Sean's POV:

"I gotta head home." Alex looks at her phone. "Will, please send that to me."  

     She gives the three of them hugs and I decide to walk her home like a good boyfriend would. I said bye to the guys and told them that we could have a guys day tomorrow or something. It's honestly been a really good day. 

"Alright. You've had enough of me for like three days so go hang with your boys." I walk Alex up to her doorstep. 

"Okay shortcake." Another name for her. "I'll text you later." 

"Shortcake?" She asks. "What is up with you and cake?" 

"I just like cake." I shrug. 

"Whatever. So you'll text me later?" She puts her phone in her back pocket. 

"Yup." I nod. She seemed distracted. "Whatcha thinkin about?" I put my hands around her waist. 

"Nothing. I have this excited feeling inside of me. But, it'll probably go away soon." She shrugged it off. "Now don't worry about me. Go hang with the guys." 

"Okay. I love you cupcake." I tell her. 

"I love you my French fry." I stopped on the second step down and turned to her. 

"French fry?" I asked, slowly. She gave me a little snicker. 

"I'm gonna call you that because you make me french fries and I LOVE french fries." Alex said, with so much excitement. "Now goo!" 

      I laughed at her childness. I go back to my house and ask if the guys wanna hang out. They were still playing basketball, but I do have a hoop at my house. So we can still play basketball and hang out. They all come over in ten minutes which was pretty quick. 

"So Sean. You and Alex are official? Like official, official?" Will asks me. 

"Yes we are. Why do you ask?" I play with Alex's name on the bracelet. 

"Well, you've liked her so long and ya know. She's pretty, talented, and really smart." He tells me. 

"Yo Will. That's Sean's girl and my little sister. We know she's pretty." Gabe teases. 

"What ya got there Sean?" Kenneth points to my bracelet. 

"Oh this? It's just a bracelet that me and Alex wear." I explain, smiling back to the day she said yes. "I wear her name and she wears mine." 

"That's cute." Josh speaks up. 

"Let's shoot some hoops." I decide to change the subject. 

      After shooting some hoops and some scrimmage games, we go back inside. It's six-twenty and of course they all have to head home. Christmas is coming so soon. I really didn't know what to get Alex. 

Alex's POV:

     Growing up, Christmas was my favorite holiday. I spent all of Christmas day with my family in our pajamas, watching old movies, drinking hot chocolate by the fire, and then having our family Christmas card. It was really something I had always looked forward to every year. As I go inside, I see a Christmas tree up and gingerbread cookies made. Wait... My mom always made gingerbread cookies. No it can't be. 

     I walk into the kitchen and it's just Adeline. She burnt some of the cookies. This is why you don't let a non-baker make the cookies because then it just all goes to waste. She's trying to re-create  our Christmas. I walk put my stuff down and look at the cookies. They're hard and burnt and black. Also horribly shaped. 

"Um.. Adeline, no offense but this looks horrible." I take a bite and then spit it out. 

"I know. I tried." She complains. "Can you make the cookies?" 

"Sure. Just give me the materials." I tell her and she makes a face. 

"Oo.. About that.. We kinda ran out of everything." She fiddles with her fingers. 

"Do you wanna take me to the store?" I ask. And she makes another face. 

"Nah not really. Go with Sean." She shrugs and skips out the kitchen. I text Sean. 

Me: So Adeline is rude. And she's a bad cook. Wanna take me to the store to buy stuff so I can make cookies?? 

My Cute Idiot ❤️💕😍:  Well sure. The guys just left so I'll come with ya. 

Me: See u in ten? 

My Cute Idiot ❤️💕😍: Yup. 

"Adeline, give me fifty bucks." I go over to her in the living room. 

"What? Why?" She looks at me. 

"Do you want cookies or not?" I cross my arms. 

"How's two twenties and a ten?" She grabs her wallet. 

"Thank you." I put my jacket back on. As I am about to open the door, Sean rings the bell. "Hey Sean. I got fifty bucks!!" 

"You're rich!" He cheers, sarcastically. Making our way to the nearest Safeway we end up buying more than expected. After buying all that stuff, Sean wants to help me with it. I tell him that he should go home but he wants to help out. I decide to change into my pajamas which was just Nike sweats and a striped crop top. I put my hair in a messy bun and put on my glasses. Yup, I'm blind. I only wear glasses at night. 

"Cutie alert." Sean says, as I open the fridge. 

"Where?" I turn around. "Where's this cute girl?" 

"Right in front of me." He looks so mesmerized. 

"My glasses make me look uglier than usual."  I scrunch my nose. 

"In my opinion, you look hot." Sean taps my nose. 

"Oh whatever. Let's get started shall we?" I ask, and take the stuff out of the bags. 

     We ended up making three batches of gingerbread cookies and frosted them of course. We also decide to make sugar cookies, which are my favorite. We let the cookies cool for a bit and decide to sit on the couch. I turn on the t.v. and A Walk To Remember is on. It's such a good movie. I slowly doze, leaning against Sean. 

"I wanna break up with you." Sean tells me. 

"What did I do wrong?" I ask. 

"I just can't handle you anymore. You're so needy. After two years, I need a break from you." He tells me. 

"I thought we were doing well Sean." I run my fingers through my hair. 

"I've lost interest in you." He shrugs. "I never loved you." 

"Never..?" Tears stream down my face. 

I never loved you. I never loved you... 

     I quickly jolt up, and see Sean asleep. I look at the time on the clock. It had read, 1:36 a.m. Thank god it was just a dream. What if Sean and I broke up? What if I'm so needy? Would he ever get tired of me? Would we even date for two years? Even if we broke up, would still be friends? These questions ran through my mind.
