Chapter 31:

[Akaza's POV]

"Takemitchy, I remember asking you to bring Baji back, so why is his 1st vice commander her but Baji isn't?" Mikey asked Takemichi who looked pretty shaken up. "Just what are you trying to accomplish? Do you really want to die that badly?"

Actually, Mikey has a point. What does Takemichi want to accomplish? He was so eager to get Kisaki out of Toman, but why? he wasn't even part of Toman yet when he punched Kisaki. 

He remained quiet for a while before answering. What's amazing about Takemichi, he didn't even hesitate when he answered.

"Mikey-kun! I want to be a top member of Toman!" He said, his face showed that he was eager to be on top. It's what he really wants to do. "I will make you acknowledge that someday, Mikey-kun! That's what I want to accomplish!"

His answer left me, Draken and Mikey surprised.

Idiot.

I couldn't help but smile at Takemichi's answer. He really is just like Shinichiro. I remember Shinichiro also saying he wanted to be on top.

"That guy is a complete idiot," Draken said, chuckling.

"He sure is" Mikey responded with a smile.

Even without Mikey saying it, he already acknowledges Takemichi. Draken and I could tell, that's why Mikey was so fond of Takemichi, he knew he was special. Ever since we first met him during the Kiyomasa incident, Mikey already knows.

I told Mikey and Draken to go ahead, I wanted to talk to Shinichiro alone for a while. I headed to Shinichiro's grave and sat down in front of his tombstone.

"I haven't told you this yet," I started off "I kissed Mikey" I laughed as I remembered that incident in his room. It was funny and unexpected but I don't regret it at all.

"Mikey also told me he kissed me before, funny right?" I continued "I actually wanted to tell you that I am starting to like Mikey"

I never thought I'd like Mikey, we grew up together and all I ever saw him was my best friend. He was nothing like Shinichiro, he was a pain in the ass and a bully, all he ever did was make fun of me. At the same time, he was so much like Shinichiro, he took care of me and never made me feel lonely.

"I was ready to fall for Mikey, but when I saw Kazutora it made me think about what he did to you," I told him "I want to like Mikey, but seeing Kazutora just makes me want to disappear"

The rain is making this talk more depressing than it already is.

"If I kill Kazutora, will it make things better?" I asked. "All I know is, I want to be with Mikey and protect him, I want to be by his side forever"

I stood up from my seat and straightened my clothes.

"Nevermind that, who knows what will happen in the future anyway," I said chuckling, I then felt someone grab my arm and spun me around.

Mikey pulled me towards him then kissed me, I was completely caught off guard. After he kissed me he hugged me. 

"Mikey?" I was confused but at the same time, I could feel my heart go crazy.

"I want you to only look at me from now on,"  He said but it was barely audible.

...

Mikey did drive me home but the drive was silent, none of us dare to speak a word. I don't think it's something we should talk about, I mean the fight between Toman and Valhalla is tomorrow.

But every time I recall what happened in the cemetery, I can't help but blush and get completely flustered. 

I need to go to sleep and prepare for the fight tomorrow.

I didn't manage to get a wink of sleep at all.

I dragged myself out of bed and into the shower. Maybe a cold shower would wake me up. After I showered and got dressed in my Toman uniform. I tucked my hair under my beanie and grabbed my mask from my drawer.

"Knock, knock," Draken said entering my apartment "You ready to go?"

"Good to go," I said as I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. "Where's Mikey?"

"He's waiting downstairs," He said "He's all fired up to fight against Kazutora"

"But I want to fight Kazutora" I whined.

"Knowing you, you're just going to kill Kazutora" Draken said with a serious look on his face.

We then headed to where Mikey was, he was sitting on his babu, waiting.

Why the fuck is he topless with just his Toman coat over his shoulder?

My face started heating up and I'm starting to get flustered again. Why is seeing Mikey making me feel embarrassed? Just thinking of him makes me feel embarrassed!

"Aka-chin, you okay? You look tired" Mikey said as we approached him "Why are you all red? Did you catch a cold from the rain?" He asked as he placed his hand over my forehead to see if I have a fever.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine" I said a little too defensively "Let's go, everyone is waiting"

We then headed to Musashi Shrine where we planned to gather before heading to the abandoned parking lot.

"I'm surprised you actually got Hansen to overseeing the fight," Draken said as we were heading.

"The Ikebukuro Criminal Black Members are actually affiliated with my old man's division" I responded. "If my old man ever found out I'm part of a gang fight, I'm so dead"

"He wanted you to be a doctor, right?" Mikey asked.

"He wanted me to be a doctor, I wanted to be an architect, my mom wants me to study pharmacy" I informed them "But who cares, all I want right now is to hurt Kazutora"

After a short meeting at Musashi Shrine, we finally headed to the abandoned parking lot. As we entered the vicinity, we saw multiple infamous delinquents from all overTokyo.

Even the Haitani Brothers are here. 

"Are you guys ready?" Hansen said it's starting! "Fighters! Make your entrance!" 

The gates finally opened.

"Tokyo Manji Gang! Valhalla!" Hansen announced.

"Mikey, let's go," I told Mikey who was beside me, he nodded and lead the team inside the parking lot.

Everyone acknowledged Mikey's presence. Toman is only 2 years old but Mikey established a name even from within the veteran delinquents. He had his own name, he wasn't 'Sano Shinichiro's younger brother', he was 'The Invincible Mikey'.

"Representatives! Step forward!" One of the officials said,

Draken and Kazutora then stepped forward to decide the mechanics of the fight.

"five-on-five with your best guys or an all-out brawl with everyone, which will it be?" Hansen asked. 

"Valhalla picked this fight with us, you should decide, Kazutora" Draken told them "We just have one condition, to rescue Baji, if Toman wins this battle we will take Baji back"

Kazutora was not amused with the condition.

"Ha? Baji joined Valhalla on his own! You're making no sense" Kazutora stated

"We're taking Baji back" Draken was firm with the condition. 

"You bastard, bring it on!" Kazutora said he was trembling in anger

"Hey, don't start yet," Hansen said but he was knocked out with a punch on the face by Kazutora, leaving everyone shocked. 

"So lame! Overseers? Conditions? This isn't a game" Kazutora stated, he completely lost it "We came here to beat your asses to death!"

"Shall we begin, Mikey?" Hanma asked with that creepy smile of his.

"Let's go Toman!" Mikey yelled and everyone came running towards each other.

The war was about to begin.

I'm going to kill Kazutora, right here, right now.
