A cacophony of giggles leaves my lips as I lean against the passenger seat while Mina drives us to our destination. Our eyes gleaming with playfulness as we dance in the front of the car while the music blares through the speaker system in her car. Her pink dice shaking with the movement of the car. The pair of us screaming the lyrics to a song with one another while Kyoka sits in the back of the car with a fond smile on her lips. Small smiles playing on Kyoka's and Momo's lips as they both look toward each other. Kyoka's hand resting on her baby bump as she has a hushed conversation with Momo who's gushing about her pregnancy glow and telling her all about her own pregnancy with the twins.

With it being near the end of the month, the girls and I were going to have a get together. It wasn't anything too spectacular. We were all just going to the beach for a little girl's barbecue to celebrate Kyoka going into her second trimester. The female hero getting more and more excited as the days go by, her bump becoming more and more prominent by the day. Excited to receive the gender too! She couldn't wait to have the baby in her arms either! Plus, Denki's being so cute when he's around her too.

As well as the great news of Kyoka progressing through her pregnancy, we're also celebrating Ochaco's great accomplishment of abolishing the period tax in Japan and allowing all those that need period products to have them for free.

The brunette had been pushing for free period products ever since she came into the spotlight as a hero. The woman using her platform to help young women and other period bearing people receive the products they need for something that they cannot control. She has been back and forth between the government and she's finally, finally she's managed to help people that had suffered like her. She's managed to help children that were in the same situation (needing to use money from her food budget for period products and trying to pawn some off from the school) due to low income to receive things that they need.

You can see why she's such a loved hero...

In the trunk of the car, unbeknownst to everyone bar Mina, there is a couple of boxes full of treats that I had made. There's a two tier cake that congratulates Ochaco for being the persevering and strong hero she is. I made cupcakes with little sugar paste pacifiers on top of the pink and blue frosting. There's also strawberries and cream filled pastries that Mina absolutely loves. I've also made little mini cheesecakes that Kyoka adores and always asks me about whenever she pops over with Denki and Eijiro.

Plus, I've made a salad to go with the grilled meat as well as boiled potatoes with garlic butter, spring onions and crispy bacon. Well, Katsuki helped out too. He wanted to make up for the horrific event that was meeting his parents the other week. Katsuki had a list of all these food he wanted to make (however I only picked a few) and we made the salad and the potatoes as well as homemade burger buns.

However, this get together wasn't just to see how the girls were and be sociable with one another for me. It was also a chance to just have a breather. To be on my own without having Katsuki worrying about doing something wrong. To not have my boyfriend breathing down the back of my neck constantly after the dinner with his parents didn't go too well. To just be around people that make me feel ten times better around myself that isn't my boyfriend and that isn't my family.

I just needed time with my girls. That's all...

With the dinner with Katsuki's parents ending up in an absolute disaster, Katsuki has been fretting for the past couple of days. He's made me breakfast in bed. He's made me lunch to take to campus so I can have it while I study in the library or in my apartment with Sakino. He's then picked me up from campus to take me to my babysitting job. Then he stays with me to look after the twins who are still coming to grips with their quirks. Then we go home, he cooks me dinner and makes sure I'm comfortable before giving me some loving when we head off to bed.

Not that I'm complaining or anything. I'm being treated like a Queen! However, I need to have time where I can breathe without Katsuki worrying about me breaking up with him constantly...

I'm not that petty! I know that I may not be the best person for my boyfriend to his parents. Or his mom in this case. However, Katsuki chose me. Katsuki wants to date me and that's what matters to me. I'm not dating his mom. So her opinion doesn't really matter. Yet Katsuki still worries which is adorable!

Though he won't admit it.

Mina finally pulls up into the parking lot of the beach, her eyes shimmering with happiness as she turns off the ignition and races out of the drivers seat to get changed into her swimsuit. Letting her run off, I slide out of the passenger seat and open up Kyoka's door to help her out the car. The girl thanking me as I slowly help her out of the car and gently hand her, her beach bag so she can get changed with Momo who already got her costume on underneath her sundress (like I do as well since Katsuki wanted to see if it fit me (he wanted to see what it looked like and wanted to take it off!!)).

Opening up the trunk of the car, I pick up the box full of treats while Momo grabs the bowls full of salad, potatoes and a bag full of burger buns. Once everything is out of the trunk, I close it shut and head toward the group of girls sitting on their towels and playful beach volleyball with one another. A laugh leaving my lips as Ochaco waves toward us excitedly while Tsuyu sticks her tongue out and waves.

After placing the food on the table nearby, I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and wrap my arms around Ochaco as she pulls me into a cuddle. My heart warming with joy at her warm cuddle. The brunette kissing my temple in a friendly manner before mumbling a soft compliment to reassure me that I'm doing great. She was the only other person (other than Izuku) who knew what happened with Katsuki's parents (Mitsuki told Inko who then told Izuku and Katsuki told Izuku too who told Ochaco).

Not only were the girls of Class A here but there were the girls of Class B plus Nejire from the third year (when they were in their first year). There is Itsuka Kendo (Battlefist) standing at the barbecue with Pony beside her babbling to her about her recent vacation to America to see her family. There is Setsuna, Kinoko, Ochaco, Tsuyu and Reiko playing beach volleyball with one another. Then there's Yui sitting with Ibara on their towels with a smile on their lips as they gossip about their boyfriends. Ibara sending me a reassuring smile as I set my bags down on my towel that's beside Ochaco's.

"Hey (Y/n), how are you?" Ibara asks as I rub the back of my neck and grab the sunblock from my beach bag to begin lathering it over my skin so I don't burn, "University going okay?"

"Yeah, it's going great," I reply softly, rubbing the cream into my skin to let it soak in and protect me somewhat from the sun before I clear my throat, "How are you and Ichiro?"

"We're good... he told me what happened," Ibara hums making me freeze slightly and dig my nails into my palm when I look back at her with my teeth worrying my lip, "Are you okay?"

"What happened?" Mina asks walking over making my sigh softly and rub the bridge of my nose while Momo looks toward me worried when I slowly begin to try and make myself smaller, "Is everything okay? Do I need to kick some serious ass out of Katsuki?"

"No, everything is fine, I promise," I tell her softly, not wanting to dampen the mood when I've only been here for five minutes, "I don't want to talk about it. Let's just celebrate Kyoka and Ochaco,"

"You wanna join the volleyball?" Ochaco asks with a smile as I shake off my dress and show everyone my Dynamight themed one piece swimsuit that Katsuki made me wear. Momo giggling as I tie my hair back into a ponytail so it's out of my face, "Nice swimsuit? Katsuki choose it?"

"You know he did, I had a red one that I wanted to wear but he didn't want me to because he wants it for his eyes only," I tell them while sticking my tongue out. The one piece I wore was mainly black with orange frills around the hem of the bottom and the top. It didn't have any words on it but the girls knew it was Katsuki silently marking his territory, "He's just being a bit protective and territorial this week. It'll blow over,"

"That bad, huh?" Ochaco whispers slightly making me grimace and rub the back of my neck before taking the beach ball from Tsuyu to throw up a serve, "Well, at least you can relax with us,"

Nodding happily, I take a deep breath before throwing the ball up in the air and hitting it toward the other side. A grin on my lips as I begin to slowly merge into my element. Both Ochaco and Tsuyu working as a team to with myself to build up a momentum and beat the team on the other side. All of us laughing whenever the ball accidentally hits us in certain areas or if we bump into each other when trying to receive the ball.

Once Setsuna serves it up into the air, Ochaco immediately feeds it to Tsuyu who sets it up for me to slam down into the sand. A smile on my lips as I slam it, the sound of my hand slapping against the ball echoing. However, my happiness is short lived as Kinoko manages to scoop it up and hike it toward Reiko who's setting up for Setsuna to hit it back. Immediately, I manage to save it from hitting the floor and let Tsuyu and Ochaco win us the point. The three of us cheering with big grins while Setsuna clears her throat.

"We go again! Come on!" The female barks making me giggle as I look toward her. Her eyes gleaming with that competitiveness that I see in my boyfriends eyes, "We can beat you!"

"As much fun as it is watching you girls play volleyball," Kendo begins, standing on the sidelines with her hands on her hips and a spatula in her hand, "But food is ready,"

Like a moth to a flame, we all flock toward the table full of food. My mouth watering as I grab a paper plate and some wooden cutlery before piling up my plate with all the food that I wish to eat. A juicy burger sits with my homemade salad and boiled potatoes. As well as a chilli chicken steak. Once full, I head toward my towel and sit down to begin digging into my food.

With a small groan of delight, I grab my burger and take a huge bite from it. My tastebuds singing in delight with the taste while I look toward the sea and watch as the waves therapeutically crash against the shore. Eyes shimmering with happiness as I continue to eat my burger like nothing else matter in the world. However, Momo slides herself next to me which catches my attention.

"What was Ibara talking about?" Momo asks in a hushed tone as she takes a bite of her pork belly and hums in happiness at the seasoned taste, "Is everything really okay with you and Katsuki? Do I need to tell Shoto?"

"Oh... everything's fine with Kat and I it's just..." I begin slowly, looking down at my plate of food as I begin to weigh out my options here and think about what I'm going to say, "I met his parents the other day and it didn't go... too well..."

"Wanna talk about it?" Momo asks, digging into her salad while I gnaw on the potatoes with a small groan, "I can try and help,"

"Basically, Katsuki's mom asked about my age... and then said about..." I begin, clearing the phlegm building up in my throat while I lean against the drinks cooker nearby, "Camie..."

"Really?" Momo asks, almost appalled, as she stares at me with worried eyes. A faint smile on my lips as I look toward her before going back to eating my meal, "Did Katsuki tell you about Camie?"

"I haven't heard much," I confirm to her, the black haired girl nodding slightly as she swallows down a mouthful of potatoes, "All I know is that it was purely physical and they didn't have any love for each other... unlike Kat and I... well... I don't know yet since we haven't said it b —"

"He does," Momo speaks up making me freeze my sentence and look toward her. The woman smiling reassuringly as she clears her throat and rubs my back, "We see how he looks at you... and he's never looked at anyone like that. Katsuki has always been a tough nut to crack, however, we know when he's found someone that means so much to him... and you're that person. Sweetie; he may not say it yet but we all know that he loves you so much and he'd do anything for you. Do you love him?"

"I... Momo, I can't answer... I..." I begin before clearing my throat nervously and looking down at my lap with a faint smile, "I do... he's just so sweet and he's strong... he's always looking out for me... I just... I love him so much, Momo... but I can't tell him that yet, it's too soon,"

"That's okay, you'll know when to say it. You'll know when the time is right,"...

"Really? Are you sure?"...

"Of course, you and him will both know when the time is right. You just have to be a little bit patient,"...
