"I'm gonna go unpack." Said Mitch, getting up and opening the door to leave the room.

"Me too." Said Scott, as he follows Mitch.

Mitch plops down on his bed and sighs. Scott joins him, and lies down.

"And I was really excited for this summer." Said Scott, disappointed.

"Me too!" Mitch responded, laying down. "And my friends are probably wondering where I'm at!"

Across the hall, Avi was talking to Kirstin as Kevin was taking a shower.

"So, uh, you have uh, a pretty name?" Avi said, trying to impress Kirstin.

"Well thank-" Kirstin gets cut off by the sound of more talking.

Avi looks out the window behind him and sees another van pull up, with more highschool, maybe even in college, kids.

Kirstin turns around to see a woman with long brown hair and glasses, holding another man's hand.

"ESTHER!" Kirstin shouted.

She jumps up from the bed, and runs out the door to the entrance.

Esther walks in, and squeals. The two girls hug.

"Kirstin!" Esther shouted. "I haven't seen you in forever!"

"It's been so long!" The blonde said. "Come over here with me for a second! I wanna get a selfie!"

The girls run to the hallway, and Esther looks puzzled, because Kirstin isn't pulling out her phone.

"So, who is he?" Kirstin asked, dreamy-eyed.

"My boyfriend Darien." Esther said, blushing. "We've been together for almost a year."

"We haven't been in touch for a while, then! I never have even heard of him!" Kirstin said, fangirling over her old friend and her boyfriend.

Esther rolls her eyes sarcastically as Darien walks over.

"Anyways, Darien and I are here to help with the experiment." Esther explained. "Please introduce us to the others!"

Kirstin walks them to her room as Avi and Kevin are talking.

"Hey, guys!" Kirstin said. "This is Darien and Esther, they're here to help out with the experiment!"

Avi and Kevin wave to the couple.

"Don't get too excited.." Kirstin said sarcastically. "Let's go see Scott and Mitch!"

Kirstin motions over Esther and Darien, and they walk over to the other room.

Kirstin opens the door and smiles, but what she finds is not what she expects.

Scott and Mitch are sitting on a bed, talking about Nintendo games.

Nintendo? Mitch? Mitch Grassi, the 'Rebel'?

She snaps her fingers to get the brunette's attention, and he looks over and blushes.

Scott turns around and stands up. "Oh, hello!"

"Mitch, Scott," Kirstin said, "this is Esther and Darien. They're here to help with the experiment!"

"We'll see you later, at dinner time!" Esther said, waving.

Kirstin closes the door, and the 3 walk into the hallway.

"We each have social group thingys that describe us." Kirstin explained. "I'm Diva, Scott is Gamer, Avi is Teacher's Pet, Kevin is Athlete, and Mitch is Rebel."

"They shouldn't put labels like that on teenagers, but I guess it's for the best or whatever." Esther said, shrugging.

"So do you guys have a room?" Kirstin asked the couple.

"Yes, it's a few rooms down from yours." Darien replied before giving Esther a peck on the cheek.

Kirstin tries really hard not to squeal.

Suddenly Avi emerges from his room and says hello to the three standing in the hall.

His deep voice almost scares Darien.

"Avi Kaplan, nice to meet you." Avi greeted as he puts out his hand for Esther or Darien to shake.

Darien accepts the offer, and shakes Avi's hand.

"Darien Koop." The male college student said.

"Esther Michaels." The female college student says.

"So you you two know each other?" Avi asked, pointing at Kirstin and Esther.

"Yes, we were actually neighbors when we were young!" Kirstin responded enthusiastically.

"Until you had to move!" Esther said, playfully hitting Kirstin's arm.

Kevin walks out of his room and sees the group talking, and slowly slides back into the door.

"Kevin," Kirstin said. "I see you. Come back out!"

Kevin sighs and walks towards Darien.

"Kevin Olusola. Such a pleasure to meet you." Kevin said, wishing he could be in his room, watching the basketball game that was currently on.

"I'm Darien Koop, and this is Esther Michaels, my girlfriend." Darien said, holding Esther tight.

"You can let go of me, Hulk." Esther said, squirming away from Darien.

Next thing you know, Scott and Mitch are also out in the hallway talking with the others.

And before they know it, it's dinner time.

"Time for the food!" Avi exclaimed, looking at the clock. "I heard they're serving barbecue!"

"Um, Avi?" Esther said. "They're not serving anything. We have to drive to a restaurant and get our own."

Gosh dang it Avi, now they all think you lie and you're weird! Avi thinks to himself.

"I want Chick-Fil-A!" Kevin yelled, throwing his arm in the air.

"Well, mommy is not driving to seven million different restaurants. Pick one that we all want to go to, just for today. Maybe another day we'll go to multiple." Esther said, tapping her foot.
