Ken, she- she was shot."

Kira and Malia share worried looks, both of them rushing to Kennedy's side. They helped Stiles get her jacket off, seeing her shirt slowly being stained with blood. Kennedy groaned, slowly coming out of unconsciousness. "What do we do?" Kira asked.

"Won't she heal?" Malia deadpanned.

Stiles shook his head. "Not if she still has the bullet in her." He said slowly. He tried to think quickly. "Malia, you try and get the door, as youre the strongest one here. Kira, hold down her legs."

"What? Why?"

Stiles turned, looking at the kitsune. "Because I'm about to take out a bullet out of my alpha girlfriend who I haven't seen in a month." He explained. Kira's eyes slightly widened, and she nodded slowly. Unsure how to keep Kennedy down, Kira practically sits on the Hale. Malia pulled on the door, unable to move it. Stiles sighed, looking down at the sleeping Kennedy. "I'm so sorry, Baby,"

Suddenly, Stiles pushes into the bullet wound. Kennedy's eyes shoot open, already their Alpha red. Kennedy screams in pain, trying to kick her legs as she looks at her shoulder. She closes her eyes tightly, hardly focused on anyone or anything around her. Stiles fiddled with the bullet with his finger tip. He grabbed onto it. Kennedy howled out, her hand gripping the person next to her, who she still failed to realize was Stiles. Her claws dug into his skin, and Stiles huffed in pain. He pushed through, pulling the bullet out of the girls skin.

Kennedy gasped out, her eyes opening as she already began to feel her body heal. She slowly turned her head seeing who it was that did that. Stiles looked down at her, holding the blood covered bullet between his fingers. He looked the same, pretty much. The same sweet, loving, perfect Stiles. He gave her a closed mouth smile, pushing her now short hair out of her face.

"Hey,"

His voice. God, how she missed his voice. It was like everything made sense again, seeing Stiles in front of her. Kennedy slowly sat up, wincing as she adjusted her healing arm. Kira and Malia shared a knowing look, snickering as they watched the former couple.

"Hi."

Stiles couldn't help but smile. And, of course, Kennedy cheekily smiled back. It was 110% cheesy, and dramatic, but neither of them cared. They always had a flair for that kind of stuff anyways.

Something causes everyone to look over. Kira stands over Scott. "He's awake." Malia and Stiles help pull Kennedy to her feet. "Guys, he's awake."

Stiles held onto Kennedy, looking down at their friend. "Scott, you okay?" He asked. Kennedy leaned onto Malia as Kira and Stiles help the other Alpha sit up.

"They don't have him. They don't have Derek."

Kira nods, "We know. But right now, they've got Lydia."

Kennedy snaps her head up, "Lydia?" She repeats, looking at the group.

"What do they want with Lydia?" Scott asked.

"She's a banshee," Kennedy mumbled. "Maybe they want to kill people, I don't know!" She says in annoyance. Scott suddenly stands up, rushing to the door. Kennedy groans, rubbing her shoulder again.

Malia looks over. "Are you okay?" She genuinely asks, looking at her friend.

Kennedy nods, "I will be soon." She huffs out. Malia nods, staying close to Kennedy. While the Hale was gone, Malia struggled a bit. She didn't have her usual safe space like before. Sure, these people were nice, but not as nice as the video chats with Kennedy (Malia was the only one that Kennedy actually talked to while on her trip, breaking her no Beacon Hills rule), or the sleep overs they had before. Now that she's back, Malia felt a bit better.

Scott grabs onto the door, trying to pull it as hard as he can. Kennedy looks at Malia, both of them knowing that won't work. "We already looked for a way out. I think a lot of people have." Says Kira, her hands on her hips.

Malia looks over. "I say when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it." She bluntly states.

Kira turns to the Tate. "What about Lydia?"

Malia shrugged. "What about her?"

"We're not leaving without her." Says Scott.

Malia frowns at him. "Why not?"

Kennedy slowly turns to Malia, grabbing the Tate's hand "M, remember what we said? Because we don't leave without people." She explained softly. "Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends." Malia looked at Kennedy, nodding in understanding.

"Is that what you would do as a coyote, leave her for dead?" Asks Kira.

Malia nods. "If she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her." Everyone looks at her. "Then I'd leave."

Kennedy shrugs. "Believe it or not, that's actually progress." She retorts, giving Malia an awkward smile.

"All right, guys, we're not dead yet." Scott points out. "And that means Araya wants something."

"But if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that means they didn't take him from the loft. Right?" Kira asks.

Stiles offers up an idea. "Maybe he left on his own." He says optimistically. Everyone slowly turned to Kennedy. The Hale herself who knew Derek better than anyone.

Kennedy slowly looked up, shaking her head. "Maybe someone else got to him." She said. They all shared a look, unsure who that would be.

Suddenly, the doors swing open, a group of the Calavera's men storming in. Kennedy turned around, watching as they go after Scott. Kennedy screams as Scott falls to the ground, electrocuted. She looked up, growling lowly.

Stiles grabbed Kennedy by her waist, pulling her backwards. "No, Scott!" Kennedy shouts as the men pull Scott out of the rooms. They threaten them each with their tools, another man grabbing Kira. "No!" The doors slammed shut, and Malia approached it, trying to pull it open. "Why would you do that?" Kennedy asks, looking at Stiles.

"Because if you're injured, we can't get out of here." He explained. Kennedy raises a brow in confusion. "We need you, clearly, as we didn't plan this through without you."

Kennedy shrugged, looking around the dirty room. "I guess I would've at least gotten us trapped in the club instead of in here." She chimes, nodding in thought. She looks at Stiles, "Okay, what do you want me to do?"

༺❀༻

Kennedy sat on the floor, listening to the sounds around them. Malia and Stiles watched her, waiting. "Do you hear them?"

"No because I'm too busy hearing you," Kennedy remarks, keeping her eyes closed as she tried to focus on something, anything.

"Can you hear Scott?" Malia asks.

Stiles nods, "Can you hear Kira, Lydia, anybody?"

Kennedy opened her eyes, throwing her hands in frustration. "I can't hear anybody." She sighed. "I can't concentrate. There's too many sounds and voices." She rambled. After spending so long not using her werewolf abilities, it was frustrating for Kennedy to even do this.

Stiles kneels downed "It's okay." He assured her, his hands resting on her legs. Both of them look down before meeting each other's eyes. "Well, just breathe. Breathe with me, all right? It's that thing you do with Malia." Kennedy nods, breathing in and out slowly. "Just focus on something. Here, look at my eyes." Kennedy nods, meeting his eyes. She wanted to kiss him. She has wanted to kiss him since he was him again, and the Nogitsune and him split bodies. "Very good. Just focus on the sound of my voice." Kennedy's eyes flickered to his lips. Was it too soon? Of course it was too soon. But did she care? Well, that was up for debate. "All you have to do is try to concentrate. Concentrate-" Kennedy cuts him off with a kiss. Malia raises a brow, turning away slowly and mentally making a note to tell Kira all about this later.

It felt just like before. All of the times before. The butterflies, the fireworks, whatever people call it in the romance movies that Kennedy hated to watch. Stiles leaned into the kiss instantly, as if it was a second nature. His hand slowly cupped her jaw, a familiar gesture that Kennedy had missed. She pulled away, her eyes their Alpha red. She listens to the sounds around them, listening closely.

Araya, the woman who was in charge, apparently, was talking to Scott. Kennedy could hear Scott's shouts of pain as they tortured him. Kennedy listened to the shock. It was electricity. They were torturing him. Kennedy looked at Stiles with a horrified look.

"They're killing him."

Kennedy stood up, rushing to the door. The lights flickered on and off in the building. Kennedy pulled in the door, a feeling buzzing through her body. She turned to Malia and Stiles, who worriedly looked at her. She began to stumble, before collapsing to the ground completely.

It was a lacrosse game from almost a year ago. Kate Argent glanced over at Chris. "Can you get turned by a scratch?" She asked him.

"If the claws go deep enough."

The vision shifts to a different night. The night Kennedy remembered who she was. Kate looks at Allison, who's eyes are watering as she shakes her head in plea. "I'm sorry." She whispered. A younger Kennedy stared at Kate for a long moment, feeling no remorse from the Argent.

Peter takes in the statement, his hurt stare turning cold and emotionless. In a swift movement, his claws swiped across Kate's throat. Allison gasped in horror, falling to her knees. Kennedy leaned against the wall, her eyes wide as she watched the body tumble to the ground. The vision seemed to replay in her head, over and over again. "I don't know about you, Allison, but that apology didn't sound very sincere." Peter hums.

Kennedy gasped as she sat up, the sound of Scott's howl filling her ears. Malia looked up. "Kate." She blurts.

Stiles turns to his girlfriend, "It's Kate. It was Kate this whole time." She said in disbelief.

"That's impossible. It's impossible." Stiles said. lThat can't be what he said."

Malia looked between Stiles and Kennedy. "Why? Who's Kate?"

Stiles looked up, "She's a hunter. An Argent." He explained. Kennedy looked at Malia, sighing in realization, that this just got a whole lot worse.

༺❀༻

As Lydia ran outside with Kira, she gasped as she saw Kennedy standing there with Stiles and Malia. The redhead ran to her best friend, hugging her tightly. Kennedy wrapped her arms around Lydia, thankful she was okay.

The group all waited for Scott outside, standing next to Stiles's Jeep, "K, why don't you have a car?" Malia asked Kennedy.

"Because I hadn't gotten my rental yet," Kennedy answered honestly.

Scott walks over. "So what now?" Asks Stiles.

"She thinks she knows where we can find Derek."

Malia pursed her lips, looking between them all. "She gonna tell us where?" She asks.

"Uh, actually, she's giving us a guide."

The sound of a motor bike causes them all to turn their heads. Kennedy furrows her brow as she watches the girl take off her helmet. The first thing she notices is the scar along the girls neck. "You know her?" Stiles's asks.

"Braeden."

Kira shakes her head. "Who's Braeden?" She asks, clearly confused.

Kennedy leans over. "She's a mercenary." She answers shortly.

Braeden looks between them all. "Right now, I'm the only one who's gonna take you to la iglesia."

"The Church?" Lydia translated,

"What's The Church?" Asks Stiles.

Braeden turned to look at the Stilinski. "It's not a place you'll find God."

Braeden drives her bike, the Jeep following. Kennedy sat in the middle of Scott and Stiles. It was kind of uncomfortable, considering what she was sitting on isn't even a real seat, but there wasn't enough room for four teenage girls in the back.

Malia leaned forward, her chin resting on Kennedy's shoulder. "Okay, I'll ask. Who's Kate Argent?"

Also in the back, Kira raises her hand. "Uh, I'd like to know too." She followed.

"Well, we were at her funeral." Stiles begins, glancing at Scott "So, I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground."

Scott shrugs, "She was never in it."

"She was Allison's aunt." Lydia says finally. "And a total sociopath."

Kira looks over to Scott, knowing how hard this must be to talk about. "You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to."

Malia turned around. "Um, yes, he does."

"Yeah, she's right." Scott mumbled, "You guys should know. You need to know."

Stiles glanced at Kennedy, seeing an unreadable expression on her face. "Kate was the one who set the fire that killed most of Derek and I's family. My Aunt Talia, our grandparents," Kennedy fell silent for a moment as she remembered the fire vividly. "She's the one that killed my mom." She said finally. Kira's face softened, and everyone fell silent for a moment. "Some of them survived, like Cora, Peter, and I."

"A very angry Peter." Lydia adds.

Scott nods, "Yeah, he's the one who bit and turned me." He says under his breath.

Lydia nods, "And the one who finally caught up to Kate and killed her."

Stiles looks over. "But we saw her buried."

Scott shook his head. "No. We saw a casket, remember? She wasn't in it." Malia looked between the two boys, listening closely. "The Calaveras heard that Kate had been killed by an Alpha's claws. They wanted to make sure she was really dead." Scott explained the story Araya told him. "Her body started healing. More and more, as she got closer to a full moon. She was coming back. So they switched out the bodies. So they took her."

Kennedy looked up, "If a hunter is bit, they have to take their own life before they change." She says, knowing that from Peter.

"The Calaveras, they treat the code like law. They make it their responsibility to enforce it."

Malia shrugs. "Good for her. I wouldn't do it either." She explains.

Kennedy looks at Malia in the mirror. "Would you kill half a dozen people to get out? Because that's what Kate did." The car fell silent for a moment, thinking about what happened.

"So Kate's a werewolf now?" Kira asks, looking at the McCall.

Scott shook his head. "I don't know." He says. "You know, there's a saying, sometimes the shape you take reflects the person you are."

"Like our friend Jackson, who was a Kanima after he was bit." Kennedy explains.

"What kind of shape is sociopathic bitch?" Asks Lydia. Suddenly, the blue Jeep began to make strange noises, coming to an abrupt stop. Braeden spun around, pulling to a stop in front of the vehicle. Everyone began climbing out, Stiles helping the Alpha girl out.

Braeden walks over. "What happened?"

Stiles shakes his head. "I don't know. It felt like we hit something." He says awkwardly. He walks around, trying to see what it was.

"Scott, we need to get there by night. It's too dangerous otherwise."

The McCall looked at his friends. Stiles nodded. "Go."

Scott declined. "Not without you."

"Dude, someone needs to find Derek. We'll figure something out. We always do." Stiles explains.

"I'll stay here," Kennedy announces. "An Alpha there and an Alpha here." She muttered. Scott nods, walking towards the bike. Kira runs over, and Kennedy giggles. Malia looks around the car. Lydia looks at the engine with Kennedy. "Since when did that happen?" Kennedy asked.

"Since forever." Lydia muttered. The two girls share a giggle, watching Scott drive off.

"Stiles." Malia says, causing both girls to turn towards her. "I don't think we hit something." She stood up, holding what looked like a large claw. "I think something hit us." Kennedy glances at Stiles, who slowly took the claw in his hand.

Kennedy swallowed nervously. "Yeah, cause this is how I want to spend my weekend." She muttered sarcastically.

༺❀༻

After a long time of practically nothing happening with the Jeep, Kennedy stood with Lydia. Kennedy slid off her jacket, throwing it in the backseat. She looked at her shoulder, seeing her white top covered in blood. "Oh, come on!"

Lydia looked over at Stiles. "Maybe we should just walk." She said finally.

"Hey, I will never abandon this jeep." Answered Stiles. "You understand me? Ever. Ever. Ever." He struggled with the car, but didn't seem worried about anything else. Kennedy walked over to Malia, both girls looking in the same direction. A sound Kennedy couldn't identify caused her to look around.

"Work faster, Stiles." The were-coyote said. Kennedy studied their surroundings. As much as she knew they weren't alone, she couldn't see anything either. "There's something out here with us." Malia cooly stated. Stiles and Lydia looked at Kennedy in worry. She glances at them, nodding in agreement.

Hours went by, and the sun eventually set. When nightfall finally came around. Kennedy helped Stiles as much as she could. But it wasn't much help, considering she didn't know a thing about cars. Kira whipped out her katana from the back of Stiles's Jeep. The human boy looked up. "Lydia, could you please hold the light still for a second? It's really hard to see anything if you keep shaking it like that." He complained.

Lydia glared at him. "I'm shaking it like this because we're in the middle of nowhere with your broken down jeep and we're being attacked by yet another razor-clawed monster." She hissed. Lydia exhaled sharply, "And I'm terrified." She added.

"Well, just be slightly less terrified." He snapped, "And hold this."

He handed some random thing to Lydia. "What's this?" She asked. He looked up, shrugging.

"I don't know. I'm hoping it's not important." He muttered.

"Oh, God." Lydia whispered.

Kira walked up to Kennedy and Malia. "Anything?" Asked the Kitsune.

Kennedy shook her head, arms crossed. "It's too hard to see." She stated.

"K's right, we should've brought another flashlight." Malia said. Kira glanced at her sword in thought. Kira walked towards the Jeep, adjusting her sword so it could spread more light. The three girls look around the dark desert. Something moves from behind a rock. "Did you see that?" Asked Kira. Kira looks at the two girls.Their eyes change into their werewolf colors. Roaring, Kennedy runs off, Malia . "Guys, wait!"

"What, Kennedy!" Stiles stumbled, scrambling to get off the Jeep.

However, Lydia stops him. "Kira, go! You. Fix the Jeep." Kira runs off, and Stiles looks over. "Stiles! Focus!" She scolds.

Kennedy ran to where she saw the figure. She looks around, her eyes still red. There was no sign of either Malia or Kira. Something whips behind her, and she quickly turns around, seeing nothing. She growls, flicking out her claws. Suddenly, something grabs her by her ankle, throwing her into the rocks. Kennedy roars out in pain, looking up. She couldn't see well, but whatever it was, was gigantic. Kennedy jumps to her feet, letting out a roar. However, it's gone again.

"Kennedy!" Malias voice called out. Kennedy looked up, and suddenly something throws her to the side again. Kennedy groans as she falls to the ground. Malia jumps down, trying to protect Kennedy. The creature, however, slashes through Malia, causing her to fall. Kennedy rushed to Malia's aid, helping her up. When they look back, he's gone.

The two girls go and find Kira. They approached her her from behind, and Kira spins around, almost hitting them. "It's us!" Kennedy says. Kira's eyes open in alarm, seeing Malia was injured.

"Are you okay? What did you see?"

"We don't know." Kennedy whispered.

"But it is big and fast. And it cuts deep." Kira looks down at Malia's side, seeing the cut. They hear what seemed to be the Jeep starting up, catching their attention. Kennedy hoists Malia up, the three girls getting out of there.

Stiles sat there impatiently. "Ken!" He shouts, running over.  Kennedy breathed heavily, grabbing onto Stiles. He looks at Malia. "Get her in," The teens help Malia into the Jeep, followed by Kira and Lydia. Kennedy climbs into the passenger side, while Stiles is in the drivers side. He stomps on the gas, speeding out of there as fast as possible.

"You," Stiles points at Kennedy. "You, please don't do that ever again!" He scolded.

Malia looked up. "Do what?"

Kennedy turned to Stiles. "Why are you so mad?"

Stiles shook his head, "I thought you just took off. I thought you were running." He began. Kennedy rose a brow at him. Lydia held up a finger to Malia, signaling her not to say anything.

"I was running." The Hale deadpanned.

Frustrated, Stiles shook his head. "No, I mean, like, I thought you were leaving again." He told her honestly. Kennedy's face softened. Kira and the two girls in the backseat shared eye contact, knowing the former couple weren't going to stay former for long.

Kennedy shook her head. "I wouldn't do that." Kennedy whispered. Stiles glanced at her, then back at the road.

"Really?" Stiles asked. He was surprised. He didn't know what answer he was expecting, but jt wasn't that.

Kennedy smiled forgot. "No, I would never leave without you."

From the backseat, Malia spoke up. "And I'd never leave without Kennedy." She looked at Kira, then at Stiles and Lydia. "You guys, I would leave."

Kennedy sighed, "It's progress." She mumbled. Stiles looked at Kennedy again. She smiles softly, feeling his hand link with hers. Kennedy looks up, seeing Stiles softly smile.

Lydia looked at Malia's cut. "That doesn't look so good."

Malia looked down. "It's okay." She chirped.

"Are you sure? It looks deep." Said Kira. Kennedy turned around, looking at the wound on her friend.

Malia nodded. "I can feel it healing."

Lydia looked between the two girls. "You didn't see anything?"

Kennedy turned to the front, shaking her head. "Barely." She replied.

"It had a strong scent, though." Said Malia.

Stiles looked at the werecoyote and the werewolf. "Like what?" He asked.

Malia glanced out the window. "Like death." She mumbled. Stiles made eye contact with Kennedy. The expression she had, he knew Kennedy agreed. Whatever was out there, it wasn't normal.

༺❀༻

It was a while until the group reached La Iglesia. Kennedy climbed out of the passenger seat, followed by Malia and Lydia. Kira got out on Stiles's side. The five of them met up in the front of the Jeep. "Okay, so now we find Scott and Derek, right?" Kennedy asks.

Stiles looks over the girls shoulder. "I don't think we need to." Kennedy spun around, seeing Braeden walk out first. Scott came out, carrying someone. Malia stood next to Kennedy, watching as the McCall and the mercenary carried whoever this was. Kennedy's eyes widen in shock.

"Is that Derek?" Malia asked the Hale. Kennedy's mouth hung open in shock as she shook her head in disbelief.

"Uh, sort of," Stiles answers for Kennedy. As Derek looks up again, it's not the Derek they knew. In fact, it's Derek when Kennedy was eight years old. Young, teenage, 17 year old Derek.

i wasnt gonna update for like two weeks or something but A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT WAS RELEASED & SO HERE WE ARE!!

WE'RE GETTING A TEEN WOLF MOVIE!!

i'm literally crying, sobbing, i almost threw up. like y'all have NO IDEA how dramatic i was. i'm literally so excited i can't even function.

& i already decided that kennedy will be getting an act 7 aka the movie. i don't even know what the movies about but I DONT CARE.

ive been thinking about going back and splitting act 1 into two parts (season 1 , season 2) but tbh they're like the same season in my brain so do i REALLY need to change it? idk i like how i'm gonna have it separated (act 4 will be s5 , act 5 will be 6A, & act 6 will be 6B because of the time jump between 6A & 6B). so idk if i'm gonna separate it at all. but that's literally not the point.

WE'RE GETTING A FUCKIN MOVIE!!!!!!!!

anyways, i like this chapter, kennedy & stiles are so cute as always. next chapters a little spicy so be excited for that. now i'm ACTUALLY not gonna post another chapter for like two weeks (or if something big happens) but if you wanna cry over tw with me follow me on tiktok or twitter, same users as here. i need more teen wolf mutuals on twitter anyways. i'll see you guys soon!

toodles!
