✰she's gone✰

"That's it? That's all you have to say?" Allison asked. Floren rolled her eyes again. Five needed to just open up and tell everyone what was going to happen while they still had a little bit of time. She was giving him two hours, if he didn't tell them by then, she was taking matters into her own hands.

"What else is there to say?" He called back. "Circle of life."

"Well, that was interesting." Luther said. Floren chuckled and leaned back against the counter.

"You don't know the half of it." Floren told them, sipping a cup of orange juice which she had grabbed from the fridge.

"And what about you? You gonna tell us about what's happening? Why you're with our brother?" Allison asked. Floren shrugged and set down the cup.

"Well, I met your brother at the Commission, where we work. The Handler, our boss had taken an interest in me because of my mind and strength. She had found Five only a month before and we became fast friends, when we were given our first assignment, we were put together. One thing led to another, and now we're here." She said, trying to sum up her life without giving away key elements that Five would want to tell.

"What's the Commiission?" Vanya asked. Five had told Flroen about Vanya, how she was the only one without powers, but the closest thing that he ever had to a friend.

"The Commission is an orginization which protects the timeline. We are never in one specific time in the timeline. We have the ability to time travel and with Five, it's just way easier." Floren tried to Explain.

"That makes no sense." Diego said again.

"Let's simplify this, let's see. Oh got it. What if there was say a stray bullet heading for George Washington on the battlefield? One of our agents would come in about the day before and get rid of the man who was going to shoot the bullet. We have to protect the timeline, and make sure things go the way that they did the first time." She said.

"The first time? What do you mean by that?" Allison asked.

"Oh the Commission is years in the future, that's why we have so much technology and knowledge." Flroen answered.

"Right, but why does it exist?" Luther asked. Floren sighed and decided just to tell them the history of it.

"Far far away into the future, some bozo invented time travel and came back to a very important date and assassinated Hitler."

"Isn't that like a good thing?" Klause asked.

"NO!" Floren exclaimed, making them all jump. "No," she repeated calmer. "When Hitler died, Germany went into chaos, resulting in America trying to take control. Our aly's didn't like that and rebelled against the US which led to America being no larger than California. Things just went downhill from there. The time travel man was taken care of and his research was given to a board of directors who still run the Commission now. They formed and founded the company and we've been protecting the timeline ever since."

"Wait so you're from the future?" Diego asked.

"No actually, I am from the 60's. Pretty place, but not a place to be if you're a woman. The Handler found me and trained me personally. I'm sure she did it for some reason, she never does it just to. I've been trying to figure out why she trained me, maybe to train me, maybe so that she could pair me up with Five and so that..." She trailed off. "FIVE!" She yelled. He appeared next to her with a worried expression.

"What's wrong? Did they find us? Are you alright?" He asked, taking her face in his hands checking for any injuries. The Hargreeves at the table watched surprised. Ever since Five got here, he was sarcastic, rude, and closed off. But when Floren was a bit distressed, he was ready to kill anyone who hurt her.

"No, they haven't found us." she grabbed his arms. "Five, I know why they took Qi'ra I know why they wanted her gone." Five's eyes widened and he urged her on. The rest of his family watched silently. Who was Qi'ra and what did she have to do with Floren, Five and the Commission?

"She has powers, Five. I know it. That's why The Handler trained me personally. She wanted me to be the best so that you and I could pair up and to her hope, fall in love and have a supper baby." She said. "I never understood why she didn't just give me off to the processors like everyone else, but she trained you too right?" Five nodded.

"They took away Qi'ra before she even had a name, but she's alive Five, I know it. And she's in the hands of the Commission." There were tears in her eyes now and Five hugged her to him, stroking her hair as she cried.

"Lenny, you don't know that, we buried her years ago. She's gone. She wasn't breathing. They did tests. Lenny, she's gone." Five said. She pulled back and glared at him.

"I know it, she's alive Five. Don't doubt me on this." Floren said with a scowl. Five shook his head and pulled his emotions back into himself. He had buried his emotions the day that they buried their daughter, and both were not coming back. She's gone.
