All I knew is that Clary knew nothing and I knew it all because I had killed a demon, went home, and demanded mom tell me. After she told me I ran away I took one of the steles and pack my clothes for some reason I know all of the runes. I run to nearest Institute, the New York Institute. I walked in and that was when I was five years old. Since then I have trained as much as I can so when we went out on a mission and I saw my sister it scared the hell out of me she saw me after Jace knocked into her I stayed near him.

"Lexa?" she asked

"Come on Jace we have a mission to do, I would like to go home before Mairse calls."

"Okay."

We walk into the club and I see Magnus I walk past him and glare at him.

"Magnus we need to talk quickly." he stays sitting down and looks at me

"What is it young Shadowhunter?"

"My sister is coming."

He looks surprised as I walk away, I join Izzy as the demons come we beat them I look over and see my sister I run over to her.

"Get the hell out of here, now."

She gets up I slash the last demon's stomach and walk out Alec close behind me. We hold hands as we walk back to the Institute. I hug Alec and then go into my bedroom for the rest of the night. After I am done calling Mairse, I get ready for bed I put in a movie and spend the next two and a half hours watching the movie. Then I pull out a book and start reading it. I hear a knock on the door, I get up and open the door to see Alec with some candy in his hands.

"Mind if I come in."

"Sure... what's going on Alec. You never bring in this much candy unless something happened."

"Jace went out and found your sister she was attacked by a demon. But the worst part is that your mother was taken by Valentine."

"He did what? I told him to leave her alone. And that woman isn't my mother she lied to me about the world we live in. Thanks for the candy, if I remember my sister she is going to create lots of drama."

Alec sets his hand on my shoulder, giving me a sympathetic look before he leaves to do more work in the Institute. I add the candy to the stock of candy that he has gotten me and what I have gotten myself. I get in my bed and fall asleep.

When I wake up the next morning and get dressed in another leather jacket. I walk down the stairs and see that Clary is on the couch and Jace is sitting next to her. She is awake I look at Hodge he points to her and then him. I nod my head and walk in the room.

"Hodge wants her."

"Lexa."

"STOP! You aren't my sister Izzy is and Alec, Jace and Max are my brothers. Marise is my mother not Jocelyn. Now come one Hodge wants to speak to you."

I grab her arm and drag her off of the couch and through the middle of the floor to where Hodge is training with Sofia. I grab a wooden staff and throw it at her and then I grab a sword, Hodge and Sofia stop to look at us.

"Defend yourself!"

I take up my stance then I attack her after five minutes she falls down the wooden staff in two pieces.

"Like I said you don't belong here." I grab her shirt and pull her up "I want nothing to do with you Clary."

And with that I walk down the steps to Izzy, she is looking at a screen.

"Please tell me you have some sort of mission Izzy."

"Yes there is a rogue vampire killing mundanes."

"Sound fine enough for me lets go."

I activate a rune on my arm and hold out my arms, Izzy does the same thing. Then we walk out of the room and out onto the streets to find the rogue. It doesn't take us long to find the rogue, we knock him out and take him back to the graveyard and open the door to the Silent City we close the door and walk away.

When we reach the Institute Alec greets us. I hug him and go to the elevator I get on with Alec and Izzy following me up to my room.

"What is your deal with your sister?" Izzy asks me

"Izzy she and that woman are not my family. That woman told me that all she wanted was Clary she never wanted me, she spat at me and told me she wished that I was dead. That is why when I came here I was injured she attacked me with her seraph blade."

By this time I am crying, Izzy and Alec hold me close. All that I can think of is of my adoptive family and how they treated me better the last twelve years than my birth mom treated me in five years. I look up at them and wipe the tears from my eyes.

"That's why you never stop training isn't."

"Yes."

"Who else knows about this?"

"Magnus Bane, I went to him on numerous occasions after that woman took her seraph blade to me."

"Will he tell?"

"Not if he is forced to, severely."

They sigh and let me out of there arms I go to my candy drawer and pull out a few pieces I toss them over my shoulder and hear Izzy and Alec catch them. Before they walk out of my room. I sit down on my laptop and fill out a report on the mission and then I send it to Hodge. I get up and walk down the hall to the elevator I get on and push the button for the main level.

"Are you ever going to tell me why?" I hear Clary's voice

"That isn't any of your concern."

"It is mine you're my sister."

"Since when have you cared when we were so small in her womb that we couldn't move. You haven't seen me in 12 years!"

I turn around and ignore her.

"Hey I was talking to you!!" she slapped me

"You should have not done that."

I turn around and punch her in the face, she falls back for a minute before she comes back at me, I kick at her she ducks the elevator doors open and we tumble out of the doors I get off first I drag her off the elevator and throw her backwards. She comes at me I bring my fists up and when she comes up at me she hit me in the face my head falls back. I right my head I grab onto her head and run on the wall then I throw her on the ground she gasps for air, I place my boot over her throat and look down at her.

"Don't ever hit me again, if you do I give more blood to taste. Got that Clary Fray?"

I stand up and look up seeing everyone staring at me.

"Mind your business!!!!"

I walk off to the kitchens and grab a bag of ice and set it against my face, and I sigh in relief. The coolness of the ice feeling good on my now bruise.

"Why did you do that?"

"She hit me first Hodge, you always taught me that if something punches me I get to hit it back." he chuckles

"I did, didn't I. Let me see the bruise. That's not bad."

"It isn't the worst I have gotten."

"True Jace has given you worst in training."

I hear footsteps and I see Clary standing there with Sofia showing her the way Jace follows I see her belt is tucked in I get an idea.

"Dear sister you can have my bag of ice- down your shirt!"

I dump the ice down her shirt, it stops at her waistline.

"Oh is that cold, I'm sorry. NOT!!! Next time you want to arm wrestle just come and tell me!!"

Jace picks me up and carries me out the door.

"Stop it, what are you doing? This isn't you!"

"Oh really why don't you ask Izzy and Alec what that girl's mother said to me when I was five years old."
