(ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!)

Christmas is here, and my family and Rengokus family are getting together. We decided to host it as our house, seeing its a fairly big house. "Is the cake almost done?" I asked Rengoku who was working in the kitchen, I was setting up the table.

He looked at me with a smile and nodded. I nodded before I finished setting up the table. "I'm worried about my father... he isn't the kindest man" Rengoku got the cake from the oven. "I know, but Senjuro badly wants to be here, your father did agree to come" Rengoku nodded before decorating the cake.

A few hours later and everything was done. "That took a lot longer than it should have" Rengoku chuckled. I nodded in agreement. I wrapped my arms around his neck before pecking him on the lips.

He wrapped his arms around me, kissing me back. We exchanged a few kisses before the doorbell rang.

I let go of the man before going towards the door, Senjuro waiting happily on the other side. "Hello!" the young boy smiles happily before hugging me. "Hello Senjuro!" I hugged the boy back before he ran towards Rengoku.

I noticed Rengokus father walking towards the door, I said hello before letting him in.

My family arrived soon after. My dad invited his sister (Rei) who has a teenage son who brought his girlfriend, I didn't mind seeing as we had tons of food to go around. Ive met my cousin once- when he was a child.

"Yuu?, you've grown so much" I smiled. "Ehe thanks!, oh and this is Hanako" he looked towards the girl. "Its nice to meet you!" she bows.

"S/n give me my toy back!" B/n shouted at his sister who stole his toy. Poor Senjuro was standing next to Rengoku not knowing what to do. Hes older than my siblings and forgot how to deal which such reckless kids that I call my siblings.

"Both of you, calm down!" Mom yelled towards them. S/n gave B/n his toy back.

"Come on Senjuro, try and go talk to them" Rengoku slowly moved the boy towards them. He slowly nodded.

"Ah and whose that?" Rei pointed towards Rengoku who was trying to help Senjuro.

"Ah that's Rengoku, his father Shinjurō and his younger brother Senjuro" I replied. "And you know him how?" Yuu asked.

"Stop being nosy" Rei bonked Yuu on the head. "Ow" he pouted. "Don't worry" I smiled "We're dating".

"Maybe you could give Yuu some advice ay?" My dad laughed. Yuu's face turned red. Hanako also laughing.

Senjuro tugged on my shirt while I was in the kitchen preparing drinks. "Mhmm?" I looked towards the boy. "S/n and B/n are including me, may I sit with everyone else?" I looked towards my siblings who seemed to be in their own world.

Looking back at the boy, I nodded "Of course you can, I can get a chair for you as well". His eyes lit up "Thank you!".

"No worries" the walked towards Rengoku before telling him the news. Rengoku smiled before rubbing his brothers hair.

After getting a chair for Senjuro, I sat back down.

"Yuu, how did you meet Hanako?" I asked. "Oh? ah, I met her during volleyball practice. She was new to my school so I wanted to show her around and we kinda hit it off afterwards" the boy explained.

Well that's one way to meet your girlfriend.

We continued talking for hours, until most of them went home. Rei decided to stay, Yuu and Hanako as well.

Rei said she wanted to catch up as she hasn't seen me in a longg while. She decided to help me clean a bit.

"You're a lucky girl" Rei started. "Mhm? how so" I questioned her. "Rengoku is a very kind man, I can see he cares about you a lot" she continued.

I felt a huge smile form on my face. "He has a good hear, he'll take care of you".

"Thank you".

"Today was fun" Rengoku and I were laying in bed, me facing his chest. "Yeah" I smiled.
