As explosive as Rane's first year at Yokai ended it did more good than bad and Rane was ready to start his next year. He actually decided he could put up with Yokai Academy for 3 more years and was looking forward to his return as he rode his motorcycle through the woods on his way to the campus. The woods were so thick that it was dark even though it was the middle of the day but it was quiet and peaceful, which Rane didn't get that often so he was taking his time to enjoy it while it last. It didn't last long as from out of nowhere he felt the familiar sensation of a tire grinding against his head driving him off his back and knocking him to the ground. Everything went black for about a minute until the vision returned to Rane's eyes. All he could see and all he could hear was a girl with red hair complaining about how her bike was destroyed.
?????: Goddammit this was my favorite bike! Now it's ruined and I got a dead guy on the ground here.
Rane: I'm not dead yet.
The girl turned in suprise seeing that Rane was alive but her suprise quickly turned to anger.
?????: Well then you can pay for my new bike since you decided to break it with your dumb face!
Throughout his experiences at Yokai Rane's grown a shorter fuse than normal and this girl just lit it. Rane balled up his fist and stood up, he grabbed the girl by her shirt lifting her with one arm before slamming driving her head into the ground.
Rane: HOW ABOUT AN APOLOGY FOR RUNNING OVER MY HEAD WITH YOUR DUMB BIKE YOU STUPID LITTLE SHIT!!!
Once Rane's rage subsided he was able to notice that the girl wasn't moving.
Rane: Oh shit.
He checked to see if she was breathing and she was which means she was just unconscious. He also noticed that she was in a school uniform and there was only one school that was in the area so Rane let out an annoyed sigh.
Rane: First day back and I already meet probably the biggest pain in my ass for the year.
Rane decide to put her on the back of his motorcycle, leaving her bike behind thinking he'll go back for it later. Maybe he won't, he didn't care considering he probably had a concussion. He drove the rest of the way through the woods and through the front gate to Yokai Academy. The girl was still unconscious so Rane took her around back where there was a hose. He sat the girl along the wall, grabbed the hose and blasted water all over her causing her to wake up screaming so Rane stopped.
?????: What the hell you asshole!
Rane decided to give her another blast of water.
?????: Are you insane?!!!
That comment earned her another.
?????: I'll kill you, you jackass!!!
And another. Rane just kept going until she stopped talking which took about an hour. Rane left without a word or even getting the girl's name but in all honesty Rane was hoping that was the last time he saw her. He grabbed his bike and walked it back to the front of the school where he met hid first familiar face as she was sweeping around.
Ruby: RANE!!!
She dropped the broom and ran up to give Rane a hug.
Ruby: I've been waiting for you and the others to return.
Rane: Wait do you live here now?
Ruby: Yes, the school was so kind to let me stay. Do yoh require a place to park your bike?
Rane: There's a place for me to park my bike?
Ruby: There is now. You made quite the impression so the faculty thought they would make adjustments to accommodate you and others like you.
Rane: They're trying to keep me happy cuz they think I could lose it any minute.
Ruby: Pretty much. Let's get your bike put away and I can walk you to get your room. We better hurry though, the opening ceremony starts in an hour.
Rane: Lead the way.

The two of them went for a walk over by the cafeteria building where there was an addition to the campus with a garage big enough to hold bikes for multiple students if they needed. They stashed Rane's bike there and went back to the campus where Rane got his room key which opened his same room from last year. Looks like they were really trying to make Rane happy. With no time to lose Rane put on his uniform and headed to the school gymnasium where the ceremony was just getting started. He squeezed into a random spot in line as the principal and other staff members were telling their speeches. Rane was generally uninterested so he let his eyes wonder around the crowd to see if there were any familiar faces. He pulled out Saizo who had healed up pretty ok, those three lizard monsters were sweating when they realized Rane was looking at them and then he saw students in blue uniforms, student council members minus their fire fox boss.  He looked over into the girls section and found the mermaids looking beautiful but still hungry, the spider chick that ran the newspaper club who Rane was actually happy to see. He was worried that the student council had done something terrible to her but she's ok. However close together were the people Rane really wanted to see; Moka, Kurumu, Yukari and Mizore all decided to stand together one behind the other. It was there that Rane's eyes stayed for the rest of the ceremony so he wouldn't lose them when all the students began scrambling at the end. Rane tracked them down as they left, meeting them out in front of the gym.

Moka: Rane!

Yukari: You're back!

Mizore: It's good to see you.

Kurumu: Come give me a kiss!

Kurumu pounced at Rane with her lips puckered and she layed those lips on Rane's knuckles which he held out in front of Kurumu to fend her off.

Rane: I'll pass, thank you very much.

Kurumu: Come on, stop playing hard to get already.

Rane: With you Kurumu I'll play that game until I die.

Kurumu: Hmph.

Rane: Anyway how have you all been? 

Mizore: Bored, the outside world is disappointing now.

Yukari: Yeah, I have to agree.

Moka: Even though we were put through hell it was exciting here.

Kurumu: Guess we miss that feeling.

Rane: I for one don't. I'm hoping we can get through this year with no major problems.

Yukari: Won't be that hard considering everyone is afraid of you and Moka.

Rane: What? Why?

Ruby: The damages to the school of course.

Ruby had magically appeared in the middle of them all still with her broom which meant she was on duty.

Ruby: Even though the repairs were paid for you can't think that your display of power went unnoticed. The point was made enough when you took down the student council but then you two decided to go head to head with each other.

Rane: Riiiiiiiight. My bad.

Moka: Yeah, I'm sorry too. Oh and Rane, the inner me says hi.

Rane: You two can talk to each other?

Moka: Yeah ever since you nearly killed a teacher, it's come in handy.

Rane: Well thats good to know a year later. 

Moka: Yeah, so did you get here ok Rane?

Rane: Nope because guess what, some redheaded chick hit me in the head with her bike. Worst of all she's a student here.

Moka: Did she have green eyes and wearing a red uniform?

Rane: Yeah.

Kurumu: Did she also have a giant mace?

Rane: Giant wha-

Immediately Rane felt the crushing impact of steal spikes crushing his skull into the ground.

?????: YOU IDIOT!! HOW DARE YOU SPLASH A VAMPIRE WITH WATER?!!!

Moka: Kokoa?

Kokoa: Moka? 

Rane lifted his bleeding head out of the dirt and coughing up blood and dirt which made nasty mud.

Rane: So do you know this girl who I'm gonna kill in about 5 seconds?

Kokoa: Please, who do you think you are?

Rane stood up slowly, he could feel his anger growing within like his body was full of gasoline and Kokoa just threw in a match. He stood, towering over her as his body started to change. His skin started to smoke and burn from the inside out until there was nothing but bones that were surrounded by a flames and wrapped in leather. 

Ghost Rider: This is who I think I am!

Kokoa: You think I'm scared of some fire monster?

The rider roared at Kokoa shooting a stream of fire from his mouth that engulfed Kokoa leaving her covered with burns and black ash.

Kokoa: *cough* That's just like Moka to have someone strong to fight her battles for her.

Ghost Rider: What?

Kokoa: I can't believe someone like her is my sister.

In a fit of rage Kokoa turned and ran away and Rane returned to his normal self and turned to Moka with his most wide open.

Rane: That's your sister?!!

Moka: Yep, sorry but for some reason she hates me. It's been like that for awhile now.

Kurumu: Why would she hate you besides the obvious reasons.

Moka: I honestly don't know. She just does and I've tried asking the inner me about it but she goes silent every time I bring it up.

Mizore: That's strange. 

Yukari: Maybe you should try talking to her.

Moka: I would but overtime I get close to her I feel like she'll pull a weapon on me and try to kill me.

Rane: She seems like that type of person. How about we go with you so we can have your back incase things get ugly.

Moka: You guys would do that?

Kurumu: I guess.

Yukari: Of course.

Mizore: If Rane comes.

Ruby: Let's fix this relationship.

So the gang went to look for Kokoa and they found her over in the graveyard on the outskirts of the campus. Moka walked in alone and signaled the others to only jump in when she needed them to so she walked up to Kokoa from behind.

Moka: Kokoa, I came to talk.

Kokoa: I have nothing to say to you so get out of my face.

Moka: Kokoa , this has been going on for too long. Please we need to settle this.

Kokoa: You want me to settle it? I'll settle it.

From out of nowhere Kokoa pulled out a giant spiked hammer and swung at Moka. She managed to dodge and rolled over to a destroyed piece of metal fence that she managed to pull out of the ground. The two then began swinging and clashing blow for blow but Kokoa was out powering Moka more and more. They kept going until Kokoa swung hard enough to knock the fence out of Moka's hands. Moka fell to the ground and looked at Kokoa as she was about to go for the finishing blow.

Moka: Why are you always like this towards me? Why do you hate me?

Kokoa: BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT MY REAL SISTER!!!

?????: HEY!!!!

Rane: That sounds familiar.

Everyone turned to see Saizo the orc who had a scratch on his head which probably came from the metal fence that went flying out of Moka's hands. He began walking toward them in anger.

Saizo: I don't know what's going on here but I got a bone to pick with you two.

Rane: We're kind of in a moment right now.

Saizo: I DON'T CARE!!!

His steps got heavier as his body got bigger changing into a full sized orc.

Saizo: So who's getting it first.

Rane: Eh, I already went ghost rider this episode.

Rane decided to walk toward Moka and Kokoa, pushing Kokoa aside and helming Moka to her feet before pulling off her rosary and as it did every time the sky turned crimson with the light of a red moon as Moka's hair became silver and her skin more pale. Moka's dark self was finally back.

Dark Moka: So now I have to kick this guy?

Rane: Good to see you two Moka, now just take him down so we can all move on with our lives.

Saizo: You won't be taking me out this time!

Saizo charged at Rane and Moka with his massive fist ready to demolish everything in his path. As he threw his punch Moka stood in the way and lifted her leg to block it, stopping Saizo's motion in his tracks.

Moka: You talked like you got stronger. Honestly if this is all you have it's no wonder this guy scorched you last year. But I can do a lot worse.

Moka lifted her leg above Saizo's massive arm and delivered one powerful kick down into the back of his hand. Saizo felt the bones in his arm shatter with that one kick and to finish it off Moka drove her heels right under Saizo's chin sending him flying into the air and crashing down with a massive thud

Rane: Thought you said you'd do worst than me.

Dark Moka: Didn't feel like it, plus I wanted to have time to get out of her before-

Kokoa: BIG SIS!!!

From out of nowhere Kokoa tackled Moka and started smothering her with tears. 

Dark Moka: Kokoa, off!

Kokoa: But I missed you big sis.

Dark Moka: Goddammit, you're getting my outfit all wet now.

Kokoa continued to cry and wouldn't let go as everyone else kept staring.

Kurumu: Anyone else making sense of this?

Everyone else: Nope.

Dark Moka: She grew up with me before I had that rosary.

Everyone: OOOOOOOOOHHHHH
