Spencer sneaked towards the fire alarm. He pulls it and scuttles away.

Immediately crowds rose from their seat and began herding to leave the room. Chaos ensued. Spencer stood back allowing the crowds to race out. He narrowed his eyes as he saw the security team usher the five researchers out of a back door, in the opposite direction of the crowd's escape. Francesca and Enzo followed behind closely.

Spencer snuck behind them. He followed them down the fire escape stairs. "Which way is the exit?" Spencer exclaimed, in an attempt to distract them. Enzo was furious, while Francesca was horrified. A member of the security team leapt forward, defensively.

"Reid, what are you doing?" Spence could hear Hotch's teeth grinding through his earpiece. He ignored it.

"Dr Reid? Security can stand down. Dr Reid, you should really be using the other exit." Francesca stuttered.

"Sorry, it's just crowds and I don't mix well." Spencer tried his best to be nonchalant and casual.

"No problem at all. Follow us," Enzo hurriedly beckoned, eager to get away from the commotion.

The other security team had already escorted the researchers down.

Spencer scurried after Francesca and Enzo, until they reached the ground floor and out onto a private lawn.

Spencer caught Gia's eye and saw her frowning at him. He shook his head slightly, pleading her with his eyes for her to not draw attention. She looked away, hoping that the others wouldn't notice Spencer.

Unfortunately, that plea was left unanswered. Noah saw Spencer and nudged Evie, who in turn signalled to Anna and Jack.

The small group stood out in the frosty air as Enzo and Francesca bickered amongst each other.

"Spencer, did they get you too?" Anna whispered. Spencer tried to ignore her but they did not go unnoticed by Enzo.

"Hey, what's going on there? Did I say you could talk?" Enzo huffed.

"Dr Reid, we should get you back to the party," Francesca encouraged.

"Wait. You're with them. With them," Anna jabbed her fingers in the air. She turned to Gia. "I knew there was something about him. Something off. Dr Spencer Reid was to perfect for your Gia. How could someone so attuned to you just stumble in like that."

Enzo held up his hands. "Pause." He glanced from Spencer to Gia. "Of course. I'm surprised I didn't notice before. You two are quite akin. Of course, this genius would be your Spencer. Take him as well." Enzo instructed the guards.

Before they could SWAT entered the opening and restrained all the suspects.
