We and Danny rode our bikes back to the Apartment and Johnny and his crew pushed off the hill leaving us to fall. We stayed laying there for a minute then Danny got up and came over to me and saw my head bleeding. Ezra you ok, He said. Yea, I'm fine it's just my head, I said. Don't get up I got you. He carried me on his back and He carried me back to the apartment complex. He put me down up against a wall and I sat there. He got so angry he tried to throw his bike away. Danny stop, I said in a weak voice. I see his mother pull up. Danny and his mother got into an argument. Is he ok, She asked Danny pointing to me. Yea, Ma he's fine he just hit his head, Danny said. It's best if we let him stay over at our house, so we can check on him. Danny carried me through the door and into the bathroom. He sat me down on the toilet and started wiping the blood off my head. I can do it myself you know, I said. Lemme help you this once, He said. Ezra, I'm sorry this happened to you, He said. Stop saying your sorry, I've faced tougher things in life, I said. After he got done cleaning my face I walked into Danny's bedroom and laid on the bed. Danny came in 5 minutes later and laid with me. Oh sorry, I'll let you sleep, I said. No I have to stay up, He said. Why, I asked? Because you can't go to sleep you might get a concussion, He said. But I feel sleepy, I said. Don't sweat it Ezra it's only for tonight, He said. Fine, I said.  So how long have you been living reseda, Danny asked? My whole life, I said. Freddy told me you did karate back in jersey, how long did you do it for, I asked? A while I think, Danny said. So has it always been just you and your mom, Danny asked? Yea my dad left a day after I was born, I said. What about you, I asked? My father died when I was young, Danny said. Danny, I'm so sorry, I said hugging him. We spent the whole night just talking.

-The Next Day-

Once the bell rang for school to let out Danny saw Ali and walked out of the classroom and I walk out with him. Ali and him started talking until Ali noticed me. Hey, who's your friend, Ali asked? This is Ezra guys, you remember him from the beach party, Danny said. Oh right hi Ezra, Ali said. Hi, I said. What happened to your eye, Ali asked? I got into a bike accident but I'm ok, Danny said. Geez, what kind of bike do you have Daniel, Ali's friend asked? Danny lied and said it was a very big bike. Danny, I gotta go, I have a study group with Freddy, I said. Danny, Ali asked? His nickname to me, Danny said. Bye Danny, I said. hugging him.
