"Thank you so much for cheering me up. I'm glad I bumped into you."

"I'm glad bumped into you, too," he smiled politely. Areum was glad that he didn't mention anything about the bruises on her body. "Um, sorry but what's your name?" Areum fumbled with her fingers. "Oh, right! My name's Park Jimin," he answered back with a cheerful tone.

     Park?

Is it possible that he's her brother? It can't be. They're absolutely different from each other, she thought to herself. "Hello?" A hand waved in front of her face lightly. She jumped and apologized quickly for blanking out. "I was wondering if—" Areum was interrupted by someone's voice.

     Someone very familiar.

Areum looked to the side and saw Park Yuna heading their way. She started panicking and wondered if she should just leave. "Jimin, who are you talking to?" Yuna squinted her eyes and they widened at the sight, "why are you hanging out with that fat b*tch? She's the girl who's trying to steal my man."

Areum took a step back in fear and stayed silent, looking down at the floor. Jimin stood in front of her, causing her to look up at him with a surprised look. He gave her a reassuring smile and patted her head before facing his sister again.

"Stop trying to hurt her. You should know better than to do that. You're no better yourself if you act this way and hurt people for your benefit. Not everything will always go your way. She's not stealing your man and you're not even that guy's girlfriend. He was never yours in the beginning. I'm sure he wouldn't like it if he saw what you are doing to this girl. And she's not fat. She's beautiful the way she is," Jimin said sternly in front of his sister.

Yuna scoffed and rolled her eyes, but didn't reply back. She was completely out of words and had nothing to say.

She walked away from the pair and headed off. Jimin turned around to face Areum once again. "Are you alright?" Jimin asked. She shook her head and started crying. Tears streamed down her face as she gripped on his arm. She was slowly breaking down and becoming more tired.

"I just want to be beautiful," she mumbled quietly.

Jimin hugged her tightly and patted her back to comfort her. "You don't have to be anymore beautiful cause you're already stunning the way you are now," he replied. Even with the response coming from Jimin, she was too stubborn to listen. Words continued to whisper throughout her head, telling her to become skinnier and to become beautiful.

It was too late to turn back.

Areum couldn't go back to who she was back then when she already came so far. She had decided what she wanted to do and that she'll finish what she had started. "You haven't told me your name yet," Jimin said, trying to lighten the mood. "My name's Lee Areum," she bowed politely.

"You don't have to bow down. I think we're in the same grade as each other," he scratched his head nervously.

His bright orange hair shone brightly against the radiating sunlight. It was such a captivating sight. His smile made the scene look even more extraordinary. A loud creak from the rooftop exit startled the two. Areum snapped her head to the left to see who was there, but no one stood by the doorway.

     Weird...

A thought popped up in her mind.
Did Jungkook figured I would be her after what happened in class? I guess it's pretty obvious since I love coming to the rooftop whenever I'm having problems, she thought. She snapped out of her thoughts and turned back to face Jimin.

"I should be heading off now. I'm sorry for wasting your precious time. Oh, and my name is Lee Areum. It has been a great time speaking to you," she bowed politely.

"I should be going soon as well. You don't need to speak so formally. Please speak as you wish to," Jimin smiled. "Okay, Jimin. Hopefully, we'll see each other again soon," Areum headed towards the exit and walked down the stairs, to attend her classroom that she had left before.

Should I feel bad for Jimin and apologize to him? After all, I'm calling out her sister, but I'm sick and tired of having to deal with Yuna now. I'm sick of being called fat and ugly. I'm sick of being punched and pushed around like a nobody. I'm done dealing with her now. It's too late to go back, she thought.

When she just turned a corner of the hallway, someone pulled her into a janitor's room and the door closed shut.

She struggled against the grip and repeating said, "let me go," while gritting her teeth. "Be quiet. It's only me, Jungkook," the person let go of his grip and turned on the lights. His face was apologetic and was covered with guilt. Areum averted her eyes, away from him and down on the ground.

"Areum, I'm really sorry for what I did. I shouldn't have said that out loud in front of our classmates. I shouldn't have pushed the topic against you and I made you cry. You don't have to forgive me. I just wanted you to hear that I'm really sorry," Jungkook said.

However, Areum stayed silent, not knowing what to say. Jungkook reached out his hand and waved it in front of her face, wondering if she blanked out. His hand was immediately slapped away, causing him to be surprised by the sudden action.

"Don't touch me. You're probably only saying that because you feel bad about the way I am. I don't need your pity. I know that you hanging around me is just a f*cking joke so that you can just leave me in the end," Areum said.

"But, I wasn't—"

Jungkook was cut off in his words.

"I don't think we should talk to each other anymore. It's better off that way," Areum said. To keep you from getting hurt, she thought. That was all she could think, but she was oblivious to the fact that Jungkook was already getting hurt by her words. They were like blades, cutting into his delicate skin.

She turned around and turned the knob of the door. However, it wouldn't unlock.

"Did the god damn janitor just lock us in here? Can't he hear us talking to each other?" Areum banged her fists against the door, but it was no use. Everyone was attending their classes and the hallway outside was completely empty.

     Areum glared at Jungkook.

How did I get stuck with this boy?

LONG TIME NO UPDATE ;-; I'm sorry. I have to read my summer reading list books so I have no time on my hands. I currently have to stay up late to do this instead. Tonight, I'm going to a restaurant and tomorrow, I'm going to a barbecue. I hate going outside unless I'm buying art supplies and kpop stuff. Also, I feel like my writing skills are slowly depleting. T^T

I'm a fan of BLACKPINK cause I love their songs. I love Lisa so much <3
