I watching the rain roll down the window, the clock was at 2 am. I don't understand why I can't sleep... I'm happy and live a carefree life yet..

Rengoku was sound asleep next to me. He was a bit of a light sleeper. So I needed to be careful when getting out of bed.

I slowly pulled the blanket off of my body. Moving my legs off the bed. Please don't wake him up..

Slowly standing up, I managed to get out of the room before waking the sleeping man up.

Phew.. We had a roof over the balcony, so even if it was raining, we could still stand outside. I opened the balcony door before stepping outside.

The wind was crisp, the raindrops falling on the roof.

Leaning on the balcony wall, I could see the street lights shining even through the fog outside.

I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist from behind. Soon Enough realising it was Rengoku. "Y/n?, what are you doing up?" the man asked, putting his chin on my head. "I couldn't sleep". "Why didn't you wake me?".

I leaned backwards into his embrace "I didn't want to wake you..".

He sighed "You know you can wake me if you can't sleep". I slowly nodded.

"Come" Rengoku said before leading me towards the bedroom once more. He pulled me under the blanket with him, before wrapping his arms around me. My back facing his chest. He kissed the top of my head.

"There is no need to stay awake, rest" Rengoku said, his voice somewhat calming. Soon enough, I fell asleep in his embrace.
