Chapter 46

Normal POV:

"Woah Ecca, so we really are going back in time now? You know clearly what will happen if we accidentally change history when we get back as a time patroller, right?" Fu asks. Ecca smiles and nods.

"If we don't approach and meet any people in the past, especially yourself in the past, history won't be changed that easily." Ecca explains, "and if we really messed up with that, I'll go and change the wrong part!"

"Alright, if you say so... let's gooooo~" Fu chuckles and watches as Ecca opens up a purple, cross-shaped portal with her bow. That reminds him of all the fun time he had with her when he taught her how to make this portal.

"Come on, Fu!" Ecca grabs his wrist when he is not paying attention. She pulls him into the portal. They hold each other's hands tightly and reaches to the opposite side of the portal, the history of the war against Kodaika.

Ecca chooses a arriving spot which is quite good. There are no one around so they won't be spotted at the moment. Fu looks around and sees all the demon soldiers on the cloudy, grey sky.

"So... where are we going now?" He asks, "We can't be spotted. That will change the history." He adds. Ecca nods and walks south.

"We can't fly from now on or we will be spotted easily," Ecca explains, "And I remember that the ki blast comes from the south direction, so I think we'll walk around and see. Oh, and it's best not to fight or kill." Fu nods and follows her from behind.

Silence happens between them while they walks to the spot where the killer of Hearts was. Ecca has many questions to ask him, but she doesn't know how to say it.

"Hey Ecca, you look... annoyed and confused? Do you have anything to tell me?" Fu notices her worried face, so he asks. Ecca shows him a wry smile and nods. "Yeah... Fu, where was you when the battle starts? You showed up rather late, so I was wondering..."

"Ha! Are you thinking that I'm preparing some big things that Kodaika will use to defeat you guys?" Fu chuckles, "But sadly, no. He is a super egocentric person! He never want anyone's help. Even if he asked Dabura and the others work for him or capture you for him, he still wants to kill you with his own hands..."

Ecca rolls her eyes. "Yeah, a he's a self-centered bitch." Ecca complains. Fu jumps on his feet dramatically and gasps, he points his finger at Ecca, "Y-You swears? Oh my lord Ecca-chan cursed!" He yells a little. Ecca blushes and hits his head.

"Keep your voice down you idiot!" Ecca puts a finger on her lips and tells him to calm down. Luckily no one finds them. "What's the matter if I curse? It's not like you won't, baka..." Ecca

Fu chuckles. "I was in my lab and working on the last check of this thing!" Fu says as he takes out the device he gave Ecca to seal Kodaika's blood reborn, "I want this to be perfect. I want to help you. So I am late, sorry about that!" Fu rubs the back of his neck and chuckles, doesn't look a bit like apologizing. Ecca turns her head, pretend to be pissed by him, but the sweet smile on her face has spoiled her thoughts and feelings.

"Oh come on Ecca~ I just wanted to help~" Fu leans a bit closer to Ecca, hoping that she will not be mad at him. Ecca can't help looking at his cute face. She finally gives in and turns to him with a smiley face. She giggles and gently squeezes his face. "There will never be a next time! I don't want to travel over time to grab evidence for you again!" She says.

"Ouch... that hurts a bit..." Fu mumbles, rubbing his face. "But I know you'll still help me, right?" He chuckles. Ecca gently punches on his shoulders. Fu laughs and grips her waist, giving her a hug when least expected.

"Hm?" Ecca suddenly notices three strong ki flying up to the spaceship. She looks up and sees the other Ecca in this timeline, Hearts and Zamasu are flying towards to spaceship. "Fu!! There it comes! Find that guy!"

Fu immediately stops playing and looks around. Then he notices a demon power from a bush in front of them. "Ecca, look..." He whispers to the girl next to him. Ecca looks at the direction he pointed at.

A demon soldier is raising his hand,making a big ki blast in his hand and aims at the past Ecca. Ecca is very excited that she can barely breathe normally. She finally finds an evidence that can prove Fu is not the murderer! She takes out her phone and takes a photo of this. Fu looks at her, also very delighted.

"Keep the video well," Ecca mumbles yo herself, tries to restrain the excitement in her mind. Fu leans in and takes a look at the video she takes.

"Great video, Ecca!" He jokes as Ecca chuckles. "Let's go now... I don't want to see... him dead twice." After Ecca places her phone away carefully, she mumbles. Although she knows that Hearts won't die in that attack, seeing Hearts being that seriously injured makes her hurt a lot.

Fu notices her feelings about this. He smiles and gently pats on her shoulders and rubs her hair. "Okay, let's go and show them what we've got!" He holds a fist and laughs.

Suddenly, he feels a few demon power are approaching to them. "Ecca! The demons! They're coming!" Fu yells a little. Ecca looks at the direction he points at, starts to panic a bit too.

"Hide!" Ecca pulls Fu into the woods and runs. But the two demon soldiers notices someone is there so they rins after them.

"They're after us!" Fu looks back and tells Ecca. Ecca looks for a place to hide. But there's nothing but trees in the woods. Ecca decides to fly away at full speed, risking to let everyone seeing them but can leave safely. But when she is about to tell Fu about this, she feels a strong grip around her waist.

"Don't look at them, Ecca. Focus..."Fu leans to her and holds her in place in front of a tree so she can't go anywhere, "... on me." He says as he leans so close to her face. She can feel his hot breathe on her face.

"Fu, what are you tryi-" Ecca doesn't understand what is he planning. The demon soldiers are right a few feet away from them and they will be spotted if they don't run now! But she is cut off by the demon scientist's when he smashes his lips with hers, pulling her into a deep kiss.

(Fu kissing Ecca. Actually the demob soldier takes me the most time to draw lol)

"Don't look at them, they're coming!" Fu says, between the kiss as their lips separates for a moment. Ecca really doesn't understand what he's trying. She knows she is blushing madly when she feels her cheeks are hot as hell. Her heart is dancing so fast and she feels she's enjoying the touch of his lips.

The demon soldiers are slowly walking towards them. Ecca struggles a bit with a worried look in her eyes. But Fu gently touches her face and continues kissing her. Comforting her with the trace of his lips.

The two demon soldiers walks pass. They see a shadow of men behind the trees. They slowly raises their swords and walks to those people.

"Eww! Disgusting!" Then, one of the demon soldiers turns his head away when he sees Fu and Ecca kissing in the woods. That demon soldier doesn't bother to see who are they as he pulls his partner away.

"What's that?" The other soldier asks. The demon soldier shakes his head and makes a disgusted look on his face. "Don't ask, it makes me wants to puke..." He shakes his head and walks away. His partner glares at that direction he points at and sees Ecca and Fu kissing. He turns around immediately.

"Ew! What tough luck... Let's go now, or I'm gonna puke." The two Demon Soldier walks away slowly and leaves the range of both Fu and Ecca's sight. Fu slowly lets her go. Ecca is already in a blushing mess.

"They're gone..." Fu pulls away from her cheeks. Ecca feels her breathe is very quick and hot. She isn't looking at Fu. "L-Let's go back.." She takes a few deep breathes to calm herself down and says. But Fu then hugs her from behind when she isn't expected.

"F-Fu?! What are you doing?" She tries to struggle and get away from him. But she can't shake him off easily. Fu wraps his muscular arms around Ecca's waist and lets her head leans on his warm chest.

"Ecca..." Fu says with a soft tone. Ecca is stunned, doesn't move a bit. Actually she enjoys the warmth of his body and the special smell of his body. She is blushing even more. Fu holds her so tightly like he will never let go again.

"Ecca... I, I..." He whispers in her ears nervously, "Maybe I don't want to be just friends. I want to the one you're always talking about. I don't hear you always saying about Hearts, nor Zamasu. I want you to focus on me..." He says as he is also blushing.

"Fu... you little idiot." Ecca gently tips on his nose and giggles. She hugs him back, "Even if we can't be lovers... I promise that We'll be friends forever!" But she isn't sure is that what her heart wants.

"No." Fu shakes his head, "I don't wanna be friends."

"Best friends?"

"No."

"Mega best friends?"

"Still no..." Fu chuckles, "I wanna be lovers..."

His voice fades as the falls into the portal Fu makes that brings them home. But Ecca can still hear that sentence. *He... wants to be my lover...* She thinks as she blushes deep red.

When the two hold each other's hands and walk their way back to Capsule Corp, Ecca doesn't stop thinking about the relationship between her and Fu. They're already more than friends, but she can't say that they are lovers. What position is he in?
