01. Blast from the Past

A/N:
This is Sun and Inge love story.
*

Inge is sitting alone in one of the barstool in her favorite coffeeshop just across her office building when a warm voice greets her.

"Inge?"

She is on her third year working and wearing her everyday outfit of light tone blouse and coffee colored tight skirt with a dark brown leather boot while the person greets her wears a shorf ripped jeans and an unsleeve black shirt.

That tanned man smiles widely seeing her.

"Inge!!!" He is sure and yells happily in the coffee shop. Makes Inge chuckles and greets him back,

"Hi, Sun."

Sun smiles brightly. He sits in the barstool next to Inge. "Long time no see, how are you?"

"Fine. How about you?"

"Great! I got this new buyer for the fruits and the day can be better. Beside, when I finally decides to try this fancy coffee the city people very fond of, I got to meet you." Sun says.

Inge laughs. "City people?"

Sun smiles. "Yup. Look at you all dress up and everything. Man with tight jeans, oh my God, I'm too old for this."

Inge chuckles.

Sun looks at the menu on behind the coffee bar confusedly. And then he looks to Inge. "I only drink black coffee and I don't understand shit writing on the wall. Can you recomend something?"

Inge bites her lower lips. She smiles widely. Sun is still the same as she remember. Brutally honest. He always speak his mind.

"You know,..." Inge says between her laugh. "I don't know what's with today but seems like all of my past are catching up to me. Of all the three ex-boyfriends I met today, you're the only one that make me laugh. And because of that Sun, the coffee is on me." She winks at Sun and then orders a coffee for Sun.

"Yeay! Best day on my life!" Sun yells happily again.

Some of the customers on the coffee shop even turns their head towards Sun.

Inge laughs.

Sun and Inge was lovers once during their first year of college. Both of them are Engineering students on one of the University just in town. Sun was taking Mechanical and Inge was taking Industrial. They met during the orientation time.

They were dating for almost a year. Never reach the first anniversary because Sun was always too busy with his friends and football while Inge always said that Sun is not enough. He is not romantic, and according to her friends, Sun is not good enough for Inge.

They were 18, when you have demanding girlfriend and not good enough boyfriend, when one of them say the 'good bye', you broke up.

Long road ahead, why bother.

Sun is not Inge's first boyfriend, but he was her first man.
Inge in the other hand is Sun's first girlfriend and woman.

"You still in town." Sun breaks the silence after his coffee arrived. Inge got him cappuccino. "I thought you were back to your hometown after graduating."

Inge shakes her head. "I got a job here."

"Hmm." Paused. "Still live in your dorm?"

Inge shakes her head. "I was moving into a better apartment."

"Cool. You really are a city girl." Sun grins.

Inge laughs. "So, how about you? I really confused about the mango you talked about earlier."

Sun laughs. "I am a farmer now. Helping my father. It was just out of town. An hour from here through the highway."

"Owh? You leave your mechanical degree just like that?"

Sun smiles. He plays with his coffee. "Well, I like big machines. It come in handy on the farm. Beside, I'm the only son. My older brother in law should be the one who help my father, but... he died a year ago in his line of duty in the army. So...."

"Owh. I am sorry to hear that." Inge taps on Sun's arm.

Sun smiles sadly. He looks at Inge. "It's fine. My sister lives with our parents again. And so do I. And actually she'll be taking our parents on holiday. My parents are never taking plane before."

"Yeah? That's so cool."

Sun laughs. "She probably wants a vacation for herself. She'll leave Park with me."

"Who's Park?"

"Her two years old son."

Inge nods. "You can take care of baby?"

Sun smiles. "I have muscles and Luna."

"You have wife already?"

Sun laughs. "My golden retriever."

Inge chuckles. "Owh."

Sun bites his lips. "How about you...? Have you... uhm... nevermind." He then drinks his coffee while looking at the cup.

Inge chuckles again. "No. I have not married yet. I was just breaking up a month ago because my ex-boyfriend impregnating a woman."

Sun turns his face to Inge abruptly. "He what?!"

"He cheated on me and the woman got pregnant. I have invitation to their wedding next month." Inge says in a falt tone and a thin smile. "He throws away three years relationship for a couple of big boobs."

Sun laughs buta hurriedly closes his mouth. "Sorry. I am not supposed to laugh. But your sarcasm always killing me."

Inge smiles. "But there's something strange happend to me today, really."

"Hm? What's that?"

"I enconter all three of my ex-boyfriend today.
First, I receive wedding invitation from Matt.
And then during 9 o'clock meeting today with client, turns out my client is Lex, my previous ex-boyfriend. He even invited me to lunch, which I turned down.
And then when I am trying to get a hold of my self, there you are, my first ex-boyfriend.
Voila!"

Sun blinks.

Inge laughs tiredly. All of sudden she felt a heavy weight on her shoulder.

"You have three ex-boyfriends only? I expect more."

Inge turns her head abbruptly to Sun.

"Come on, you're pretty, you can do better than that." Sun grins.

Inge smacks on Sun's head. And she bursts into laughter. "Seriously. This is what you get for dating boobs, you get dumb."

Sun laughs louder. "Yeah. Big boobs. I like big boobs. But they're still smaller than your brain."

"Fuck you, Sun. Just fuck you." Inge laughs.

Sun chuckles.

Then they go silent again.

Sun looks at Inge. "So... it's a bad day, huh?"

Inge blinks. She looks at her empty cup and take a long deep breath.

"Want to grab some drink?" Sun asks.

Inge looks at Sun.

Sun smiles. "A beer in exchange of a nice coffee."

Inge chuckles. "Just nice? Hell, Sun, this is the best cappuccino in town."

Sun shakes his head. "Sorry, I am not a fancy man who likes fancy coffee. For me there's only one kind of coffee, black. And back in the day, there is no coffee shop like this. We could have a great cup of coffee with a dollar, not ten fucking-dollars."

"That was so long time ago, Sun."

Sun grins again. "I'm a classic, Inge."

"You're a caveman." Inge grins.

Sun laughs. "Farmer."

Inge laughs too. She looks at Sun. She felt refreshed, laughing with him. "Fine." She says finally.

"Hm?" Sun raised his eyebrows.

"Let's grab some beers. Or maybe stronger drinks." Inge says. She tidies her belongings and gets off of the stool.

That's when Sun has a good look of what Inge wears. Her blouse perfectly shaped her body with that tight skirt she wears. And then she even put her leather coat which covers to her skirt. And the leather boots just make it beyond perfect.

Sun froze in his stool. He makes a WOW with his lips.

Inge flicks on his forehead to get him back to the earth.

Sun grins. He gets off of the stool too. "The entire men on the bar will be envy me. Seriously. I just wear an ugly short jeans and not even have sleeve on my T-shirt and yet I have the hottest girl."

Now Inge smacks on Sun's head.

Sun bursts into laughter.

They walks out the coffee shop.

"I don't have a car." Inge says.

"Yeah? How are you going to work everyday?"

Inge points at the building across the street. "My office, 17th floor. I work on Sales and Marketing of that Bank." And then points at the building about three buildings on tbe right. "My apartment."

"What floor? Which room?" Sun asks.

Inge folds her arms on her chest.

Sun grins. "Worth trying."

Inge chuckles. "How about you? You said you were delivering something. Do you bring a car?"

"Technically." Sun says.

"What you mean technically?"

"It has four wheels." Sun says. And then a big grin breaks on his face. "It has two doors and two seated."

Inge blinks. "You can't bring mangos with coupe."

Sun is still grinning.

"It's a picm up truck. Isn't it?" Inge guesses.

"100 points for Inge!!!" Sun yells happily with both hands in the air.

Inge bursts into laughter. "Sofia and Peach are going to kill me with their mocking if they heard this. Oh my God!"

"You still with your annoying girls gang?"

Inge shows a middle finger. "It's hard to find girl who can tolerate my sarcasm. Shut up."

Sun rolls his eyes. "So, are you still interested in grabbing a beer?"

Inge sighs. She turned down Lex's lunch invitation while he is driving an Audi, but she is going to grab a beer with a man who doesn't even have a sleeve in his T-shirt taking a truck?

Sun put both his hands in his pocket. "So.... Beer?" He asks once again.

Inge smiles and nods. "Beer."
Well, Sun is still the same Sun she knew.

"Cool. This way."
