you had been a long-time avenger, even through your young age. tony stark seemed to see past that issue. but, peter- your boyfriend- on the other hand, hadn't been accustomed to the attitude and patience that an avenger needed to hold.
"-so, really, it's your fault that i'm here." peter spoke, looking at tony. thanos was attacking, and he had to win the argument and try to justify the reason why he was on the giant spaceship with you, stephen strange, and tony stark.
and to be frank, being in the middle of a galactic war would never be the right time to make a witty remark.
