"They're attacking us now?" Skolris asked in a frightened tone. Ananucas nodded his head. "Yes, and that was a small patrol of them. They had just a bit of C-4 on hand. These people are sketchy and they are always carrying weapons so you should probably just stay away from this area for a bit so we can check it out." He said. Then, looking at the dark sky, he added,"come on, let's go back. Its getting dark."

     Skolris followed him through the forest towards the caves. There was no doubt that he didn't trust her. He kept peering back over his shoulder at her every five minutes. If he doesn't trust me, then he should make it less noticeable.. 

     "have Antariel and Nymos told you about their new powers?" He asked suddenly. Skolris nodded her head,"yah, they have." She said simply. Ananucas stopped and faced her,"it's weird, nobody has ever been able to be like you.. or Antariel or Nymos." He said.

     Skolris said nothing. Whats he getting at? "These attacks are increasing  and getting stronger each time. We can't make any progress either. They know where we are, but we don't know where they are." He said quietly.

     Skolris looked curiously at him as he continued. "We have alot of people who are willing to fight, but they have more. They have Calenms who can make 100s of Images at once. We have Calenms that can only make 10s at once." He said while leaning against and tree amd looking Skolris straight in the eyes.

     "They have a boss who can steal other people's powers and bonds for himself. There is no doubt he looking for you right now. You are the only person who can shift into any animal you want. Now Nymos and Antariel have two more forms. He's probably looking for you now.... but, i need you guys for something."

    Skolris's eyes widened when he said 'steal powers and bonds.' Could someone really do that? Were those people who had wanted to capture her while in dragon form really not faking it?

    "I need you and your friends to help us defeat the Xermimors. I have been thinking of a plan. It's really risky but.. it'll do and it defiantly is worth a risk. We all have to participate though. I will tell you when we get back to the caves. Let's go."

     They arrived at the caves not long after their interesting conversation. Ananucas gestured for her to enter another room which, in fact, was much nicer and bigger then hers and her friends room. A little later, Ananucas entered with Nymos and Antariel.

    They all sat down at a long wooden table. "While i was out patrolling our island, i watched Skolris scare off a small group of Xerminors, or the people who have been bombing places." Antariel interrupted by muttering under her breath,"and killed Skolris's mother..." 

    Ananucas ignored her and continued on," so far, you three are the only people with multiple forms and powers, which means that... well.. you are our secret weapons." Nymos's face hardened,"so, you're using us? You're asking a bunch of 15 hear olds to do something that can possibly get us killed? Us being your secret weapon?" He asked furiously.

    Ananucus held his hand up,"i havn't gotten into the actual details and plans yet, but yes.. that is what im asking." Everyone was silent for an awkward minute before Ananucas started again.

     He clapped his hands together,"so, here's the plan! We will pretend to stop patrolling the borders of this island and hope that the Xerminors come and try to attack us. We will fight them off and when they leave, i want you three to follow the ship. Find their base and when your their, send one person back to report to me. Tell me where it is and ill send people over to investigate and or to destroy it." He said in a 'not a big deal' voice.

     Antariel raised an eyebrow,"and, how do you suppose us to be able to defend ourselves while the other is gone? Isn't that unsafe?" She asked. Skolris shook her head,"we all have different forms, remember? They won't recognize us!"

     Nymos nodded and tapped his fingers on the table,"this may work, i guess. I mean, its not bad but, y'know, who knows." He said. Skolris smiled at his uncertain face. I have never seen Nymos scared before.

    Ananucas dismissed them with a flick of his large hand after going over a couple of things beforehand. Now, the trio watched a random history show on tv while they waited for their meal to come.

     The show went on about the history of their home island, Sanbrai. It described it's founders and the battles that had gone on about territory disputes.

     After their meal, all three of them settled down on their beds. Skolris folded her arms under her head and crossed her legs. "So, what do you think about the plan?" Nymos asked with his face in his pillow.

     Skolris shrugged and Antariel smiled a bit,"i guess it'll be fun. Because, this was the reason we didn't return home, right?" She asked. Skolris recalled trying to convince everybody to help her find the Xerminors. "Yah, it is.. are you guys prepared?"

     Her two friends nodded their heads. They were silent for a couple of moments while they thought about what may happen durring this mission. To follow people with a bunch of bombs and other weapons. Not to mention hundreds of images and powerful-powered people.

     "You know, this kinda reminds me of that story called Jour vou le câder" Antariel suddenly said. "Jouney of the young.." Skolris muttered. "They succeeded in the end. They found their way past all their hard times and when they lost eachother, they never gave up and ended their journey together." Antariel said wistfully.

    "Yah, i remember having my parents read it to me when i was small..." Nymos said with a smile.

     The door to their house cave suddenly creaked open and Ananucas stepped quietly in. "Are you all ready?" He asked. Skolris sat up and wore a confused gaze,"ready? When are we leaving?" She asked.

     Anancus gave one of his charming smiles,"well, we have already spotted one of the Xerminors boats. It wasn't necessarily heading towards us but it was going somewhere. Your mission starts earlier then expected. Get ready to take flight!"

Soooo, my inspiration to write this series of books was just from a couple if stories which i will list down below! When i heard of a shapeshifter, i became instantly interested and thought about writing some stories about them, which i did. But this is the only one i left published. I have 3 more that used to be published but they are currently drafts :)
