[10] bon voyage 2

They ate their dinner, and after that, they were given time to look around the Dotonbori area, so they went to eat, shop, eat, and eat more.

"I want the takoyaki," Seoryoung attempted to take one from Miya

"Not today," Miya held the food from a distance. "Go get one for yourself."

"If it's not nice?" Seoryoung shrugged.

"Nah, it will be nice for sure," Miya replied, pulling out a piece for her to try. Isa was drinking a smoothie and had a brain freeze.

"What in the world is this?" Isa groaned, rubbing her head. The brain freeze subsided, and she continued drinking it. She passed the half cup of smoothie to Sumin. "Drink this. It's too cold." Sumin nodded and drank the smoothie. Mashiho was taking some pictures around the area, but when he put his camera away, he saw Seeun look at Sumin sipping on a drink with a longing gaze and went to her. "What's wrong?"

"I can't drink cold drinks..." Seeun sighed. "Seven or more days without drinking my iced drinks, it's tough." Mashiho smiled and gave her a melonpan. "Try this instead." Seeun clutched the warm bun and took a bite. It was sweet, and the surface was crispy. The bread was strawberry-flavoured.

"It's delicious!" Seeun said, covering her mouth while speaking. Mashiho nodded. "Of course. Street food is always delicious. You can have it." "Really? Thanks." Seeun smiled. They looked around the buildings silently before he spoke up.

"Can you tell me more about you and your group? We originally wanted to be friends with you all."

"Sure." Seeun sat on a bench nearby, Mashiho following suit.

"So, we have Isa, Sumin, Sieun, Yoon, Yeeun and me. Isa has one brother, Lee Heeseung. Their parents live overseas, and they give the siblings freedom. Imagine having an ace as your brother. That would be great." Mashiho chuckled, and she continued.

"Okay, moving on, we have Sumin. She's the only child, and her parents live in Pohang, so she visits them every month. "

"Sieun has two brothers, Jay and Seonghwa. You saw her and Seonghwa battle during P.E., yeah. The siblings love playing badminton."

"Wait, Jay Park? The one that graduated years ago?"

"nO, not that one. The other Jay Park, Park Jongseong from 3-2."

"Oh. Oops," Mashiho said.

"Yea. And she said that once when they were little, their mother found the three hugging each other in one cot. And the thing was, they had separate cots, so their parents wondered how did they get in." Seeun turned to look at Sieun before looking back. "And Yoon, she has a brother as well. Sim Jaeyun."

"Jake from 3-2?"

"Yea. Their parents sent them here from Australia so that they could be independent. Yeeun has a sister, Seungyeon, from 2-1. Their parents live around Daejeon, but Yeeun and her sister used to live in Tokyo, with their grandma. They could argue for 25/8 because they have LOTS of things to argue about, so you can say they're mutual hotheads. But Yeeun still cares about her sister anyway. Also, Yoon used to live in Tokyo, and they were classmates."

"What about you?"

"I came from an orphanage after my parents passed in a car accident."

"Oh."

"Yea. But it's okay since i have the other five with me. They're like my family. Sometimes family doesn't have to be blood-related, i guess." Mashiho nodded. He gazed at the star-studded sky before looking back at Seeun.

"Most of their brothers make up nearly half of the gang they are in."

"Yeah, just like us. Runs in the family, I guess."

They had to gather back at the holding point to go back to the hotel. The bus ride back to the hotel was better, as the silence was comfortable. A sleepy Yeeun leaned her head on Seeun's shoulder, and the latter made Yeeun more comfortable in her position and then went back on her phone. When the bus reached the hotel, Seeun took Yeeun's bag and woke her up. Everyone got off the bus while Mr Im did a headcount before letting them off to their rooms.

"You go and shower first," Isa said. Sumin opened her luggage to take out a fresh set of clothes and a towel before going into the bathroom. Isa took out her speaker and blasted music. She looked out from the full-length windows and took a picture to remember this trip. She sat on her bed, connecting her phone and Sumin's phone to the hotel's wifi while waiting for Sumin to finish. When Sumin came out, she went to shower. Isa, with Sumin, cleaned up the place and went to bed after that.

The alarm rang, and Isa woke up. She looked out of the window to see the morning sun shining brightly. The clouds were orange and blue with a hint of pale pink. She checked her phone and received a message from Mr Im to help him headcount her group, as he also had to check the other groups. She rummaged in her bag for the extra key card that could grant her access to the 10th floor— that was given by Mr Im. She then took her uniform and went to wash up and shower.

After washing up, she woke a groggy Sumin up, and the latter went to wash up. In the meantime, Isa dried her hair and ensured the things needed were in her bag. She played music and continued brushing her hair. When Sumin finished, they went out and checked if they had their keycard. They went to the other girls' room to make sure they had already woken up and waited for the girls to wake up. When four girls exited their respective rooms, Sumin checked that they had their keycards before heading down to the 10th floor. They went to find Hongjoong's room first. Isa rang the bell and waited. No response.

"OI HONGJOONG. DID YOU WAKE UP ALREADY?" Sumin shouted. The door opened, and the boy came out ready. "I didn't know your voice was so loud," Hongjoong commented. Sumin shrugged. "Well, now you know." The girls let Hongjoong take care of the rest of the boys while they waited at the lift landing.

Isa did a headcount when everyone was present before they went to the buffet on the first floor to have breakfast with the other groups. Isa was at the table where they displayed the toast, took a few slices of bread and got herself a cup of coffee. She walked away from the toasts, but when she walked past the table of waffles, she remembered that Yeeun liked, no, love waffles. She looked for her team's table and saw that Yeeun was only drinking milk. She took some waffles and drizzled some maple syrup.

Isa went towards their table and passed Yeeun the plate of waffles. Yeeun squealed.

"Thanks, sis. I couldn't find it!"

"No problem," Isa smiled. As they were eating their breakfast, Doyoung came.

"With all these flowers, i couldn't tell you apart," he gestured to the flower decorations behind the boys' seat. Jeongwoo looked at him and blinked.

"Kim Doyoung, I want to smack you so bad, but i can't." Doyoung grinned at Yedam's words as the latter dragged Doyoung away.

"He is such a flirt," Yoon remarked, and all of them nodded.
