No one's POV

Y/n couldn't believe her eyes. One of her best friends and the love of her live is alive and in front of her.

"H-how.." y/n struggled to form her words choking up at the sight in front of her.

From behind, Katie understood. The mysterious girl in front of her is y/n's lover, Gal, but she noticed something strange... the obvious baby bump on Gal's tummy. Gal and the guy that she's with are now together. She knew this would be chaos, she knew y/n would have a hard time accepting the fact that her love has moved on.

But y/n haven't seem to notice it yet, she rushed to Gal's side and hugged her like there's no forever, both cried with tears of joy and relief knowing they are alive, but Gal seems to be feeling more than just joy... guilt, and regret.

She knew that once y/n sees her bump everything would fall apart for her. Gal looked at Tom in shock, knowing their fears are about to come true.

Y/n's POV

For some reason when I rushed to Gal I felt something odd...

That's strange, I thought to myself did she gained a few pounds?

I stepped away from our hug wiping away my tears. I finally found them, we could be together again.

As I looked at Tom and Gal, I noticed fear in their eyes, that's I looked at them clearly. Tom holding Gal's hand like how I used to hold them and Gal holding her belly. It dawned on me, she never gained weight, she's pregnant.

I looked at Gal trying to get an explanation, but she was as speachless as I am...

"We thought you were dead" Tom cried as he explained.

"We never intended any of this to happen. We were so struck with grief that we sought company from each other. We never thought a relationship would bloom between us." He explained further.

At that point I felt betrayed... I felt rage taking over me as I grab Tom and punch him in the face.

"Of course something will bloom, you sick bastard! You fucked my girlfriend!" I cried

"These past months I have done nothing but to get myself to heal faster so I could find you. I thought we were a family! I thought you loved me!" I added, now looking straight into Gal's eyes.

"I'm sorry." That's all she could say as I see tears falling down on her face.

I rushed inside the house not being able to take the pain anymore.

I've been bettayed once again by the love of my life. Sinking into my knees, I can't help but feel the urge to scream at the anger and frustration that I'm feeling.

Katie's POV

When y/n rushed inside, Gal finally broke down. Tom can't seem to hold his emotions as well as he was also crying in regret and shame while holding her lover.

I cleared my throat acknowledging them.

"You can stay here for a while, I'll just check up on y/n." I said as I head back into the house.

I saw y/n crying kneeled down. I went to her side and hugged her.

"It's going to be okay." I say caressing her hair.

I hugged her tighter as she scooted towards me even more, shifting all her weight on me as she cried.

She doesn't deserve to be betrayed again, but I know Gal never intended for her and Tom to happen. They thought she was dead and they're just trying to move on from what happened back at their old home.

After a few minutes, y/n was able to cry herself to sleep. I carried her to her bed and put a blanket on her body. She's hurt and mad, and I'll be there to help her get back up again.

Going back outside, I saw Gal and Tom huddled up in the fire they've just made.

"Y/n fell asleep after tiring her eyes out from crying." I told them.

"We never intend for this to happen. We never meant to hurt her. We love her and she's our family and we thought she was gone." Tom said as he stood up.

"I know... listen, you guys can head inside. Y/n and I managed to build a few rooms here in case we come across a few injured people." I told them.

"She wouldn't want us here after what we did." Gal said, obviously ready to leave but I stopped her.

"Yes you've hurt her, and like you've said you never intended to. She may be angry for the time being but I've know her for the past 8 months, you guys are still her family and after almost losing you guys to that Peter jerk, I bet she will do anything to protect you even after everything that happened." I explained to them.

Tom nodded in agreement. I smiled as I helped them gather their things and lead them to their room.

It will hurt for y/n but she's strong, and I know she loves her family more than anything. When y/n wakes up they'll be able to have a proper conversation.

My job now is to be there for her no matter what happens.
