"OLIVIA" Courtney screamed.
She looked down and saw Olivia, the love of her life laying there.
Olivia had cuts and bruises all over her face and was bleeding a lot from somewhere.
The paramedics arrived and immediately raced her to the hospital.
The entire time Courtney was able to remain calm. She was told that she couldn't go into the operating room.
She sat out in the waiting room with her head in her hands, dead silent. She had called the squad to notify them and they had just showed up.
Mari walked up to Courtney and pulled her into a hug, Courtney immediately burst into sobs.
"Mari what am I gonna do" and "it's all my fault" were the only things anyone could understand what she was saying.
The whole group sat in silence for what seemed like forever.
The doctor finally called for Courtney and pulled her into a room.
"Mrs. Miller, she's okay. She's going to live"
Courtney began to cry tears of joy and broke a smile.
"The only problem is, uh, I'm sorry to tell you this but. The baby didn't make it".

Courtney sat in the hospital room staring at Olivia's bed. She had told everyone to go home and get some rest. Olivia's family had just left as well.
A million thoughts raced through her mind. Once Olivia woke up she would have to tell her about the fate of their unborn child.
She got up from her chair and walked over to the bed. Courtney kissed Olivia on the cheek and she immediately stirred.
"Hey court" Olivia mumbled
"Hey sweetheart" Courtney whispered back.
"Sweetheart, the baby didn't make it" Courtney began to sob.
"Wha-what?" Olivia questioned with tears streaming down her cheeks.
The two sobbed together without saying another word.
