Hey everyone, I have a little announcement about my updating schedule on this book after this chapter, but before that enjoy chapter 5 :D

Ruby POV:

"Alright then! You guys all heard Ozpin, it's now our responsibility to take care of (Y/n)! First off, who's she going to stay with?" I cheerfully say as we walk together to our dorms.

"Shouldn't she be staying with someone she's more comfortable to be around with?" Blake suggests.

"Ok then, who does she like most?" I ask as everyone stops walking. A few seconds pass before everyone in the group looks at (Y/n) clinging on to Pyrrha's arm as the red-haired spartan quickly looks away blushing.

"Alright then, it's decided! (Y/n) here will be staying with Team JNPR until further notice!" I say as I point towards team JNPR.

Smol time skip~ Third person POV:

As the 2 groups arrive at their dorm entrances they all bid their farewell to each other as the two groups enter their dorms.

"Ok, first off, she needs food, she hasn't exactly had anything 'good' to eat for the last few days..." Pyrrha says to the group.

"OoOooOo~ I AND REN CAN MAKE HER PANCAKES!!!" Nora shouts excitedly as Ren sighs.

"Alright, I'll get started..." Ren says as he walks towards the kitchen while putting his apron on.

"Hmm... What else do we need...?" I murmur to myself as I think of what else (Y/n) needs.

Pyrrha then looks to her side to see Jaune sniffing the air before quickly looking at (Y/n) while covering his nose.

"Err... How about a bath?" The blonde boy suggests.

Pyrrha then begins to also sniff the air around (Y/n) before quickly backing away while covering her nose, all the while (Y/n) tilts her head not sure what's happening.

"Y-yeah, I think a bath is in order." Pyrrha says to Jaune.

"Alright, I'll get the bath ready." Jaune says as he walks towards the bathroom.

10 Minutes later~

"Alrighty, the water is ready. Here's the towel, soap, and lastly shampoo, and with that, good luck!" Jaune says as he hands all of them to Pyrrha before pushing her and (Y/n) into the bathroom.

"W-wait, aren't you guys gonna help me?" Pyrrha frantically asks as she turns around and looks back at her team with a nervous look.

"I need to finish cooking..." Ren says before walking off as Pyrrha turns to Nora.

"I-I need to help Ren!" Nora quickly says before following Ren, and as the two leave Pyrrha looks at Jaune.

"Err... I think I have detention with Ms.Goodwitch today..." Jaune says as he quickly tries to leave.

"W-wait-!" Pyrrha tries to say but Jaune quickly shuts the door leaving the two alone.

And as the door shuts, Pyrrha slowly turns to see (Y/n) poking the water in the tub.

Silence filled the room as Pyrrha nervously chuckles...

Time skip next day~ hehe no Pyrrha struggling to wash (Y/n) today for u- for now... (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

In the cafeteria, Team RWBY are sitting together with Team JNPR and (Y/n) as Pyrrha tries her best not to fall asleep.

"Wait (Y/n)! not the soap!" Pyrrha shouts as she quickly stands up snapping out of her sleepy state. She then quickly snaps back into reality and looks around the table to see Team RWBY and JNR looking at her with a concerned look.

"Err... S-sorry about that..." Pyrrha nervously says as she sits back down.

"Umm... Everything ok?" Yang asks as she looks at Jaune, Nora, and Ren.

"Nothing. Pyrrha just had... An interesting evening yesterday." Ren explains as Yang turns to (Y/n) eating the pancakes on her plate.

"Cool." Yangs says as she catches a grape thrown by Nora in her mouth.

Ruby, giving an enormous heave, slams a binder onto the table, catching everyone off guard. On the cover of the binder is written "Vytal Festival Activities, Property of Weiss Schnee". This has been hastily crossed out with a red marker pen, and with the same pen, a new title, "Best Day Ever Activities", has been written underneath. Ruby then clear her throat before speaking.

"Sisters... friends... Weiss."

"Hey!" Weiss shouts.

"Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream."

"This ought to be good." Yang says as she catches another grape in her mouth all the while Ruby was giving her 'speech'.

"A dream that one day, the four of us will come together, as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... ever!"

"Did you steal my binder?" Weiss asks as she stares at Ruby.

"I am not a crook." Ruby says as she makes a 'peace' sign with her hands.

"What are you talking about again?" Blake asks as she closes her book.

"I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!" Ruby shouts excitedly as she points to blake.

"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?" Yang says as she looks at everyone around her.

Nora tosses an apple at Yang hitting her in the face while (Y/n) growls at Yang. Yang glares at Nora.

"Boooooooooooooooo! Even (Y/n) hated it!" Nora shouts from afar.

"Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow! Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today." Ruby explains.

"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss says as she looks to Ruby.

Yang, still glaring, picks up an apple and tosses it across the room. An unfamiliar voice shouts "Hey!" from the other side of the room as Nora giggles.

"I don't know. I think I might sit this one out." Blake says as she looks down at the table.

"Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team!" Weiss says.

"I got it!" Nora shouts.

"I for one think that..." Weiss is interrupted by a pie landing on her face.

Nora is shown to be the one who threw the pie, she sits down and points at Ren who facepalms. Pyrrha's hand is over her mouth and Jaune simply sits staring wide-eyed while covering his ear with his palm. All the while (Y/n) was peacefully eating her food, oblivious of what is happening around her.

Outside the cafeteria, Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias are walking together as Sun relates the events that happened in the docks.

"Man, that's harsh." Neptune says.

"I know, we were fighting side by side against this Faunus girl. She was super fast and I threw a banana at the guy, which sounds gross, but it was awesome."

"Nice!" Neptune says as he gives a thumbs up to Sun.

"Right? And the best part is, she's a Faunus. But that's a secret, okay?"

"Got it." Neptune assures Sun as Sun leans in close to stress the importance of this secret.

"And not a, "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret", I'm talking secret  secret." The monkey Faunus explains.

"Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it. I got it!" Neptune says assuring Sun.

"You better. I just don't want to screw this up, you know? The people here are the coolest! No offense to you guys." Sun says as both of them continue to walk towards the cafeteria entrance.

"None taken."

"They're just in here. I'm really excited for you to meet them. So be cool, okay? You're gonna be cool, right?"

"Dude." Neptune says as his teeth gleam while he smiles.

"Good point."

Sun and Neptune enter the cafeteria where students are heard screaming. Many students stampede out the door past Sun and Neptune, the latter of whom is looking quite worried.

"Ahahahaha!" The two turn to see Nora on a makeshift castle made out of tables and chairs laughing along with Team JNPR and (Y/n) standing atop a tower of tables stacked in a ramshackle manner.

"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be delicious!" Ruby shouts as she crushes a carton of milk in her hand.

"Yeah!" The rest of team Ruby shouts with their fist in the air.

"Off with their heads!" Nora shouts as she points down at team Ruby, and with that, the food fight begins.

(Y/n) then leaps into the air holding two breadsticks ready to fight followed by the rest of team JNPR.

"Yang! Turkey!" Ruby yells as the rest of team RWBY goes into battle.

Yang rolls over to the turkeys and sticks her fists inside them, proceeding to block and punch the melons as they speed toward her. After some fighting, Nora knocks Weiss into a pillar. The impact knocks her out and Ruby holds her in her arms as a pillar collapses behind them.

"Weiss, Weiss! Don't leave me! Nooo!" Ruby shouts as she cradles Weiss in her arms.

The fighting resumes, ending with JNPR slammed against a cracked wall painted with soda and food. The team slides off the wall, leaving only their outlines.

( It's night, and my head feels like it got hit by a mini-truck... So I'm not gonna write the ENTIRE fight... )

"I love these guys." Sun says as Neptune is drenched with soda and is not pleased. The doors behind them open and Glynda enters the room growling. She proceeds to use telekinesis to re-organize the room.

"Children, please. Do not play with your food!" Glynda says as she adjusts her glasses.

(Y/n) burps aloud as both Team JNPR and Team RWBY try and fail to compose themselves. A screaming Yang then crashes from the ceiling into one of the tables. Glynda grumbles. Ozpin approaches and places a hand on her shoulder.

"Let it go." Ozpin says.

"They're supposed to be the defenders of the world." Glynda sighs.

"And they will be, but right now they're still children. So why not let them play the part? After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever." Ozpin says as he turns and heads for the doors before slowly turning back and staring at (Y/n) in the middle of the group.

"Besides, we have more pressing matters to attend to." He says as he exits the room.

Meanwhile~

In an old warehouse, the White Fang are moving crates as Emerald and Mercury enter.

"Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" Roman says as he approaches the two from behind and wraps his arms around them in a group hug.

"Spare us the thought of you procreating." Emerald says as she pushes Roman's hand off her.

"That was a joke. And this... just might tell me where you two have been all day." Roman says as she pulls out the piece of paper he stole from Emerald.

"What!? Agh..." Emerald glares at Roman.

"I'm a professional, sweetheart. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something. Now, Why do you have this address?" He asks as he reads what's written on the piece of paper.

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Yeah, I would. Now, where have you been all day?"

"Cleaning up your problems. One of them, at least." Mercury says.

"I had that under control."

"Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise." Mercury snaps back.

"Listen, you little punk. If it were up to me, then I would take you and your little street rat friend here and..." Roman tries to say before being interrupted by Cinder.

"Do what, Roman?" Cinder appears on a platform above them. She steps onto an automated lift, riding it down to their level.

"I'd, uh... not kill them?" He says nervously.

"Cinder!" Emerald excitedly shouts.

Cinder: I thought I made it clear that you would eliminate the would-be runaway.

"I was going to..." Roman says quietly.

"He was going to escape to Vacuo! Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat." Emerald shouts.

"Quiet. Did I not specifically instruct you two to keep your hand's clean while in Vale?" Cinder says in a domineering tone.

As Cinder speaks, Roman points a finger at the pair while laughing in agreement.

"I just thought..." Emerald tries to say as Roman uses his fingers to mime having a slit throat.

"Don't think... obey." Cinder orders.

"Y-yes ma'am. It won't happen again." Emerald apologizes.

"And you. Why wasn't this job done sooner?" Cinder says as she turns to Roman.

"Uh..? Eh..? Eh..? EHHHHH! Sorry if I've been busy stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom!" Roman says as he points at the crates containing dust behind him.

"You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Mercury says as Emerald laughs at the remark.

"Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with! Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might actually make my next string of robberies go a little smoother!" He emphasizes the last word by clenching his fist.

"Oh, Roman. Have a little faith. You'll know what you need when you need to know it. Besides, we're done with Dust." She says as she begins to walk away.

"O-okay, then what now?"

"We're moving. Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight."

"Coordinates?"

"We're proceeding to phase two." Cinder says as he turns to Roman.

Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald begin to walk away. But before they leave Cinder stops and turns back to Roman before asking him one last question.

"Ah, by the way, whatever happened to that little collar I gave you?" She asks as Roman attempts to light a cigar.

"Gone." Roman simply says as he tries to find his lighter, he then looks up to realize that Emerald was holding it as she sticks her tongue out at him. Roman glares at her.

"You used it? On who?"  Cinder asks as she gets more curious.

"Some random Faunus girl I saw fighting some huntsmen and huntresses in training, I thought she would be a good distraction for our escape. She was bleeding black blood tho, and her eyes were red instead of amber like a normal cat Faunus would have." Cinders eyes widen a little before she smiles and turns back to Emerald and Mercury.

"Interesting..." Cinder murmurs as she slowly walks off with Emerald and Mercury, leaving Roman alone in the room.
