"Ken, you look happier, you do." Y/n spoke, trying her hardest to not let tears fall.

"Y/n I'm-"

"I knew one day you'd fall for someone new." She interrupted him.

"But Y/n-"

"And if she breaks your heart like lovers do, just know that I'll be waiting here for you."

"Are you done?" Kankei asked.

"Yeah, what do you think?" She asked.

"Well, I think that you'll do great at that audition. You might as well be an actor when you're older." Kankei laughed.

"You think so? Thanks Ken!" Y/n grinned. "I'm gonna ace this audition!"

"I believe in you."

Blood decorated the area, ghouls and humans alike fighting for their lives and the lives of their families. Many sounds of battle clashed together, clustering the sounds into chaotic noise.

With an angered growl, Y/n smashed the head of an unsuspecting ghoul. Quickly desposing the body, she moved on to kill as many ghouls as she could.

'For Kaneki. For Hide!' She'd think to keep her goal in mind. "I'll avenge you. All of you, along with you too father. I'll avenge you all." She picked up her pace until she was sprinting to the higher floors, killing every ghoul that came in her way in a fit of rage and determination.

'Violence is not the answer. Kankei could tell you a think or two about that! You're just a mean bully!' A younger version of the voice that has been stuck in his head for three years yelled. Kaneki groaned, his hands digging into the sides of his head as he fell to his knees from the throbbing pain.

"Get out of my head!" He grunted through gritted teeth.

"Kankei get your head in the game!" Ayato yelled, killing off the remaining CCG members in the room. "You can't get sidetracked right now!"

"Right." Kankei forced himself to get to his feet.

Just as they were about to run out of the room, an explosion cam from the wall, blowing the two ghouls away.

Ayato hit his back against the opposite wall while Kankei was thrown to a far corner of the room.

In the newly exploded hole stood Y/n. Covered in blood and breathing heavily. Rage clouding her vision as she stomped closer to the scratched up ghouls.

Kaneki groaned as he pushed himself off the floor. His eyes landed on the enraged (hair colour) haired girl before they shot open. "Y/n..."

"James, call the police! The army! The freaking FBI! Bring my baby back!" Mrs. L/n shook her husband, who was holding his phone to his ear. The gate had been unlocked a while ago, but Y/n had already disappeared. She was nowhere to be found. "Bring back Y/n, James!" Mrs. L/n fell to her knees and cried, causing Mr. L/n to slide down with her to comfort her.

"We'll find her, Maranda. We'll bring her back safe and sound." He kissed the top of her head. "I'll do everything I can to ensure that she comes back unharmed." He rubbed the sides of her arms and rested his chin at the top of her head, letting her cry into his chest.

"Chief, we've received word from one of our employees, James L/n. He reports that his daughter, Y/n L/n has ran away to apparently fight ghouls?" One of the officers of the cooperation reported to the chief executive officer.

"Fight ghouls?"

"Yes sir!" The officer confirmed. "You don't think she joint the CCG do you, sir?" The cooperation had enough information about everyone and everything concerning the city of Tokyo, including information on the CCG and Aogiri Tree. But no actions would be taken against these places for private reasons.

"Either that or she went insane. Did you get the copy of CCG's raid plan? Everyone was sent a copy. If she was with them, then she probably went to attack Aogiri Tree. I'll call Mr. L/n and inform him about the situation if he hadn't figured it out himself. Go ready a search team for the girl."

"Yes sir!" The officer rushed out of the office, leaving the chief to call his acquaintance, Mr. L/n.

"How do you know my name you monster!?" Y/n yelled, pulling out a sharp blade from her waist bag that wrapped around he shoulder and waist. "You'll pay for the pain you've caused!" She yelled, running to attack the white haired ghoul who surprisingly just dodged her attacks.

Y/n slashed the blade again, but just before Kankei could dodge Y/n was wrapped in a bright vermilion kagune which belonged to Ayato.

"Brat." His kagune tightened it's hold and right before he could throw her to the end of the room, he was stopped by Kaneki, who had wrapped his own kagune around his. "What the hell, let go!" He tried to maneuver his kagune from Kaneki's grip without losing his grip on the human girl.

"Wait, don't hurt her." Kaneki demanded.

"Yeah, like I'd do that after she almost blew us up and tried to play serial killer." Ayato sarcastically remarked, rolling his eyes.

"Remember the voice I told you about, which belonged to the girl I talked about?" Kaneki asked, eyeing the Girl who was struggling in the tight hold of both their kagunes.

"Yeah? Your point?" Ayato rolled his eyes, his kagune instinctively grew tighter in annoyance, causing the girl in his hold to groan in discomfort.

"Maranda, I've got to leave. I've got to get her back." Mr. L/n said to his wife after receiving a call from his work place regarding his daughter's whereabouts. He grabbed his coat that was placed messily on the coat rack standing by the door and made his way out the house to his car before pulling out his car keys and unlocking the vehicle.

"James, what did they say? Where's Y/n?" Mrs. L/n grabbed a coat of her own from the coat rack and followed after her husband.

"She's..." He paused, as if searching for the appropriate words to complete the sentence. "She's fighting ghouls at Rushima." His words were mumbled, yet somehow managed to make themselves clear to Mrs. L/n.

Her eyes grew wide, her breath hitched at the back of her throat, her face grew noticeable pale and her body started to shake immensely. "J-james....Is my daughter...Is she-.." Her eyes grew teary before warm, salty tears ran down her cheeks.

"Maranda." Mr. L/n pulled his wife into a reassuring embrace. "I promise to bring our daughter back safely. But I need you to stay here-" his words were interrupted by Mrs. L/n pushing away from his embrace.

"James, I will not just stand by while my baby is out there with some monster that might decide to tear her apart! I'm comming with you, you have no say in this." It was made clear by Mrs. L/n that this was no measly suggestion. It was a demand, and Mr. L/n knew he would not prosper in arguing with her.

"Promise you'll be careful?" A soft smile made it's way to his face.

"Depend on the situation." Mrs. L/n smirked before pecking her husband's cheek and rushing to the passenger seat of the car. "C'mon James, we've got a daughter to save......and ground."

"Y/n!" Kaneki cried out after hearing the pained scream comming from her. Ayato's kagune was suffocating her.

"Stay out of this Kaneki. You've always been way too fucking soft." He insulted, bringing Y/n closer to his face, his ghoul eyes seeming to glow a deadly red. "And you." His words held venom. "A fucking human, messing with Kanek-"

"Let go of me!!" She shrieked, not being able to bear the tight hold of his kagune anymore. Her struggling only resulted in his kagune's hold to tighten around her.

"Ayato!" Kaneki was quick to charge his kagune at Ayato, causing him to loosen his grip on the human. But it wasn't enough for him to let go of her. "Let her go." He warned, his voice low and demanding.

"Traitor." Ayato's eyes narrowed as if challenging him.

As soon as Kaneki was about to release another attack, Ayato tightened his kagune's hold immensely, crushing the poor human.

"KANEKI!" She screamed.

Kaneki's eyes widened.

And everything got silent, the human stopped struggling. Infact, she wasn't moving.
