Riddle was looking for me. How was I going to explain that I blabbed on him to Dumbledore? Unless he doesn't know. That would certainly help the situation. I give Slughorn a small smile before ambling out the door and dashing down the hallway. Okay! Okay breathe Hawthorn you've got this. You just have to act like you are utterly smitten over Tom Riddle.

I shake my head violently as my feet took me to the library, inside the library I saw the boy I was meant to deceive. "Hello Tom, you were looking for me?" I ask sweetly. He turns towards me, his eyes seemed darker, suspicious of me.
"Ah, Elise, your friend Cassie told me you were unwell and was out of the girl dormitory." How did this guy pull off lying to the whole school? Probably because he's hot.

"Yes just some fresh air. We have potions. I-i think its best if we start walking" I scramble for the appropriate words. I didn't want to seem odd. Hell, I'm acting odd.

Tension was building between me and Tom, I knew his secret, he was going to make me give him my powers. HA! Not going to happen buster. Throughout potions we had small collected arguments until afterwards he dragged me to a deserted area of Hogwarts.
