✰one hell of a reunion✰

"Any of you wanna tell me the date?"

She asked, before walking into the house to find Five. The rest of the family followed her, all erupting with questions. They found her sitting on the counter in the kitchen watching Five grab things to make a sandwich. He had changed into his old academy clothes and the girl wore one of his undershirts and one of Allison's old skirts. They both wore rings around their necks on silver chains.

"What's the date? The exact date?" Five asked his siblings.

"The twenty fourth." Vanya answered. Five was always Vanya's favorite, he listened to her, and didn't tease her for not having any powers, they were very close before he left.

"Of what?" The boy asked.

"March." Five looked to the girl on the counter and they both nodded.

"Good," he said, returning to the bread on the table in front of him. His siblings stood around the table watching his every move.

"So, are we going to talk about what happened?" Luther asked, ever the leader, the Number One. Five ignored him and continued making what appeared to be the start of a sandwich.

"What are you doing?" Luther asked when everyone was in the room. Five looked at him for a second then looked back to his bread.

"Making a sandwich." He said with no emotion. "Do you know how long it's been since we've eaten solid food?" The girl chuckled and handed him the peanut butter and a knife.

"And who the hell is this?" Diego asked. The girl raised an eyebrow and hopped down to the ground.

"Floren Hargreeves-Janes, at your service." The siblings looked at her in astonishment. Was this another who was born on the same day as them? Sure it was a long shot, but their dad had been up to some shadey stuff. Maybe he addopted her too without them knowing about it. Did she have powers like them?

"Hargreeves?" Vanya asked. Floren seemed to realise the way that she worded the sentence and laughed lightly. Five chuckled as well, the most emotion that the siblings had seen out of him since he had gotten back. "Are you related to us?" She asked.

"Well, in a way." Floren said. Five tossed her the penut butter and dirty knife which she cleaned off in the sink.

"Care to elaborate?" Allison asked, annoyed with the vagueness of Floren's answers. Klause snapped and sat up with a big smile.

"Ahh, I've got it." The siblings looked to him, all of them begging for answeres. "Mr. Number Five has gotten an addition to the family for us." The rest of the family looked on in confustion. Klause rolled his eyes. "Our little brother has gotten himself a wifey." Floren laughed but Five remained Stoic.

"Lenny, grab me some marshmallows." He requested softly to Floren. She nodded with a smile and went to a cabinet to grab a bag. Luther stopped her however, slamming the cabinet door. Five tensed and Floren stared her brother in law down.

"Must have been a great wedding, I'm quite offended that I wasn't invited." Klause continued.

"It's been 22 years Five, where have you been?" Luther asked glaring back at Floren. The girl simply pushed him out of the way with strength that a thirteen year old girl should not possess, and opened the cubbord, looking for the marshmallows.

"It's been a lot longer than that." Five said to his brother, grabbing the marshmallows from Floren and teleporting back to the table.

"Havn't missed that." Luther muttered.

"Where'd you go?" Diego asked, stunned. Five continued to make the peanut butter marshmallow sandwich and answered.

"I went to the future." He said, cutting the sandwich in half and giving the other to Floren. "It's shit by the way." Klause applauded with a happy giggle.

"Called it." Floren smiled at the man and he grinned back. She could already tell that they would get along just fine.

"Ah, should have listened to the old man." Five continued. "You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice." Five looked up at Klause with furrowed brows and said, "Nice dress."

Klause looked down flattered, and gave a little swish. "Oh, danke." said with a smirk.

"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asked. At least she was asking relevant questions. Five thought to himself.

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantem state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." He said effortlessly. Floren rolled her eyes and the rest looked on in confusion.

"That makes no sense." Diego said.

"Well it would if you were smarter." Diego rose out of his seat, but Luther held him back.

"How long were you there?" Luther asked, still holding back his brother.

"45 years, give or take." Five said. Luther and Diego sat down in shock and Floren had to hold her laughter back with her hand.

"So what are you saying? You're 58?" Luther asked, eyes wide.

"No, my consciousness is 58." He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Apparently my body is now thirteen again."

"How does that even work?" Allison asked. Floren rolled her eyes. What part of being trapped in a body do they not understand?

"Delores kept saying that the equations were off." He took a bite of his sandwich. "Bet she's laughing now."

Floren sighed loudly and groaned. "Will you stop going on about Delores, she's a mannequin. I'm your wife. I knew those equations were wrong but did you listen?" She paused. "NO! And now I'm stuck in this undeveloped body who still has menstruation problems! I thought I was done with all that shit, but now thanks to you and your stupid equations, I have to pay for tampons agian. So thank you Five, I really appreciate that." The siblings watched her rant fascinated. What the hell was she talking about?"

"Jelous of Delores are we?" Five taunted. Floren glared at her husband and crossed her arms.

"Hold on hold on, how old is she?" Klause asked.

"58 the same as myself. We met at work, and have been married for 25 years." Five answered shortly, taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"Who's Delores?" Vanya asked, confused. Five ignored her and picked up a newspaper.

"Mmh, guess we missed the funeral."

"Oh yeah, how do you know about that?" Luther asked, defensively. Floren had to fight the urge to face palm and Five looked up, annoyed.

"What part of the future do you not understand?" He asked. "Heart failure huh?"

"Yeah." Diego said, right as Luther insisted "no."

"Nice to see that nothing's changed." He said before walking out.

"That's it? That's all you have to say?" Allison asked. Floren rolled her eyes again. Five needed to just open up and tell everyone what was going to happen while they still had a little bit of time. She was giving him two hours, if he didn't tell them by then, she was taking matters into her own hands.
