A Change of Plot

I DECIDED TO FINISH THIS BOOK FINALLY BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE YOU AND I AM SO SORRY. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHOM ASKED AND READ. I LOVE YOU ALL.

I drove to the next game with Derek because Stiles had to be there early. And as awkward as I thought it was for him to be so infatuated with my teacher, I was happy for him. It was as if he could finally let himself be happy. If he was happy, so was I.

Stiles got benched for the first half of the game, but that didn't stop me from cheering for him and Derek from judging me for doing it. He seem to feel less concerned with not playing when he had someone still cheering him on. Bless his soul. Scott played the entire first half as usual because he's Scott McCall. Go figure. My boys- so different, yet so close. And then there is Derek whom talked to Ms. Blake for the entire half.

Somewhere in the middle of the game, a player got hurt terribly bad. Stiles and I both questioned whether this would be his big shot. It wasn't. CAN YOU BELIEVE GREENBURG GOT PUT IN BEFORE HIM? Thankfully (or maybe not so thankfully), another player got hurt and my boy got put in the game. He looked so surprised and just dwelled up at me, arms in the air. I mouthed " you got lucky" to him as he got pushed into the field grabbing a stick on his way. I was so happy for him.

WAIT WHY IS SCOTT LEAVING THE FIELD? Did Stiles replace him? ISAAC IS LEAVING TOO! I looked to my left to see Derek was no longer there. WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Stiles seemed to notice too because he looked up a me. I gave an unknowing shrug of concern. He should stay here so I just threw him a thumbs up. This is his moment. I need to find where the guys went.

I went to the parking lot to find Derek's car gone. Scott's motorbike was still here though. Something glimmered on the ground. HIS KEYS! How ironic and probably fatal? I took his bike around the school praying they would be there.
While circling, I received a call from Deaton. " The warehouse in the woods" was all I could make you before he hung up. I started
the bike and speeded up there.

Apparently, I speeded too much. I got pull over by an Officer Parish. What kind of name is that?
"I AM SO SORRY I HAVE TO DO THIS" I said before socking him in the nose and heading off. DID I JUST DO THAT? ME? BETHANY?
I finally got to the warehouse, hoping I wasn't too late. Wait, WHAT WAS MY PLAN TO KICK THEM WITH MY BENCHED SOCCER LEGS? Concerned filled my face in the color red.

I heard a bang and suddenly my head started to hurt. WAIT.

MY HEAD HURTS REALLY BAD. IS THAT BLOOD? I'VE BEEN HIT WITH SOMETHING.

That was the last thing I thought before everything went black.

I woke in the hospital 5 hours later with a massive headache. I missed all the action once again. Not only did I wake to Stiles and Derek with their adorning and flattering concern, but I awoke to tragedy- to the devastation of Isaac not making it through the battle I never even made it to. I mourned him as I would mourn a brother or even a cousin.

This just goes to show that even the supernatural can get burnt in the art of war, but for the ones we love, war is always worth it.
