After all (I really love you) - The Frank & Walters (but I prefer the young offenders version)

It's my 21st birthday meaning I can finally join my friends at the club. So that's what we're going to do, drink and party  the night away.

"Are you ready (y/n)?" Freya asks coming up to the door

"Yep two seconds" I say closing the back of my hoop and looking in the mirror one last time. 

I run down the stairs and meet with Freya, Talia, and Gee. We all get in the Uber together to the club, is and the boys all decided to meet there.

"Happy birthday!" The guys say once they see me 

I smile and blush slightly.

"Thanks guys" I reply, "so who's ready to partaayy" I say putting my hands in the air 

Everyone yells their reply and so we head in.

We head straight over to the bar and order drinks, first we had a few shots each then we order a glass of what we want so we can have it over more time.

"Hey look there's karaoke!" Talia shouts over the music

"Come on who wants a go" Josh says trying to get one of us to go up 

"I'll do it" JJ says, "but only if they have one of my songs" 

Everyone shakes their heads before pushing him onto the stage to do a song. 

Even though they didn't have one of his songs he still chose one.

"Jj should stick to rapping" I laugh over his terrible singing to Simon.

We've been here for a good hour and Simon hasn't said a word to me. So I thought I'd start the conversation.

"Yeah" he says looking to the ground

"What's up? You haven't spoken to me since we got here, actually, you haven't spoken to me since we all stayed round Tobi's and drank loads" 

I pause for a second, my eyes go wide as I think about something, "did o say something I shouldn't have?!" 

Simon lets out a small chuckle which brings out his dimple, which I oh so love. Wait.. ignore that.

"You got quite drunk and said something, nothing bad but i just don't know how to respond to what you said" he tells me finally looking at me.

He bites his lip before turning to the stage. 

He isn't. Is he?

"Simon where are you going? What did I say that night?" I say trying to push through the crowd in the direction of where Simon went.

I reach the stage and I see that Simon has the mic in his hand.

"Uh hey everybody, so I've been having trouble talking to this person about how I feel. So I thought I'd see if doing this will help me get my emotions across. Fee free to join in" He says shaking slightly. 

As the music begins to start he looks at me and smiles. 

"After all I really love you, after all that we've been through" he starts to sing 

"Woo go on Simon" Harry shouts from the bar making him chuckle as he continues

"I know that we fight and our love gets pushed to the side, still it ends alright. After all I really need you" 

People being to join in, as they continue I look up at Simon who was smiling at me holding his hand out. I look behind and see the girls giving me a thumbs up whilst nodding their head. I take Simons hand and he pulls me into the stage, the DJ hands me a mic and Simon and I sing the song together. 

The song comes to the end with everyone in the club shouting the lyrics out, the same with how people sing the football songs at the pub. 

It got to the point where the DJ cut the music because people were making the music on their own, it was really quite something. 

"So that's what I said at Tobi's" I giggle as we climb off the stage

"Pretty much, but not as much singling" he laughs, he takes my hand as we walk to the outside. 

"People are still signing" I say once we get out, you can just hear the muffled voices of everyone inside. 

"That they are"

We spend a while outside just talking, we took a few pictures, when I say we I mean I did. What I had to show people my outfit!

As I was about to put my phone back in my pocket it vibrates

I smile at my phone and then face Simon. All of a sudden I get the feeling I need to do it. So I do. Once he looks at me I push my lips against him, at first he was shocked but he soon realised and kissed back. 

Best birthday ever.
