Innocent Rose

I'm back bitches.
———
I went my way to my (audition/interview/whatever) for my Dream Job/career!

God, I was so excited for everything!!!

I was physically shaking up with a smile on my face, hands formed into a tight fist of determination with a huge ego boost that lightened up my confidence.

I went into the building for my dream career/job, hands a bit sweaty, but deep breathes were taken.

I got the job. The questions weren't too bad, I somehow managed to answer everything so well! I guess all my rehearsals actually went well after overthinking so many nights thinking how things could've gone, man was I on a roll!!!

I came back home With a massive smile on my face with eyes filled with life & love. Nothing could ever stop this! I went up to call my friends, and tell them about how everything went. Their voices were lit up, clearly stoked that I managed!

"Hey! How about going out for drinks tonight to celebrate R/N for getting it?" One of the friends asked.

"Yeah definitely! R/N deserves all the hype!!" The other one answered.

I felt unstoppable, undefeated, like I could rule the entire world! I quickly took a bath to freshen myself up for tonight along with getting my clothes picked out for a fun night out with my friends.

My smile never left my face, I was too joyful that I never noticed my cheeks hurting from my wide smiling.

But it immediately faded away when I realized I had to call my boss to tell him that I'm quitting. Wait, why am I scared? I'm glad for fuck's sakes! I'm free from that asshole.

A smirk grew on my face as I finally got out of my bath to dry myself to call my boss to finally let him know I'm fucking out of there. I noticed he wasn't picking up his phone. That's... odd. Since a lazy fuck like him never has anything better to do, why isn't he answering my calls?

"Eh, fuck it. I'll tell him when I get to the diner tomorrow." I informed myself before getting dressed.

It's 7:46 PM. Time to head out! We all agreed to meet at 8:20 since the bar was about less than 20 minutes away from us, so it's no big deal. I got into my car, and drove off to the bar, seems we all got there at the same time.

Now, ready for some fun.

We all were having the time of our life. Loud chattering, cackling of breathless friends who couldn't stop, drinks tasting better than ever before. We all had a toast, "Cheers to R/N for finally succeeding to getting into a long-waited, long-deserved dream!" One of the friends announced. They all replied with "HALLELUJAH!" Before we all clinked our drinks together to drink at once.

"Hey, has anyone seen or heard from Enrique lately? I've been trying to call him to tell him that I've quit, and there was no response from him." I asked, and informed them about it.

They all looked confused. "Last time I saw him was when he was driving his car after the shop closed." One of my buddies told me.
"Last time I saw him I was at the diner earlier this morning." One of the others informed.

There was a sense of uneasiness when it was brought up. We soon just brushed it off thinking he was just drunk off his ass into a beer coma. The celebration continued.

Oh R/N, if only you knew what truly happened to him.
