"Hiroshi, do you think this one is good?" She asked showing a one piece short sleeve pink dress, with an open back

"No, it's ugly. Go find different one." He immediately responded

"How about this?" She asked showing a white strapless dress

"Change" he again responded then sigh. He approached her wardrobe and grabbed a black long sleeves dress with turtle neck, and the length was below her knees "here, wear this"

"Wow..." she responded in low tension

"It's not a grand gathering. You don't need to wear an extravagant dress. So, it's not worth it to wear such dress"

"Yes, yes. I'll go change now."

"Tell me again, why do we need to attend such boring gathering?" He questioned her

"You were invited!" She shouted back "since you are a famous scientist! And you invited me!"

"You as well" he sighed then crossed his arms "you are smarter than me"

"But your inventions are more famous. And for me, I am well known before, but because of that project... anwyays, I wasn't invited by them, it was you who invited me"

"But even still, I believe that you can do it."

"I know" she giggled then get out of her walk-in closet, wearing the dress he chose for her "as long as Hiroshi believes in me, I will do my best to continue my impossible research"

"It's possible, I guarantee it" he chuckled as he stared at her "why does all the dresses you wear looks good on you?" He sighed

"You chose this one! But I looked like someone attending a funeral" she retorted

"You look gorgeous. Anyways, let's go" he extended his hand to her, and she accepted it. He led her to his car and they headed to the hotel where the party would be held.

Just to make it clear, the two aren't dating, but just merely childhood friends with same interest in science and inventions.

(F/N) linked her arm to Kamiya, who escorted her inside. She suddenly became nervous as people looked at the two of them when they entered the party hall. It was a party for all the scientists and researchers across the country.

"They are looking at us, again" she whispered in displease

"Don't mind them. They are jealous that you are so gorgeous and your are with me" he chuckled and they continued their way. "It's too bad that our friends won't be here today."

"Yeah, if they are here, at least I could breath." She agreed and sighed "they didn't tell us earlier that they won't come"

They greeted some people who were there, but they only greeted Kamiya Hiroshi, not her.

They decided to rest to the side, since Kamiya noticed how uncomfortable she was.

"Should we head home?" He asked and she nodded slightly "it's better there than here after all"

The two went to some of Kamiya's acquaintance, to inform them that they are heading home, but on their way our, three young scientists approached them, with a mocking smile

"Kamiya-sensei, are you leaving already?" One of the women asked and he only nodded "why? Let her leave, why you need to go?"

"We live in the same place. Also, we just attended here because I wanted to boast my gorgeous and smart partner." Kamiya immediately responded with mocking smile

"But her research, will remain as a research-"

"Who says so?" He chuckled "just to let you know, you are all young, and your research are all crap and from baseless theories?" He smiled at them then excused themselves "well then, we'll be leaving"

It was dead quiet when the two drove back to their house, or they call it their lab. It was located inside the forest, near a man made lake. It was a big and wide two-storey house, with multiple basements, and it was just the two of them living there. The house was designed by the two of them, and of course, the money used to built it was from their inventions and research.

They are both well-known scientists, with multiple inventions garnering the whole world. However, one of (f/n)'s inventions was rejected because lots of people found it impossible and dangerous. Because of that, her fame turned 180 degrees, and people degraded her. Though there were still who believe in her, and find that invention of her possible, and helpful.

As they arrived in front of their gate, Kamiya stopped the car even before entering

"(f/n)..."

"Hmmmm?" She responded who had her eyes closed, still having a nap

"Did we forget to turn off the stove or what?"

"Did we even cook today? No, right?"

"Then, what's that smoke coming out behind our house? And light as well"

(F/n) opened her eyes and as what Kamiya said, there was a light and smoke coming out behind their house.

"Is someone trying to burn our house?!" She shouted and immediately get off the car, they ran off behind their house to see what it was

Kamiya followed her behind and to their surprise, the light went off, and only smoke remains.

"What the heck...?" The two gasped as they didn't know what was going on. They looked at each other but flinched when they heard branches cracking. Kamiya immediately pulled (f/n) closer to him, and the two nervously looked towards the direction where the sound was coming from.

And the two knew, someone is there, approaching them.

"That was a bad landing" The two blinked fast as a man wearing a black cardigan with white shirt on it, and black jeans appeared before them. And when the man noticed the two, he made a big wide smile "Ah! Kamiya Hiroshi-sensei, and (l/n) (f/n)-sensei! I was able to land safely and saw you two right away!"

"Who are you? And you know us?" Kamiya suspiciously asked

"Yes, you two are famous scientists after all, so yes, I know you. My apologies for not introducing myself, I am OnoD!"

"OnoD?" The two curiously asked

"Yes, I am from the future!"

"..."

Silence covered them and the two looked at him more suspiciously

"Should we call a police? This man is trespassing our private property" (f/n) suggested in which Kamiya agreed then got his phone out

"Wait, wait! Listen to me first! I am telling the truth. Should I show you the time machine I used? Also, I don't have time anymore. I could only ask the two of you! If you don't believe in me, I can prove that I am really from the future. Though, I am from the future more ahead of this generation"

The two looked at each other and Kamiya gestured (f/n) to decide.

"Well, let's continue this talk inside since it's chilly and I am hungry."

"Is it okay?" Kamiya worriedly asked

"Well, if you are a scientist, we need to believe this kind of possibility. Plus, I am positive that a certain someone is working on a time machine."

"Ah, that's Kamiya-san, right?" The man named OnoD commented in the side, still having a wide smile

Kamiya sighed then glared at him "how did you know? Only (f/n) and one of our friends know about it"

"As I said, I am from the future." He laughed

In the end they let the man named OnoD inside their house.

"Wow! Your house is surely huge and spacious! So bright! Nise aesthetic colour combination! And it's just the two of you?! Are you two already married, (l/n)-san"

"You can call me (f/n). Then OnoD-kun, right? let's be clear once again" (f/n) spoke dodging what he just asked "you are from the future and future more ahead of this generation. Why are you here?"

"Ah, I am looking for the two of you."

"Us?" Kamiya asked as he came in pushing a cart with tea and cakes "why are you looking for us?"

"Well, because I was told that you will be able to help me. Only you two can help me" OnoD responded, looking at them with serious look

"And that is?

"Well, first, I can't tell you who told me this, but Kamiya Hiroshi-sensei will be able to help me return to my own time. Well, because I could only travel one way from my time to this specific time, I need help from Kamiya-san since you are working on time machines."

"My inventions of time machines are not successful though. So I can't help you" Kamiya immediately retorted

"No, no, I am sure that you will be able to help me."

"And me?"

OnoD looked at her and he bowed down "I want you to teach me your research, about cybernetic organisms"

"Huh...?"

"I know you are doing a research about anthropomorphous. But you changed your research and wanted human to live longer using cyborg parts"

"But there are more people who already did that, compared to mine. Also, I stopped researching about that already."

"Yours is different. Instead of just external body part, yours is more of the internal part-"

"OnoD-kun" (f/n) stood up and sighed "I am sorry that you travel from far future, but I couldn't help you at all"

"No, but-"

"If ever what you are saying is right, then I should have saved a certain friend of mine" she smiled then got her cake and cup of tea "I'll head to my room. You can stay here, since Hiroshi will be able to help you, since his is far more possible than mine"

She excused herself, leaving the two in the living room

"Kamiya-san, is that okay?!" He nervously turned to Kamiya, who was calmly drinking his tea

"Well, that's what she said. But if you know her from the future, you should know very well then. She's still doing the research, but keeping it a secret."

"I don't have much time though. I need to return to my own timeline as well."

"Just rest for tonight. I'll see what I can do for your time machine, well, make sure to show it to me tomorrow. I'll also talk to (f/n)"

"Thank you Kamiya-san. You really are kind, though you are a tsundere and a sadist most of the time"

"Shut up, leave me alone"

OnoD laughed and also enjoyed his cake and cup of tea, while telling Kamiya about the things that his timeline has that their timeline doesn't have.

After a long talk, Kamiya showed his room and asked him if he had necessities, in which OnoD showed one of the technologies they have. He pushed a button on his watch, then a bagpack came out of it

"I am fully prepared"

"Wow, these inventions, I only saw these from anime, like dragonball"

"Hahaha, from capsule corporation, right?"

"You sure know lots. Anyways, rest now. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Thank you very much. Good night"

OnoD watched Kamiya left before entering his temporary room

When he get in, he sighed then gripped his hands "I'll make sure to save you. I'll do what it takes to make her continue her work"

Kamiya knocked on (f/n)'s door and she answered telling him to come in.

"Did you calm down?"

"I am calm"

"As far as what you did a while ago of walking out of the room, you lost your composure." Kamiya sat down on her floor couch "you aren't really planning to help him"

"How can I help him if I can't even do it? I am in the middle of my new inventions and research, and I can't just pause them and help him with an impossible request" (f/n) looked at him then chuckled "plus, I am bothered with his name."

"It's just a name. Don't be bother about it"

"How about you? Will you be able to help him with the time machine?"

"I'll see first his time machine. I feel like the missing link of my research, I will be able to see it there"

"Then, we'll be able to return to that day?"

"We don't know. I hope so. But, I am still thinking, if we return to that day, and return to our own timeline, will there be any changes?"

"Of course, there is!" (F/n) agitatedly responded "there should be."

Kamiya sighed as he stood up "well, we'll see how it goes." He approached her then patted her head "go to sleep. If you can't help with his request, at least help me with the time machine"

"I understand. I'll help tomorrow"

And before he left "(f/n), I am sure that you can help him. There's a huge difference from then and now. Well then, have a good night"

(F/n) sighed as she laid down on her bed, staring at the ceiling. "But then, will Hiroshi be okay if we go back in time?"

Kamiya on the other hand, instead of heading to his room, he went to the basement, not the normal basement, but his secret basement, in which (f/n) also didn't know

As the elevator opened, he grabbed multiple coats, wear them, then walked inside the freezing basement.

He went at the very end and looked in front of him. His breathe could be seen because of the absolute cold temperature

"Well, reality, she might get mad at me if she found out about this"

~next day~

"So the smoking and light from last night was from your time machine" (f/n) crossed her arms, standing in front of OnoD's time machine

"Well, actually, I landed badly last night because I didn't have enough quantum energy. Well, I luckily landed here in my destination"

"Ah is that so?" (F/n) responded showing no interest at all then shouted "Hiroshi, did you find anything interesting?"

"Yeah, found here and there" Kamiya shouted back as he was inside the time machine "wow, these are all interesting" he awed then get off the machine "surprisingly interesting"

"What did you find?"

"Quantum mechanisms, tricky algorithms, I found interesting stuffs"

"Will you be able to do it?"

"No" he clearly stated, silencing the two "Well, I don't have the missing part so no"

"Eh? Then what should I do?!" OnoD nervously asked

"Give me time, I'll see if I can do something about it. That's why!" He glared at the two and pointed at them "I'll be in my lab, so don't you dare interrupt me! Don't you dare knock or anything!"

"How about food?" (F/n) worriedly asked

"No need. Just, don't interrupt me!"

"Roger!" The two immediately responded and Kamiya left to his lab

"He found something interesting" (f/n) commented in much of OnoD's surprise

"Eh?! If he finds something amazing, he'll lock himself?! Is that even normal?!"

"For him, yes. Just annoying that he needs to hide on his lab."

"(F/n)-san surely cares for Kamiya-san. You really like him. I knew it, you two are already married-" and with that he received a kick from her "eh?! Why?"

"You are annoying! And stop spouting those words." (F/n) hissed then stretched her hands "now, what should we do? Do you want to go downtown and go around?"

"Uhm before that"

"Hmmm?"

"About last night. I apologize that I might offend you with my request"

"No, I apologize as well that you came here, and I won't be able to help you. Well then, let's go. I am hungry. We don't know when he will come out again, so let's go "

"Y-yeah."

The two went to the city, went around and bought groceries. They even went to buy some necessities for OnoD.

And as they were going back to the parking lot

"Ahre, (f/n)?!" They looked at the person who called her, and she bowed down at him

"Yo, Irino Miyu-kun. Thanks for not attending last night's event" she hissed in annoyance

"Eh...?" The man named Irino Miyu blinked fast then laughed "Don't tell me you attended last night's boring event?! That Kamiya Hiroshi went there too?!"

"You told us last minute, so yeah we did. But well, we went home right away too."

Irino laughed then turned towards OnoD, whose eyes were sparkling

"Does Hiroshi know that you are with someone? Who is he?"

"Ah, this is OnoD. Hiroshi knows him. And well, Kamiya Hiroshi locked himself on his lab"

"Hmmm, so he found something interesting." Irino turned to OnoD and slightly bowed down "I'm Irino Miyu-"

"I am OnoD! And Yeah! I know you! I read your inventions and researchers! I am looking forward for your teleportation invention"

"Eh...?"

"Hmmmm?"

There was a moment of awkward silence, and (f/n) gazed away, not wanting to save OnoD from what he just said

"(F/n), did you tell him? Or did Hiroshi tell him?"

"No, I didn't tell him about that."

"Ah... Sorry, so you haven't gone through the process yet?" OnoD bowed down with big goofy smile and apologized "sorry."

"How did you know about that though?"

"..."

"Hmmmm?"

"Believe it or not he is f-mmmpfh!" OnoD covered her mouth then awkwardly laugh

"Uhm, you could just say that I just know. Anyways, we are heading back now. It's nice to meet you Irino Miyu-sensei! Let's go, (f/n)-san"

He pulled (f/n) back to her car and when they arrived to her car, he freed her

"What's with that?!"

"Well, I don't mind telling you and Kamiya-san where I came from. Other than that, there might be a problem in the future, so..."

"I understand. Sorry about that. Anyways, let's go"

The two went home, and OnoD taught (f/n) the technologies they had, and (f/n) found them amusing. Same as Kamiya

"Wow, these inventions, I only saw these from dragon ball."

OnoD laughed and nodded "yeah, Kamiya-san also said the same thing"

Five days had passed since Kamiya entered his lab, and the two were becoming worried. As far as (f/n)'s experience, Kamiya would only be in his lab for the maximum of three days.

And the midnight of the sixth day, OnoD went down to the kitchen to drink. He got a glass, then opened the refrigerator, but closed it when he remembered that it has its own dispenser outside.

Once he got a full of water, he sighed. "I'm running out of time"

"You are right. You only have less than two weeks." OnoD flinched then looked behind him and there he saw Kamiya sitting on their wine counter table.

"K-Kamiya-san?! You came out!"

"Yeah, I need a help from Miyu after all." He responded then sipped on his glass of wine

"Are you okay drinking? How about food?"

"Ah, don't worry, I have enough food inside my lab. I eat there"

"Make sure to tell, (f/n)-san. She is dead worried of you."

"Oh, I wanted to see that." Kamiya chuckled then turned to OnoD "but Ono Daisuke-kun"

"Eh..."

"I wanted you to do something for me"

"What... is it...?"

"Tell (f/n) that your (f/n) in your world, you were saved by her by changing most of your internal parts. She's really a genius, whatever world she is in."

"Uhm... what do you mean?"

"Nothing, just telling you what to do. If you want to save her, then ask (f/n). Anyways, I'll be asking Miyu's help to send you back to your world."

"My world? No, no, no. I am from the future. Also, if you are saying I am from different world, if there's a counterpart of me here in this world, where is he?"

"He told me not to tell you, but then, impossible. Ono-kun, there's a reality from your world, from this world, and from another world"

"Eh?"

"The reality that the three of us can't coexist in the same world. There's only one world that we can coexist, but other than that, we can never coexist, and that's the reality we are in. I think that answers your question, to what's really going on in your world, what happened to her in your world, and to the decision of me in your world and to where's the Ono Daisuke in this world."
