im recently working part time for a doggie salon, this story was inspired by it ✨ its so fun working there, sadly tmr's my last day cuz i only helped out for fun as it was the owner's first few months opening the shop ❤️ wishing her good luck!!

-Written in Han's POV-

I turned the corner and saw the said dog salon in the distance that Hyunjin suggested to me a few days ago.

I got this, I can do it. All I need to do is just walk in and mention Hyunjin. What if the worker doesn't recognise the name? What if I look stupid and mess up my words?

I recently got a new puppy and I didn't really have much knowledge on how to take care of it. As I was chatting with the members about it, Hyunjin suggested me this dog salon, which stands right before my eyes. He told me about this marvellous girl that works there, and said that I could learn from her. So I took his word for it and brought Bbama to where I am right now. I actually expected a much larger shop, with shuffling workers and dogs all around. But instead I was greeted with quite the opposite- a mini shop with barely anyone around.

As I neared the dog salon, I saw a couple heading out with 2 dogs on leashes. A girl who I assume is the marvellous girl  follows behind and waves at the couple as they headed to another direction. The waving girl watches the couple leave, and then heads back into the dog salon. I waited a few moments before finally walking towards the salon. I peered at the glass window and found the girl vacuuming in the back of the shop. Our eyes met when her head looked up. She had big round eyes that sparkled under the salon's lights. I couldn't figure out what but something in her eyes made me felt a bit less nervous. After a few unspoken seconds, she smiled and gestured me to enter the dog salon. Realizing how long I have been stupidly staring, I quickly snapped out and headed in the salon.

I cleared my throat as I entered through the door.

"H-H-hi... I'm here because Hyunjin recommended me-"

"You're Han right? Yep Hyunjin told me to expect you visiting here! Pleasure to meet you, I'm Y/N!" she said as she quickly cleaned up the mess around her.

I placed Bbama on the floor and he raced around to explore the salon. I watched as he ran around, happily sniffing everything he comes to.

"So this is Bbama? He's such an adorable little ball of fluff. Definitely got his cute features from his new father." I looked up to see Y/N standing next me, watching as the snowball stroll towards her.

She bent down and allowed Bbama to sniff her. I stood and watched them bond, thinking about the thing she said about Bbama taking his cute features from his new father. c-cute? New father? She's talking about me...?

Y/N picked up Bbama who was now smiling as Y/N held him softly in her arms.

"Let's get to work! I'll show you all the detailed steps to how to take care of Bbama. Just watch, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask" She led me towards the small sized bathtub and began a run-through of everything.

She wasn't kidding when she said 'all the detailed steps'. She explained everything little by little, and explained it very well. I even got to try bathing, scrubbing, drying and brushing Bbama. She showed me other things like snipping Bbama's nails, cleansing his ears, trimming and lots of other things. And let me say, Bbama looked so handsome and clean after he was done. I was very pleased to how he turned out.

I also kind of got to know a bit of Y/N in the process. Turns out she's a year younger than me, and she also has a puppy of her own named Sprinkles. She lost her parents due to a car accident years ago so she had to handle her life all on her own. She also told me about her interests and hobbies, one being to help dogs. In return I also exchanged a bit about my life, and we got to have conversations flowing.

I watched as Y/N loosely tied a black bow to Bbama's neck for the finishing touch. She placed Bbama on the floor and allowed him to wander off in the salon. I followed Y/N to the counter and paid for the price shown on the list.

"By the way Han, you can stop by here anytime you want. I'm glad to help you learn more, if you still want to come that is. If you're ever coming, just text me, you have my number." she said as she gives back my card to me.

I look up at her as she stared back at me with those smiley shiny eyes. I swear it's her eyes that are getting me. I don't know why but I felt a little sparkle inside me as I reached for my card in her hands.

"O-O-Oh... Thank you so much, I don't know what to say. I will definitely come visit soon." I stuttered.

She laughed as she picked up Bbama and handed it to me. She followed me until we were outside again. I thank her for everything and walked back the way that led me here earlier.

I'm definitely coming back soon... Maybe tomorrow! There's a big break in between my activities tomorrow, so I could actually pop in and learn a bit and see... her
