She was only 8 years old when the Uchiha Matriatch met her.

She was a bundle of sunshine and Mikoto loves sunshine very much. She adored every aspect of the girl and she wanted-no, she extremely wanted her to become her daughter.

Mikoto watched as the two children played and Mebuki and her were sipping tea and talking about life.

'They are too cute.' Mikoto internally squealed when Sasuke, her youngest, wiped the dirt in Sakura's face.

When Mikoto looked at the both of them, she realized something.

An Idea.

And that day, Mikoto Uchiha vowed to make Sakura an Uchiha by marrying her youngest, whether she liked it or not.

Sakura and Sasuke were now thirteen years old and was put together in one team and Mikoto was in such a good mood, if it weren't for her youngest to be so grumpy today.

Mikoto watched as Sasuke scowled in his chair as Itachi was smirking at his baby brother's face and her husband, Fugaku was reading a newspaper.

"How was Sakura-chan?"

Itachi asked out of blue and Sasuke seemed to be frozen in his spot. The eldest smirked when Sasuke glared at him.

"Why do you care?"

"Why does it bother you?"

Sasuke stood up and marched over to the door without a single word.

Mikoto frowned. Why was Sasuke so upset when Itachi mentioned Sakura? Doesn't he like her?

Meanwhile, Itachi smirked, "Otoutou, sometimes, you're so dense." He muttered slowly and saw his father glanced at him weirdly before going back to reading.

They were both eighteen when Mikoto noticed something odd between Sasuke and Sakura.

Whenever Sakura was around when Mikoto invited her over dinner, Sasuke would always be stiff and calm-too calm.

Mikoto wondered what was up about the two of them not until she caught the both of them.

However Mikoto did not bother them but she was feeling giddy because her plans were coming true.

The kimono that she ordered for Mebuki and Kizashi's daughter wouldn't be wasted.

That day, Mikoto kept on imagining wedding bells and wedding cakes.

Fugaku stared confused at his wife who was humming the wedding tune while making their dinner for that day.

Mikoto was sobbing hysterically as she watched Sakura smiling prettily as she walked towards the aisle. She was wearing a white dress and she was so beautiful.

When she reached the aisle she broke down even more. Her son, looking so dashingly handsome took Sakura's hand and together they walked towards the end of the aisle and exchanged their wedding vows.

Mikoto felt as if her heart would burst with happiness as she watched the two of them stared at each other with love and kissed.

Itachi watched his mother confused together with his wife, Izumi and laughed silently.

Meanwhile, Fugaku smiled at the scene. He had always liked the Haruno and he was happy that his youngest married a decent and a kind-hearted woman.

But he still doesn't get as to why his wife was sobbing to death right now. Was she happy or was she sad? Fugaku could only wonder why.
