I shouldn't have started this book knowing my scuffed schedule but FEK IT! I set a goal for this book to reach at least 30 plus chapters and I'm not stopping till that happens, Yeah!!!! Anyways, enjoy~ 🤣

Ruby POV:

I and my team had just finished our classes, unfortunately, team JNPR still had 2 more classes so Pyrrha asked my team if we could watch over (Y/n) for a bit, which I happily accepted! Currently, Weiss was at the library studying, while Yang and Blake went to Vale to go buy some stuff, which leaves me alone with (Y/n), which is great since I've always wanted to get a little closer to her but...

She is currently sitting in a corner still a bit unsure if she can trust me, so I needed a plan to make (Y/n) know that I'm not a threat, and just like that I had an amazing idea!

I run over to Yang's bed and quickly grab my stash of limited-edition cookies that I hid under her bed. I open the box as a smirk popped up in my face as I notice (Y/n) smell the delicious, cookies inside the box. I grab a piece and wave it towards (Y/n).

"Oh (Y/n)~ You want some? These are my delicious... Limited edition...Chocolate..... Chipped..... Coo-" I shake my head and snap out of it as even I started to drool and feel a bit hungry.

I then turn to see (Y/n) stand up and slowly walk towards me, as she slowly gets closer she hesitates for a bit.

"Hey, don't worry... I'm not gonna hurt you." I say as she takes another step forward. I quickly move closer and point the cookie up to her mouth. She begins to sniff it before slowly opening her mouth, and without hesitation, I quickly feed her the cookie. I stare at her for a second as she swallows it, she seems to enjoy it as she slowly moves a little closer wanting some more. Mission successful!

I quickly open the box and grab another piece to give her, I then look up to see her drooling and staring intensely at the cookie in my hand. I chuckle as I slowly raise the cookie to her.

(Y/n) POV:

As the red hooded gi- I mean Ruby, as the others call her, raise the second cookie up to my mouth, without hesitation I quickly take a big bite out of it. I begin to chew as I taste the sweet chocolaty goodness entering my mouth.

After a few seconds, I swallow the cookie, suddenly, my eyes widen and I take a step back as I get another headache immediately after.

"(Y/n)?!" I hear Ruby call out to me as I lose my consciousness and fall to the ground.

UwU Flashback!

"(Y/n)!!! You gotta try these!" The white hooded huntress says as she hands me a cookie.

"What's so special about these anyway?" I ask her as I grab the cookie out of her hand.

"What?! I'll have you know these are limited edition cookies!" She says crossing her arms.

"So, are they like... rare or something?" I say as I stare at the cookie in my hand.

"Not only rare but they're also delicious!" She exaggerates.

"If their that good why don't you share it with Q̶̡̤͖̠̓r̸͕̩͉̂͒̈́ọ̷̥̮̮̓̊ẇ̸̦̻̰̋͆ and the others? They are your teammates." I ask as I give a soft chuckle.

"Are you crazy?! If I gave them some, they would ask for more, and there wouldn't be any left for me. I only have you one since your my friend." She says as she looks away pouting.

I laugh as I took a bite out of the cookie.

Le big time skip

"(Y/n)! W-wake up! P-please!" A bloody Ṣ̴̟́̀̍̈́͜͠u̶̻̇̾̈́͝m̴̳̿̓̕͜͠ḿ̴̧͍̬̄͝ȩ̶̟̳͛̓̃̇͗r̶̯͚̞̹̭̄ shouts as she embraces me in a tight hug.

I try to open my eyes but I was too weak to do so, every part of my body was burning as blood slowly dripped down my hand, legs, and face.

"S̴̳̫̩̔̿̏͑-̵̥͉͖̊̾̕s̸̪̖̥̈͗̏u̴̩͇̔͌̔̾m̶̭̘̬̰̬̊̒m̸̥̲̅̅̎͌̚ẽ̵̝̤̰͂͑̿͘͜r̸̜͈̼̈̒̑̈́?" I manage to call her name in a shaky voice, she sighs in relief to see that I was still alive.

"(Y/n)! D-don't leave me... I-I... A-after this, we'll go back to patch, w-we'll see all our friends again, w-we'll even go to that café you love so much! J-just don't leave me..." Tears start to flow down her face as her grip on me tightens.

I try to speak but before I could say anything I hear another familiar voice that sent chills down my spine.

"Tch, so Ozpin sent another one of his silver-eyed warriors? What a disappointment." The Queen of Grimm says as she slowly walks towards us with Grimm following from behind.

Ṣ̴̟́̀̍̈́͜͠u̶̻̇̾̈́͝m̴̳̿̓̕͜͠ḿ̴̧͍̬̄͝ȩ̶̟̳͛̓̃̇͗r̶̯͚̞̹̭̄ looks at her in fear as she starts to tremble before slowly turning back to me and smiling as she whispers one last thing into my ear.

"I..."

End of Flashback 0w0?!

Third Person POV:

(Y/n) then soon wakes up from her dream to see that she was between Ruby's arms, she then looks up to see Ruby smiling at her, glad to see she's awake.

(Y/n)! Y-you're awake! A-are you ok? Y-you just passed out a mome-" Before Ruby could finish she notice (Y/n) begin to cry as she grips Ruby's arms and buries herself into Ruby's chest.

Ruby smiles and begins to pat (y/n) on the head trying to calm her down.

"Had a bad dream huh? There, there... I'll protect you..." Ruby whispers to (Y/n), comforting her.

A few minutes pass before...

"WERE BACK!~~" Yang shouts as she busts the door open and steps in with Blake not too far behind.

Yang immediately stops as she sees her sister hugging (Y/n) tightly, as (Y/n) buries her head into her little sister's chest. The 2 stares at each other in a moment of silence before Yang finally speaks up.

"Sorry for intruding!" Yang shouts as she quickly leaves and shuts the door.

"W-wait Yang it's not what it looks like!!!"

A bit of a short chapter, sorry, I'll try to make it up in the next chapter since I'll be having a friend help me out.

Also, yes, I know there haven't been many (Y/n) x RWBY scenes but just relax and read, cuz I like to take things semi-slow with this. Stuff will start getting faster as the book progresses.😅😅😅

I also feel super bad that Yang and some other characters don't have many lines, but I just can't find a perfect time for them to speak up.
