"Why is that jerk looking at me like a pedophile?"

Even though we're on completely different sides of the classroom, I can still feel Sunghoon's cold stares practically burning a hole in my forehead. He only finally looks away once everyone else stares at him back.

"He's probably mad at you for traumatizing Sunoo yesterday," Heejin says as she scrolls through Twitter on her phone. "Did you guys hear that Brendon Urie caused 9/11?"

I smack my head. "You're so gullible, Heejin. It's a joke people are saying, don't believe it." I say to her as she just nods her head.

"Maybe he... Likes you?" Beomgyu asks teasingly as I choke on my own spit.

"What's there to like? We've only known each other for a week." I say as the rest just roll their eyes. Why do I hang out with them, again?

"Anyways... Is your voice feeling better?" Soobin turns the attention back to my sprained voice from yesterday's band practice.

"Eh, it's seen better days. I still sound like a chalkboard when I sing." I say before trying to sing a lyric but end up failing miserably. Everyone puts their hands over their ears to block the horrid sound that came out of my lips.

"Please get better soon. I don't ever want to hear that again." Olivia utters as the rest of us laugh at her joke. Ms. Kim walks into the room. Beomgyu and Soobin head back to their assigned seats before the teacher starts today's lesson.

|| SUNGHOON POV ||

I can't take my eyes off her, even if I wanted to.

It's not my fault! I'm not deliberately gazing at her like a creep on purpose, but I just can't help it. Ever since I discovered that Scarlett looks awfully similar to a member in Loona, I've been considering all the possibilities.

Could she really be the girl singing in that song?

I zone out on her face and only regain consciousness when I see Soobin, Beomgyu along Scarlett and all her female friends frowning at me. Oh god, I completely forgot how much of a loser I probably seem, gawking at Scarlett quietly from across the room. They better not think I like her, because I don't.

Well, if she actually is a member of Loona like I'm suspecting, there's probably a high chance I'll potentially develop feelings. With a voice like that, who wouldn't have even the slightest crush? But at the same time, that's Scarlett Heo we're talking about. The one who made Sunoo so nervous he didn't even show up today in fear of getting beat up by her.

"Dude, you good?" Jake asks me as I jump back into reality.

"Y-yeah, I'm good. Just nervous for the test today." I try my best to make the best possible lie, which I quickly realize failed since we don't have a test today.

"We have a test?" Niki asks as the rest start to panic.

"No... I meant my coach was giving me a test today." I try to cover up their alarm over the false quiz.

"Oh, thank god. I am not prepared for any tests." Jungwon puts his palm over his chest, soothing down his rapid pulse.

I let their voices drain out as I try to covertly eavesdrop on Scarlett and her friend's conversation from the other side of the room which wasn't very easy since Jay was screeching at Jake behind me.

"Anyways... Is your voice feeling better?" That really tall boy from our class who's like 6'10 asks.

"Eh, it's seen better days. I still sound like a chalkboard when sing." A girl's voice says that makes me swing my head towards her direction. That's definitely Scarlett's voice. I see her trying to hit a pitch but ends up making an ostrich-type noise that makes me slightly cringe for her.

I secretly put my hand over my heart, trying to calm down the beat of my bumping heart. For a second there, I really thought Scarlett was a member of Loona. But then again, why would a member of Loona sing so terribly? Let's just hope she doesn't aspire to become an idol because her singing is far from pleasant.

Because now my biggest suspicion (Scarlett) is out of the way, who else in this school is capable of being a Loona member?

|| SCARLETT POV ||

After band practice, I bid farewell to the girls along with Soobin before heading home. I'm almost off the school property when I remember that I forgot something. My phone.

I hurriedly head back into the practically empty school since it was 5 o'clock and most students and teachers have already departed to their individual homes. I go directly to Mr. Jung's classroom. He was Olivia's, Jinsoul's and Soobin's homeroom teacher last year. When we first started the band, he offered to let us use his room for practice after school as long as we clean afterwards and we've been doing that for almost a year now.

I walk in and see my phone on one of the desks as I left it before. I grab it and give it a little kiss before walking down the hallways. Actually, while I'm here I might as well go and clean out my locker. I barely have time during the day since we only get five minutes between classes so now's my chance to organize it.

A cultural difference I've noticed between Switzerland and Korea is lockers. In Switzerland, all the lockers are located on the perimeters of the hallway walls or in the assigned locker rooms. In Korea, all of the lockers are put in the classrooms, which is definitely handier because I barely have to walk to get what I need.

I walk into the classroom with my eyes glued onto my phone. I sense someone shuffling around the desks so I look up and see Sunghoon putting on a shirt over his bare chest. I shriek as I hurry to quickly cover up my eyes from preventing myself from seeing anything I'm too young for.

Sunghoon also lets out a shriek as I turn around, facing the wall. "Why are you changing in the classroom!? What if the janitor walked in!?"

Sunghoon calms down his breath before turning back into his irritating self. "Hey, next time don't scream too loud. You made my body take a screenshot. I'm done. You can look now."

I slowly uncover my eyes and see Sunghoon's body covered by a white shirt and black pants. He was putting on a track jacket and had a gym bag next to him.

"What's in the bag? Drugs?" I ask as I open my locker and start throwing out the cans of orange juice in the garbage.

"My skates. I have a competition in two and a half hours." He says nonchalantly as he stuffs his school uniform into his bag. The song he was formally playing ends as a new one starts filling the room with a familiar melody. A little TOO familiar...

Wait a second. This is a Loona song!

"You like Loona?" I ask, hiding my proud smile from him. If he likes the music that I compose, he can't be that bad of a person. Maybe my contempt for him will perish away? Possibly, who knows.

"I only found out about them a few days ago. Do you know who's in the group? I heard they go to this school." He asks as I stop cleaning out my locker.

This is for that gym class, Park Sunghoon. Sorry, but you deserve this. "No, I have no clue who's in that group. I heard they like to keep their identities a mystery."

He nods his head, slightly disgruntled but he shakes it off quickly. "Alright. I'll get going."

"Good luck with your competition." I give him a fighting fist as he gives me a small simper. He heads out of the room as I shake my head in disbelief. How could he fall for that? I'm pretty sure the whole school knows the Loona members.

Park Sunghoon. You may have the looks. But you definitely don't have the brains.
