Peter's POV

My name is Peter Benjamin Parker. For a while I was known as the winter spider but now I'm a sophomore in high school

I was alive during the 2nd world war, of course it wasn't called that then but that's what people call it nowadays

I don't remember much from back then because when I was 16 I was taken by hydra and they erased my mind or they tried to. There was always something that I tried to remember but at this point I don't know what it was

I think I had friends back in the 40s but I'm not so sure. I have memories of a blond boy and a brown haired boy but I'm not sure who they are and their faces are a bit blurred

Anyway what does it matter they're probably dead

I walk into school on a pretty gloomy Monday. I really hate going to school, I'm probably the last in my class because half the stuff we learned in my school was apparently wrong

Also everytime a teacher comes near me after i get a question wrong I flinch so now the teachers think I'm being abused, which is 100% false but the scars from Hydra definitely don't help in May's case

The world was a lot different in the 1940s and now we don't even have those flying cars that we were promised. See of course it's random shit like that I remember and not my family and friends, if I had any

Maybe that's the problem. There is no one to remember

"Sup Loser" MJ says as I walk in, I smile at her but pull up my hood further making her frown

I wear a hood and gloves to cover my face and hands. I don't have any metal limbs like the winter soldier but I do have a lot of scars that I don't want people to see

"Hey Pete" Ned says placing a hand on my shoulder making me flinch. He removes his hand away quickly after realising I was uncomfortable "are you ok?"

"I'm fine, sorry" I say and Ned smiles at me sadly

"It's ok man" ned says and we start to walk to class, today we have a field trip to Stark Industries but first we have to watch some PSA that a super hero made

I don't really know how I feel about these superheroes. I know of them obviously but none by name

They seem good but I feel like I rather stay in the shadows when I'm fighting crime, I've gone out a few times in a hoodie and mask. I took out a few muggers and petty thieves but I feel like I could do more

After I killed so many people in Hydra I feel like doing this and stopping bad guys from doing what I did to other people will help me make up for what I did

I sit down at my desk in the class and the teacher turns on the projector and a man in a blue suit appears... he looks really familiar but I can't place from where

Steve? That's his name. He was my friend. Is he still alive? Where is he now?

On the screen Steve starts talking about representing your school on a fieldtrip and how to set a good example for your peers but all I can think about is my past

I did have friends. Steve and... there was someone else but I can't place his name.

This other guy was more to me than Steve I think, I think I loved him... like more than a friend

He had beautiful brown hair, perfectly cut and I remember he was a soldier, so was I but Steve was too small

He is a lot bigger now but definitely my Steve

"Is he still alive?" I say to Ned who laughs a bit

"Of course he is" Ned says "he's Captain America, I knew you didn't know a lot about superheroes but honestly Peter"

I almost start to cry, my best friend is still alive... how is he still alive?

"When was he born?" I ask and Neds eyes widen

"You really don't know anything" he laughs "he was frozen in ice since the 40s"

"Same as me then" I say and Ned laughs

"You really are hilarious sometimes Peter" he says "we might see Captain America today"

"Really? He lives at Stark Tower?" I ask excitedly and Ned nods almost as excitedly as me

Time skip

We pull up outside the tower and I feel my stomach turn, will I see Steve? If i do see him will he remember me? How will he act when he sees me? Does he even want to see me?

All these questions race through my head as I look up at the big A on the side of the tower

"Come on Pete" Ned says as we walk into the reception, me a bit behind the group.

"What is it, Parker, are you afraid they'll kick you out because you're not smart enough?" Flash asks and I glare at him

He knows i was a bit behind in class and uses that to try get to me sometimes. I'm catching up quick enough though and I'm already ahead of him

"Flash shut the fuck up before I make you" I say and he does, he's already learned that i could hurt him if i wanted to

One time when i had first joined the school he made the mistake of taking a group of boys to beat me up. Lets just say none of them made it out unscathed

We are met by our tour guide, Harley. The girls and some of the boys seem to be freaking out over our tour guide being him but I don't know who he is

"Who is he?" I ask Ned who looks at me with his jaw dropped

"That's Harley Stark" ned says and I shake my head to say I still have no clue who he is "Tony stark's son"

"Is he that billionaire that owns this place? The Iron can? Iron boy? Crime fighting tin can?"

"Iron man" Ned mumbles and I nod "his son, Harley, is Iron Lad, another superhero"

"Oh cool" I say and nod my head, this place is pretty cool

"My name is Harley Keener Stark" Harley says and I see him smile at me but I look away, I feel like I'm looking for someone, most likely Steve

"So now we're going up for a gym session with the Black Widow and Captain America" Harley Says

"Steve!" I shout and Harley looks back at me and nods "sorry"

"It's ok" Harley laughs "is he your favourite?"

"Shut up" I say, he's acting like I am a little kid even though we're probably the same age

"Okay then" harley says a bit awkwardly "let's head up to the gym now"

We walk into an elevator and Harley says something to no one in particular but the elevator starts moving up

We get off on one of the higher floors and walk into a big gym. I see two figures sparring in the middle of a mat on the floor

"Omg that's captain America and the black widow" Ned squeals in my ear. Steve?

When the two superheroes notice the group they walk over and stand in front of us

"I'll be back in a bit" Harley says and walks out of the room towards the elevator

Nat starts talking about fighting stances and how to not die during a fight but I'm just paying attention to steve who's looking at us all one by one

He stops when he see's me and I see his eyes water which make me start to cry too

"Peter?" He whispers and I nod making him cry even more, now people are noticing Steve crying

"Steve? Are you ok?" Natasha asks him and leads him away from the group

She comes back a minute later and asks "which one of you guys is Peter?" I raise my hand, tears still staining my cheeks, and a few people snicker while others just look confused

"Parkers in trouble" flash laughs and I glare in his direction

"Come with-" Natasha starts but Steve walks over and interrupts her

"No it's ok" Steve walks over and pulls me into a hug, we're both still crying and now my class are very confused

"I thought you were dead" Steve says

"I thought you were dead" I reply and he laughs "I don't remember everything, I was taken by Hydra and they made me forget things"

"The same thing happened to Bucky" Steve says and I look at him confused. Bucky?

"I recognise that name" I say and Steve looks at me sympathetically "did I know him?"

"Yeah you did know him" Steve says and I frown "Friday, ask Bucky to come down here"

The ceiling replies saying Bucky will be down in a few minutes

"Mind explaining any of this?" An obnoxious voice says from behind me but I ignore him

"What age are you now, Pete?" Steve asks and I do a bit of math in my head

"Well I'm 17 biologically but actually about 104" I say and I hear Ned gasp

"You weren't joking about being frozen" ned says and I nod my head

"What about you?" I ask Steve "what age are you?"

"I'd be about 105 but I'm around 22 because I've been out of the ice longer than you and Bucky" steve said and I nod

"Is bucky the brown haired boy I can remember?" I ask Steve who smiles and nods

"He probably is" Steve says "you and him loved each other very much"

"What is it Steve?" Someone asks from the elevator and I turn around to see him

Bucky! I do remember Bucky, he was the boy I loved. I smile at him and he bursts into tears. I run into his arms and hug him tight

"Peter?" He asks, I nod and I start to cry "I thought you were dead?" He says

"Hydra" I reply through sobs making him hug me tighter

"I love you" I whisper and he pulls back a bit and kisses me

"I missed you so much" Bucky says when we pull apart and I kiss him again

"What the fuck" someone says from the elevator and I see both Harley and who i assume is his dad, Tony, standing in the doorway

"This is Peter" bucky says and Harley nods

"He's a student at midtow. why were you kissing him?" Harley asks at the same time as his dad says

"I'm gonna need more than "this is Peter"" people in my class nod in agreement

"I'm from the 40s" I say and a few people in my class snicker

"He's that Peter?" Harley asks and Steve and Bucky both nod

"Peter was my boyfriend back in the 40s" Bucky says and a few girls in my class nod

"I can see that" betty says and I smile at her

"Theres no way you guys believe this bullshit" flash says and I roll my eyes

"I was taken by Hydra in the 40s and was experimented on" I explain "I was frozen that's why I'm still so young, me and Steve are actually about the same age but he woke up from the ice before me that's why I'm 17 while he's in his 20s" I explain

"I'm 19 but actually about 106" Bucky says "in case you wanted to know"

"Lets go up for some food" tony says "I'll get Gwen to finish this tour"

"Peter is obviously coming with us" Bucky says putting his arm around my shoulder and leading me to the elevator
