Chapter 18 | A Day Without You

         It was lunch break and every student where on their way to the cafeteria.

Luna and D.O where on their way to the Leisure room where they usually hang out during breaks.

Walking with D.O at the corridor was indeed fun yet uneasy at the sametime. Since Sehun was all day excused to the class. Why? Since he and Kai where one of the dance representatives of the school, they have to practice hard for the upcoming School Jam where students from different schools will join to compete each others.

It was sad that she can't spend time with her bestfriend but thanks to D.O, Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Tao for accompanying her since Sehun was not around.

Also to Hayoung and Seohyun who immediately became her girl bestfriends.

She feels overwhelmed that atlast she gained true and trustworthy friends.

"D.O sunbae, thank you for accompanying me." Luna thanked him with a bright smile. D.O return a smile and cheekily ruffled the younger's hair.

"Luna, just call me oppa. Since I would like to be your older brother. Huh?" D.O suggested flashing his heartshaped smile.

"Chinja?! You want to be my older brother?" D.O nodded with a smile. They've been friends for a long time now and it seems like D.O and the other guys developed brotherly feelings for Luna.

Well, who wouldn't? Besides being an ideal girl, she'll also fit as a younger sister. Innocent, pure and unknowingly sweet.

"Why, don't you like me as an older brother?" D.O asked her batting his adorable owl eyes.

Luna found his eyes so cute and adorable making her giggle. "Of course I want to have a brother like you! It's just that of all the girls why choose me? I'm just a plain girl you know." Luna stated in a weak tone.

D.O heaved a sigh, he don't like the sight of Luna looking down on her own self.

He put both of his hand on her shoulders and made her stare at him.

"Listen Luna, you may seem plain but you're different. Stop looking down on yourself, because you're someone to be looked up to. Understand?" D.O reminded her. She was touched by his words, indeed D.O was a great brother material.

"Kamsahamnida..D.O.." Luna averted her gaze, meanwhile D.O looked at her in anticipation.

"Say it~" He coes as he looked at the younger's timidness.

"D.O oppa." She said shyly earning a giggle from D.O

"Such a cute dongsaeng!" D.O exclaimed ruffling her hair once again.

Entering the leisure room, D.O was greeted by a flying pillow. Fortunately Luna dodge it but the poor D.O didn't.

The pillow hitted him straight on the face. "Omo! Gwenchana?!" Luna exclaimed worriedly.

"You're so dead Chanyeol." Baekhyun snickered, sneakly walking backwards.

Tao immediately runned and hid behind Hayoung while she and Seohyun were controlling theirselves not to laugh.

"You giraffe!" D.O immediately charge against Chanyeol, the two of them started running around like idiots and the guys can't help but to just laugh at their silliness.

Luna sat beside Seohyun, and Seohyun noticed something about Luna.

"Is there something wrong?" She asked. "Huh? A-ani, I'm fine." Luna answered awkwardly.

"You're missing Sehun aren't you?" Tao teased, she was about to deny it but Hayoung cutted her.

"Ey, don't deny it. We can see it right through your eyes." She said, Luna just heaved a sigh and remained quiet.

The class finally ended and Luna soullessly packed her things. She feels sad Sehun was not around. Seems like she's used to his prescence always with her.

A day without Sehun was indeed lonely, her day feels incomplete without his prescence.

Since D.O, Chanyeol and Baekhyun still have to finish some projects they have to stay at school, Hayoung and Tao will be on a date today.

Seohyun would like to walk her home but being the student council's president she can't because of some reports she needed to pass to the faculty.

Sehun and Kai have to stay for a while to continue their practice.

She left a sigh and just decided to walk home alone.

Walking alone, she stopped at the hill she would always hang out before. The cherry blossom tree was withering, a sign that winter will be soon occuring.

Sitting at the bench under the cherry blossom tree, she stayed for a while just to watch the sunset.

She felt a little relax and quite happy now. The cold wind blew against her, making her shiver a bit.

Her face fell remembering Sehun's not with her today. And realizing that she won't have much time to spend with Sehun since he'll be busy practicing for the coming days makes her sad even more.

She opened her bag and fished out her sketchpad. Flipping every page, she can't help but to reminisce, it's been a fee months since she and Sehun became bestfriends and it's been a few months they've started creating fun and unforgettable memories. Her sketchpad was full of Sehun's face and figure.

Sleeping, dancing, smiling and etcetera. A weak smile crept on her face, as she continued flipping each page.

Once she finished scanning all the pages, she gently closed it and once again watch the sun as it slowly sets.

Suddenly she felt a hand touch her hair amking her startled. As she turned, a smiling Sehun greeted her.

"Annyeong!" Sehun merrily exclaimed as he sat beside her. Luna who was still in shock just stared at him wide-eyed.

"Why are you h-here?" Luna asked in bewilderment. Instead Sehun just smile and ruffled her hair.

"Silly, of course to accompany you!" He answered. "Don't you have a dance practice? You might be tired you should just go home and take a nice rest." Luna stated worriedly.

Sehun's face softened at her thoughfulness. "Aigoo. I'm not tired. I just want to spend time with you since we didn't get to spend time together earlier. Mianhae." Sehun apologizes giving her a sincere and gentle smile.

"You don't need to be sorry, Sehun.

I fully understand that you're busy. I'm okay." Luna insisted though it's clear to her expression that she's not.

"I know you're not. I can't promise that starting tomorrow I could spend time with you but I'll try to find time. Arasso?" He said, Luna nodded in agreement. She seemed fine with it. She trusts Sehun so she'll hold on to what he says.

Sehun fished out the bluegreen ribbon clip he bought a week ago for Luna.

With a smile on his face, he brushed her hair and gently clipped it to her hair.

"What is this for?" Luna asked with a giddy smile on her face. She was so happy, it's the first time Sehun gave her a gift.

"Nothing, I just thought you'll look good with it and guess I was right. It suits you." Sehun complimented as he faints a blush. It looks really great on her.

"Kamsahamnida Sehun. I'll treasure this forever!" Luna exclaimed happily as she gave Sehun a Thank You Hug.

Sehun blushed furiously and once again his heart eratically beats. Controlling himself, she hugged her back and cherished every seconds that passed.

Now, Luna's day was finally complete.
