Steve and Peter stay up until 1am working on a school project about Captain america and the howling commandos but Peter forgot it in his hurry to get to school

Steve's pov

"It's almost half 10 Peter should be home by now" Tony says while pacing around the kitchen

As soon as I go to answer I hear a loud bang at the window which means that my genius son has just tried to swing through the closed window- again

"there he is" I say through a sigh as I walk towards the window to let in Peter

"Pops!" Peter says urgently pulling me with him to the living room "I need to get this project done!"

"What project?" I ask as he pulls out card and markers from the press

"It's on the howling commandos I was hoping you could help me" he says "it's due tomorrow but I completely forgot and MJ just rang me to remind me"

"Of course I'll help you" I say but I'm obviously annoyed he forgot about it until the last minute

We work on the project for hours and it's not finished until after 1am

I tell him everything about my old team and I even get Bucky to record a video with me for Peter to show his class

"I think it's time for bed" I say to Peter who is writing his name at the bottom of the project

"Yeah you're right" Peter says and walks to his and wandas room he stops at the door and waves to me "night pops"

"Night Pete" I say and go to mine and Tony's room

Time skip

I wake up around 9 but Tony is already awake so I get ready and go look for him and instead I find Peters project still lying on the floor in the living room where we left it last night

How is he the smartest person in this building and still an idiot

I pick up the project and make my way down to the garage under the building

Peters pov

"So Peter what did you do your project on?" Mr Harrington asks

"I did it on captain America and the howling commandos" I say and go to grab it out of my bag- shit

I forgot my project, how did I forgot my project

"Can someone else go before me" i say and my teacher nods moving onto the next student

Flash goes up and does his project on Spider-Man which is very entertaining but also I'm dying on the inside, how do I forget a project that is literally in the middle of the floor of the room I was in all morning

Halfway through Flash's project I hear people talking excitedly in the hall and look over to the door and see my pops walk into the room

He doesn't see me so he looks to the teacher

"Is Peter Parker here? He forgot his project at the tower" pops says and I feel my face heating up

"No way puny penis Parker left his project in avengers tower there's no reason he would be there" flash says and I see my pops glare at him

"Uh hi Mr America sir" I say "what are you doing here"

"There's no way I'm letting you start calling me that again" pops says looking at me angrily but I know he's annoyed at flash not me

Everyone gasps and I see flash grin at his friends

"Aha is penis Parker getting in trouble with captain America" Flash says and his friends all laugh

"No peter is not" pops says "you are though, how dare you call my son penis, his name is Peter Benjamin Parker Stark Rogers"

I see flash go pale and laugh a bit "you're joking, right?"

"Can I stay for his project?" Pops says choosing to ignore flash

"Uh- sure" Mr Harrington says and looks at me "peter do you want to go next"

"Yeh sure" I say "my name is Peter Parker- Stark Rogers" I say the last a bit nervously but I see Mj and Ned look at me with big smiles

"I'm doing my project on the howling commandos and captain America, the source of all my information is my pops Steve Rogers AKA Captain america so it's all primary as he was there when it happened"

The presentation is over and I see my whole class looking up at me with their mouths wide open, they looked stunned, but pops has a smile on his face and tears in his eyes

"Wow" mr Harrington says "that was brilliant Peter definitely one of your best projects yet"

"Thank you sir" I say and I walk to the back of the room where pops is still standing

"Peter!" I hear from the hallway "oh my god Peter we have a problem!"

A huge man with shoulder length black hair barges into the room "I can't find Steve!" Bucky shouts but stops when he sees Steve at the back of the room

"Hi uncle buck" I say with a smile and I hear a faint thud from the other side of the room

"Did flash just faint?" I hear Betty ask

I haven't posted in so long omg
Idk how often I will be able to because I got a new job, I'm in school and I've started boxing three times a week and my schedule is so full atm
