I'm not famous - AJR

Josh and I have been dating for a fake few years at this point, however nobody other then Josh and mines close friends and family know. But it's now coming up to the 5 years mark and we both feel like it's time to tell everybody the truth, people have seen me in the back of a few videos and for the most part they just think I'm a friend of theirs that's not so famous, but little did they know.

Josh, though being one of the people who plans a lot of the sidemen videos, he is the least subscribed member. However, we both don't mind it as less people will try and disturb us during our outings as they would prefer to meet one of the other members, and nobody really knows that much about Joshs personal life, mainly relationships.

I mean if nobody knows you, you ain't got no haters.

"Hey Josh" I say walking into the main room with a pile full of ASOS parcels.

I throw them all on the floor allowing me to see again

"Care to explain?" I say taking a seat next to him

"Well" he sighs, "I may have ordered a frick ton of shirts"

"How much?" I wearily ask 

"Almost 20 grand" he winces 

I don't say anything, my mouth drops, "you're returning most of these, no matter how good they are" I announce getting up and leaving the room.

Jesus Christ Josh. You need help.

"(Y/n) can you come here for a minute please!" Josh shouts from the other room

"I have been summoned" I joke as I come in

He's filming a video as he's surrounded by the ASOS bags that were once sealed.

"Do you need me to tell you what you need to return because as I said, 90% of these need to go" I laugh climbing over the mountains of tops to get seated next to Josh on the sofa.

"Actually no. Well, yeah you can stay but I have some stuff for you to try on" he smiles handing me a few clear packages with clothes stuffed inside of them

"Okay, I'll go try them on" I say walking out of the room once again

"Thanks all for today, thank you all so much for watching me and my girlfriend try on ASOS clothes worth 20 grand. Goodbye" Josh signs off 

Did he really just say..

"Are you cutting that last bit out?" I ask

"Only if you're not okay with it, I just thought that we agreed that we wanted to do this?" Josh says getting a little worried 

"Oh no! God no! I'm happy you've said it, I just thought we'd do a video on it" I giggle

"That's what next weeks video will be" he winks tapping the side of his nose.

I giggle before looking around at the mess we made, "ready to return some shirts?" I ask 

He sighs before getting on his knees to pick up some clothes.

'Did he just say girlfriend?!'

'I knew it!!'

'He could do better 😒'

'They are so cute together 🥺'

Josh and I sat together on the sofa as we read the comments, some where about the amount we had spent on the clothes, however most were about the two seconds at the end.

"I guess we should start thinking about next week huh" I smile 

"I suppose so, can you imagine what's going to happen when we go outside together between now and next Thursday" he laughs moving causing me to sit up from my position that was me laying my head on his lap.

"It's going to be a crazy week"

"Damn straight sista" 

"Never say that again Josh. I think I was just sick in my mouth" I say acting as if I was going to be sick

"So yeah that's the story of how we met. We met in school and started dating then however during exams we found it stressful meaning we broke up yet here we are now, back together living the life we always wanted" I say giving a brief recap of what we just explained.

"We forgot to say who brought us together" Josh jumps

"Oh right yeah" I say looking at him, we somehow managed to communicate through one look

"Tobi" we said in unison 

"Tobi is like a match maker" i laugh

"Yeah" Josh laughs, "first Simon and Talia now me and you" 

"Technically we were first" I correct him which causes him to nudge me in the side.

"Oh who cares" he rolls his eyes, "that's probably all we have to say, what do you recon?" 

"I think so- oh actually- we returned a fair few of the clothes from the last video so don't worry we're not skint yet" I add tempering about the comments

"Right" Josh chuckles before saying goodbye and turning the camera off

"Think they will be happy about this video?" I ask

"I think so" he replies pulling me into a side hug

"Is that Zerkaa?" 

"Is that Josh and his girlfriend"

"Josh?! (Y/n)?!" 

Everywhere we go Josh and I hear whispers about us, I'm beginning to regret saying something this early because I quite liked the slightly quieter life with Josh, when we weren't famous.

However, I feel like Josh enjoys being recognised a bit more in public because it's alway 'oi that's ksi's friend' or 'oh look it's that old dude in the sidemen' but now it's 'hey look it's Josh' which is nicer I suppose.

Maybe one day I'll get used to being in the spotlight, but for now I prefer it when I'm not famous.
