Used to be one of Katou's only friends in the Army, before his amnesia when Katou's name was still „Sou". Born into a strict, high ranked family, rocked a generous and relaxed personality that was part of why he was thought highly of especially among low class soliders. Was mauled to death by a stray sanitized Salmonoid on a expedition far within the underground. Sou at the time had kept the thought that Saito's death wasn't an accident to himself and hates himself for having done so.

Genuinely cares for Marina and her talents, and admires Pearl for having made her partner happy when nothing else ever could have.

Was raised in the underground by himself and a small group of Octolings which all fell victim to an early trend of self-sanitization during the first days of Kamabo's oppression around Murase's locals. Now spends the rest of his days hunting down anything fully sanitized - Less for sport, and more out of a grudge. Possesses immense grip strength and the capacity to break non-dynamo rollers by simply swinging them once with full-force.
